You really make me want to collect Gamecube games. You'd better believe I'm starting once my PS2 collection is built up a bit.
I'll do that once I've collected the majority of WIi U games.
Collecting GameCube is a bit hard rn locally all I’m finding is sports games
Im collecting ps2 games too
@@CollectingCasual it's easy for me cause take Sonic Gems Collection and Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut for an example I have the Players Choice Versions of them 3 of them yellow label like never before I never had 3 Sonic Games on the Gamecube That's never been Player's Choice Before in my life.
I never realized you could stand a game boy color up on it's own until now lol
Hi Nathaniel!
sup nathaniel
Ayyyy it’s Nathaniel
oh hi nb
You've literally got me into collecting Nintendo stuff. I've spent a fortune this month for myself but also found loads of treasures on FB marketplace which i've managed to resell to fund my new hobby 😄
Just got a galaxy new 3ds xl, heart gold and silent hill on the ps1 this month and alot more. So excited 😆
You should make a discord where people can share their collections/keeps everyone up to date about new exclusive
You should make vlogs of you hunting down the games. I find that searching on marketplace and hunting down and having to go to a weird part of town for a good deal on a game is like a great part of the experience
The controller stand is cool!
This month may have been one of the most important months in my collecting life. My cousin gave me his hand me down black wii with super Mario galaxy 2 and a white wiimote and nunchuck. It is one of the original models with gamecube controller ports, and it's probably two years older than me. Today I'm going to gamestop to get some games, hopefully NSMB Wii and MK Wii.
Save you’re money and hack it :)
@@jp-go7hg I second this. It was way easier than I thought it would be as long as you have an sd card and a computer that can read it
Pokémon Snap is charming. The gameplay is deeper than expected
These videos are awesome man! I think if you were to put the year on the title as well (April 2021), it would be cool to see how the collection grows not just every month but every year too!
I love your collection! Would also love to have something similar. Love the update videos!
My latest additions (april and early may 2021):
Dark Souls (remastered) - Switch
WarioWare - 3DS
Zelda Majora's Mask - 3DS
Super Paper Mario - Wii
Think that's all. My entire collection is so small compared to yours. But I feel that I got pretty good collection now for 3DS, Wii and Switch. I often try to focus on good deals like sales in stores. Love the physical releases!
Mario Kart Wii is also special because for the mod scene, i believe they require you to own the disc
This is an amazing channel I’m trying to collect all of the Nintendo switches I’m not missing a lot now
I got a sealed copy of Ghost Trick on the DS for $45. It goes for $250 or more sealed.
I bought a Wii at goodwill, shockingly it still worked
damn, u are sealed collector now :) that mario kart wii, woooow
I've been collecting Anime/figures as usual!
I got more Beavis and Butt-Head DVDs, and a NEW complete series of Daria (the original one i got was almost completely destroyed)
Hey can confirm the Banjo Kazooie holder works with the Switch Pro Controller, I use it for that exact purpose 😅
Great lot of pickups There.
My pickups
- SNES controller
- street racer SNES boxed
- bionic commando NES
- sonic rush adventure ds in box
- f1 championship season 2000 - game boy colour boxed
I'm so glad I pre-ordered Pokemon Snap on GameStop I got it Saturday! It is a very good game. Hope you get yours soon.
Hey NC, thought I'd let you know I got that Mario 35th case in the mail a day ago! Hopefully you see this because its awesome and I'm pretty excited.
0:41- Well, Monster Rancher Advance CIB comes to mind
I got quiet a load last month. I got Those NES comics system Mario 3 issue 1 and Captain N issue 2 and 3. Megaman 7, Mario 64, GoldenEye. Japanese Super Gameboy and Pokemon trading cart game 2 reproduction cart.
You sure got some good nintendo tapes there son. :)
I'm late on the game on this (no pun intended), but I just got that edition two Saturdays ago. I wasn't even trying to get it either. What I was trying to do was get my hands on a Switch docking system. And when I went to the Gamestop that I usually go to, they only had the Monster Hunter Rise Edition available. That was the ONLY SWITCH DOCKING CONSOLE AVAILABLE IN THAT STORE!!!!!!!!!! And now I own what could be worth $5000 in the next decade! I am so relieved that the 4 years I had to wait on not having a Switch was worth it! I now have the most rare thing in my collection!
That pokemon sun/moon 3ds double pack is really cool. Good finds and nice pickups!
I love it!
I actually started collecting every Mario game released in the EU this month (I already had about 40 of them, so I had a good starting point) and I got 12 games for the low price overall of £70 (~$100), so I'm pretty proud of what I've achieved in April :D
Well I haven’t bought any games this month but I am currently saving for a VR headset. That will be my big thing for May. Luckily not too many games have been revealed for May yet.
I would say my haul of the month was definitely a nes classic factory sealed with an extra controller (factory sealed) for 50 totallllll!!! Also I found Nintendo land at goodwill factory sealed for 25 but I got them to do half at 12.50.
Holy hell it feels like I just watched your pickup from March.
Paper Mario TTYD came with the «BEST SELLER» sticker since launch day in Canada.
I got the limited edition Tommy Hilfiger gameboy color and it’s my favorite piece in my collection. I’m still early on in collecting and this is my first rare piece. I just need to find the box for it next
I just got lego Star Wars II: the original trilogy for GameCube last week. Happy that I got my first GameCube game
That Broadband Adapter should probably be kept sealed. There *is* also a big blister pack version of it (with the jagged packaging), but I'd imagine that's a unicorn as far as GameCube accessories go.
I'd only open this one if you managed to find the big blister pack one for a good price.
I finally found twilight princess hd in very good condition with the amiibo. super excited for that.
Been trying to do a little collection project, getting all of the NA Wii Remote variants. Got Mario and Yoshi this week
I don't know if this counts as "collecting" but I got ACNH 13 months after release. The digital version is what I picked.
Sick pick-ups. You’re living the dream
Broadband adapters are region free, so the Japanese adapter will work fine.
The modem adapters were used to connect to old dial-up modems, because some people still had those when the Gamecube got some online functionality. This adapter can't be used to connect 2 gamecubes, since it can't set up a LAN. Unfortunately this means that modem adapters are pretty much useless (and worthless) nowadays.
I am literally waiting for that Banjo Cable Guys figure in the mail atm
For those who are collecting and don't very much care if labels and such are authentic (I do, but it's another way to be cheaper if you don't!), a game junk store near me PRINTS the art for games and puts them on the matching box for the console for less than $2 each.
Ask your store about disc games that you have loose, for extra boxes. I got lucky and they had a SPARE BOX for TTYD and it was authentic.
Man, congrats on that collection man!
Thanks!
@@NintendoCollecting Cheers!
Lithium the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Collectors Edition with the Rathalos amiibo has started going up for sale at Gamestops
I finished collecting the 3 Monster Hunter Amiibos. Took weeks and with the help of numerous GameStop employees.
GameStop also hooked me up with a Back to the Future PS4 game!
Anyone played New Pokemon Snap yet? I'm waiting for it to be delivered
I really want a boxed dandelion gameboy color as well ( i had it as a kid), but yeah i'm trying to find as much gamecube stuff as possible and i'm not having much luck. I've found a ton of playstation stuff though.
I just can't seem to find the case for marvel vs capcom 2 on dreamcast. I have the disc loose and the case alone has just ramped up in price and I'm just waiting for a better price
I was able to get another special edition wii u (super mario maker), 3rd in the collection a few more to do!
I finally got Wario World this month! I played it all when a friend loaned it to me a long time ago and I’ve been looking for it for a while. Pokémon Black 2 keeps eluding me though, I already have the case manual and all in perfect condition, I am just missing the cartridge and even that feels impossible to find
I have that thousand year door and I didn’t realize it was so valuable 😮
I don’t know if you own a Hori Digital Controller for the GameCube, the one that is made specifically for the Gameboy Player. But I would love to see a video of that. Cheers :)
Does anyone know how much the first print edition of Breath of the Wild on Wii U is worth? I have an unsealed copy with the controller mistake and I'm just curious lol
Same happened to me, pre-ordered Pokemon Snap and Returnal from Amazon and they are delayed delivery until the middle of May. What the heck?
Yep mine was Amazon too
i wish i had money to collect ☹️i’ll get there soon though
Same
Don't have that much money, but I have built up 100 games in a month, mainly because the majority of my games are all from my childhood.
I feel like when i get a job and money, the 3ds pokemon games will cost my soul, same thing for the ds ones but they will cost mine and my mother's soul
Trust me, i does take money to have all the grear stuff but i started collecting in 2019 right in high school and working minimal wage and now i have over 1,600 video games
Keep grinding 🔥
Recently Picked up Twilight princess for GameCube, and paid 100 CAD, way lower than what it is going for. I'm hoping it keeps increasing so I can resell it later, but for now I'll enjoy it for sure!
Do you have Cars for the GameCube? I have it and found it for cheap
If you want to see some pick ups tune in for a video at 8 PM ET. Nice haul here!
Tiny little mistake - Its the pokeball plus not pokewalker :)
Thanks I've got Heart Gold and Soul Silver in my brain from gaming
@@NintendoCollecting can definitely understand, those games are addicting!
I recently picked up wacky races for the NES for $200 at a local game store
My wife picked up a phone holder that's Miles Tails; I can hold my Wii U gamepad so I'm sure your holder should hold your pro controller
I didn't know there were first print copies of BotW; I got mine from GameStop and it came with the same copy you have
Im trying to get my 3rd English copy of colosseum for my gamecube shiny hunt ive been doing since november 2020. Its frustrating because of how quickly the price went from $60 to $120. Theres so much cooler stuff to buy for $120 than a game you already have 2 of.
I just payed $200 for the eevee bundle.. I used the mew code and it worked but idrc, I payed $80 more because nobody had these locally or on eBay they are selling these for $130 for a japeneze pokeball plus, excluding the game! The prices are insane now, btw when I opened the eevee game that was sealed, it didn’t have a manual with it!
Im trying to get the box for the legends of zelda alink between worlds cause i bought the game at a local gamestop but not with the og case
Just got Zelda's Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask for the 3DS (the latter being the "world" version). I also got, after many months of postponing its purchase, a CIB copy of Sega Ages Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box. And finally got all the four Way Of The Samurai games, but there's no way I'm buying the Samurai Western spin-off. That game is not worth $200. Oh, and I also got Hello Kitty Roller Rescue for the GameCube. It's just too cute to be ignored!!!
I’ve been looking for the first super Mario bros 1 for the NES
I finally found a jungle green N64 and a copy of pokemon crystal :) I got everything and more super cheap at a garage sale
8 player DD on 2 GCs requires 2 BBAs and a crossover cable. 16 player requires a minimum of 4 consoles and BBAs. When you use more than 2 consoles you have to use regular network cables and hook them up to an ethernet switch. For example, I use an 8 slot Netgear FS108NA since you can have a maximum of 8 consoles (I only run the 4 console setup, but I do have 8 copies of the game just in case). I also exclusively use wavebirds. Having that many of them also comes in very handy for 8 player Smash Bros. 8 people sharing one TV is bad enough without cables to contend with.
The unfortunate thing about DD is that most people never actually experience the game the way it's meant to be played. They play it like any other Mario Kart and complain about the physics. That's because the physics are specifically designed around 2 players sharing a kart. The name Double Dash even refers to the fact that both players timing the start correctly will give you an extra big boost... a double dash. You work together to charge drift boosts, and the ability of the back player to punch means that he can attack other karts, steal their items, and cause your kart to strafe left or right. Most people never realize this.
My favorite pick up this month is probably the PS2 and SNES I got for free.
the items that I can’t find anywhere for cheap are 3ds and wiis. I’ve never had a Nintendo console and I’ve been searching for one of the two for at least a year but I’ve had no luck :(
How i wish i could get a copy of TTYD like you did
I found a sealed kiwi gameboy color for 400 cad here in Edmonton Ab
I'm currently trying to obtain Mortal Kombat deception for the GameCube it's proven really hard to find and it's going for expensive to
I had ttyd when I was a kid. Have no idea where it is now :(
Soon I’m gonna be able to get a ton of games, but I’m not sure which to get. I have a Wii U and a Switch and a 2DS XL. I’m definitely getting SMO, (I’m that one person who’s had a switch for 4 years and still didn’t get it), and I’m hoping to get some games for my Wii U and my 2DS. I’m thinking of maybe getting a Gameboy or a GBA. Any recommendations?
The GBA has some of the best 2D games ever made and it's backwards compatible. I strongly recommend Zelda Minish Cap, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Golden Sun, Advance Wars and Metroid Fusion
@@NintendoCollecting yes those games are great but also Kirby and the amazing mirror the fire emblem games and if you r fine with importing the Starfy games and Kururin games are great as well
Trying to get Pokémon crystal, Emerald, Leaf Green, and Ruby.. arguably the 4 most difficult and expensive gbc/gba games to finish my gens 1, 2, & 3 collection!
I recently saw a cartridge only copy of Emerald at a local second hand shop going for $130..
@@micahsrevenge5767 holy moly that’s insane.. even for a loose game. I’m in the collecting game for the long haul, maybe we’ll see a slight dip in all this retro gaming? I know since the pandemic it has spiked everyone’s nostalgia, coming from someone myself who got into it for the same reason. Pure nostalgia and a mix of being home and boredom.
Those amiibo has the old label. Aren’t those new though?
So where do you keep all your stuff not on display? The only reason i dont collect anything is because of the lack of space
I display mostly everything if you watched my room tour
Finally got Ghost trap for DS
Just picked up some PS3 Games to enjoy this month that's really it. ^-^
About two years ago, I found a camo MTV GameCube for fifty dollars. Twelve tear old me didn't get it and got a Wii game instead. I hate myself.
I got rather lucky by getting an Ocarina of Time cartridge and star wars bounty hunter gamecube for decent prices. Maybe I could get lucky for an Oot box. :)
Dude I'd have all collection's of Pokemon on 3ds, and switch, but I do have Nintendoland on the Wii U, and me and my siblings have a great time on it. Nintendo if your listening please make Nintendoland 2 happen, cause I want to see some new mini games, some of it story mode, and lot's of partying to come to the switch.
You should leave that sealed. Broadband adapters are already rare and that’s a REALLY nice box, I’d hate to see it ruined. If you’re not too big into sealed items sell that to get two open ones.
I only got a captain falcon amiibo last month
Hey lithium maybe you can hook one of your consoles and play all of your games in one day maybe one day you can play only nes games
Do u have the Pokémon let’s go steel book?
I do not yet
Ultimate NES Remix for Switch would be an amazing release. Maybe coming in 2022-2023 🥺🥺
Luckily I Never Opened My Black Labeled Paper Mario, Sonic Dx, Sonic Adventure 2..Maybe I'll Spend The Penny an Get Acrylic Cases For Them..I Just Threw Them Into My Comic Poly Bag an Card Board Back in The Day 👌👌
I was able to get 48 Atari 2600 games and a console for my mom for early Mother’s Day present
Nintendo Land is such an amazing game!
Lucky! :)
Rest in piece Mario
I found a Kirby Rainbow Curse (WII U) for $35 dollars factory sealed and Xenoblades Chronicles (WII) for $35 factory sealed. Is that a good deal? I don't live in the US so it's really hard to find US games
Great deal especially for Kirby
@@NintendoCollecting inspired by you I managed to snag a couple of wind waker HD for roughly 80 dollars. Also got myself a yokai-watch blaster white dog squad for $30.
I think super mario 3d all stars will be about 100 USD in a few years
I have the game so if the game becomes rare, then I will have a really super rare game.
@@ninmarbob it will not be rare, it was one of the best sellers in 2020, its just going to be expensive
Hey lithium my favorite pokemon is eevee he's so cute very cute
GAMESTOP HAS PLENTY OF SNAP
Gonna wait until my xbox one becomes as old as the Gameboy
I can’t get Mario power tennis or star fox assault
Those are great games to play too. Hope you find them soon
I bought a bunch of gamecube games this month. My wallet hates me 😂😂😂
How the hell did you get that gameboy color cib for $65??!! amazing luck
Patience and hunting constantly
I feel like 3D all stars will just maintain the $60 over time unless something happens in 20 years
