simple trick for the father part on nightmare to avoid getting killed on 2nd night and 3rd night:
1st night:
wash dishes
turn off the tv
clean
when the bell rings, dont go up, just downstairs to where the bed is located
2nd night
wash dishes first
turn off the tv
clean until 5pm, if you hear the bell rings then go to the 2nd floor
3rd night: do the same as 2nd night
i did this trick for almost 10x by beating nightmare and im sure of it, goodluck gamers!, godspeed

I got some tricks for the dad part:
This trick need two people
When the dad go inside house you just wait for him to chase you,when he near you,you sleep(Your friend sleep too)when he start go to your bed,you tell your friend to wake up and make him chase you again,repeat that.

Honestly I managed to pass it but when it came to farming for the lanterns I saw a lot of bugs in the cap that damage the experience in Nigthmare making many unable to earn it and I hope they change it for the hof

Is it only me thinking the purple torch part is the hardest
yes it is for me too!
For purple torch, You have to be very familiar with the map surroundings but it is easier to do on solo, sometimes getting chased can be a good thing as u can direct the grin demon to anywhere u want easily. For me, I usually camp on the rightmost room until I get 2 sticks. Grin demon should teleport there by then. I’ll then run back to spawn. After a while, I’ll move to leftmost room and then the room further down the left area that has the big space with purple torch. I’ll then feed 3 sticks to the guy and get my first torch. So now I’ll need 2 more torches. After getting my first torch lit and item collected, I’ll immediately move straight and this part, I’ll ironically move to a dead end on the left side when u face the end of the tunnel.(not the end of tunnel but the left side before it). I’ll go grab the stick there and run back out. If the grin demon is after me, I’ll have that torch to suffice. I can then just run to the previous big room and get the last item, feed it, then get the last torch. This is where u should start getting chased and u can kill the grin demon, opening the exit.

If i'm being honest, most parts are really easy if you know the tricks. But for the chase parts that requires opening doors, it's really an inconvenience for me because on mobile you have to tap and hold the screen to open doors (meaning it makes your roblox character stop and become idle in the process), this also applies the same when you're in the boss fight and tries to grab the katanas 😕
They really need to add an interact button near our sprint or crouch button because it’s too much of a pain to open the doors or getting katanas perfectly without getting hit or even die from shinigami trials
Took me 2 hours for me and my friend to do normal and he sped run nightmare on his own.

Actually pretty simple, I have it memorized. when you see cubes fall in front of you and him spawning there just turn around and head into a new red room that appeared, for the second one when he appears in front just run right into a hallway, and for the 3rd time just run left until your at the end, also keep walking until you fall at the end since there’s an invisible barrier by the front hole.
