Tips on the playground part. (except for the note section)
1) Don't hesitate or delay yourself from exploring the Map.
- Pretend that this is Control Ch4, but except you aren't slaying hearts.
- Find hiding spots to avoid getting caught.
- Atleast stay aware of you're surroundings, mother is somewhere.
- Feel like you're a professional wandering the map.
2) Make sure there will be a cabin/hiding spot near your area.
- Camp if you're cautious. (This doesn't break the first tip.)
3) Don't try to outrun the Mother longer.
- Mother is faster on Nightmare so make sure you found your hiding spot before Mother caught you.
- If you're really near a hiding spot, get in.
- If you're not, then good luck.
4) Hide in certain places.
- There are buildings that does have hiding spots and have not.
- Mother can get inside, only if she sees you inside, so you're safe if Mother is unaware that you're inside of one of the buildings.
5) Chihiro only hides once in that certain place.
-Means it can't hide twice in that same place or position.
6) Don't be scared.
- It only loses the potential of seeking faster and makes the game longer.
- Don't hide yourself longer on any hiding spots, go out if the Mother goes away from you.
- If you get caught, avoid her at any cost. But don't be scared, you have sprint.
7) Don't be a risk-taker.
- Stay cautious of you're surroundings.
- Don't be too much of a pro, this isn't a speedrun, unless you are.
- Hide, don't wander or outrun longer.
- Limit yourself of seeking or wander outside where mother lurks.
8) Limit your sprint.
- If mother is away from you, if you know, you have the chance to walk around, but also limit yourself of walking because mother is around and has time to sprint with full stamina. (Don't outrun her longer)
9) Improve yourself until you're good at it.
- Practice makes it perfect.

We beat this with an AFK guy and a sabotager which got me killed. Good thing our last guy did the Nagisa Phase 2.

increasing your graphics can also make the map darker, if ur graphics isnt that high then it might not be that dark
Nice going! I manage to beat it with 0 deaths, no extra lives. I currently have the ponpon and the nagisa lantern, which got after making 1005 in one run and then 1740 coins in one run. One more to go and this will be a good time.

the only thing u probably got to worry about is the meat restaurant and the playground, maybe even sequence 1 & 2 of the ship part, because when you think abt it most is like somewhat a puzzle rather than the usual maze-chasing andrenaline.
No the meat restaurant and the playground are really free. The playground one i dont understand why people keep lying its hard. I did it first try and it was very easy but just time taking and patience was the key. The last 2 ship parts are the most difficult. Very Unstable
@@iSeanQu The Playground might be a bit hard bc there's an instant where you will lose the ability to hear Mother's Footsteps in the playground and u will lose the ability to be aware of where the threat is, It's a bug and the player meets their demise if they aren't fast enough to hide.

bro... i just wanted to grind for coins. I did not expect to have to play an hour straight. This guy completed this in 44 minutes and he's experienced. I can only imagine how long it would take me

You’re very good at The Mimic. I can solo everything except for the part where you have to find the little girl (Chihiro).
Edit: In the part with Chihiro, is it the same for every player??? Because if it is. Then those spots where you found her would be really helpful.

Ik this is so common but this are the tips that helped me to beat the playground part
(it would be better if u play with friends)
:high up ur volume
(and trust ur instinct)
:dont be scared just roam around the forest
:ask ur friends to distract the mother
:be confident and have some patience

its actually not that hard, u just need to stand at the end of the ship and wait for her attacks. If she does her fish flopping attack and u get hit from it, run to the other side and stay there.

Do you guys have any advice for the hide and seek part? I always get there in NM and die. Mother is extremely fast and always camps. I'm fine with the other parts. It's the hide and seek part that always kills me.
I just get the person you have to find then hide until mother passes
Tip #1: Make sure you're aware of your surroundings and make sure the area you're in has a closet near it.
Tip #2: Make sure to hear for the mothers footsteps if you hear it near you, you should go in the closet but once it fades you can go away
Tip #3: Don't race Mother and don't take unnecessary risks.
I actually wanted to just complete book 2 chapter 2 in the mimic and I got to the end (nagisa phase 1) so I was celebrating, but then THERE WAS A PHASE 2 (nagisa the serpent) so in total, it took me 2hours to complete the chapter.
2hrs is pretty good, It took me 6hrs to complete with a teammate! 😭

So when she does the ray beam attack (first phase) you just shoot her and not run? I got to that part on nightmare in like 20-30 minutes but died because I legitimately did not understand that. Thanks man!
when shes right from lil house (not swimming, just standing there and preparing to attack) look which one shes doing if shes licking her face go to cannon and shoot if not wait until beam is gone

@@MichaelMikeMIchael Go to left side of ship nose ( left from lil house ) and memorize her attacks ( especially where she stops to make the progress faster. When ur a ship nose the only attack that can hit u ( if u standing correctly) is like acid spits (black balls). Also u cannot use cannon on 2nd phase , only saber.
she will usually pop out from the middle of the ship to reel her head back before lasering.Thats a cue for u to run away to the end of the ship.
Tip:if your playing with other ppl and you dont know where to go to chase II you can follow their lanterns (besides if they are equiping them)
Another tip:is when you hear footsteps on the meat part hide in locker or a hole in the wall( also tables)
Another tip: if your getting chased by mother and theres no locker near you run to the spawn mother cant go there
Another tip again : in the notes part quicky print a map of chihiros playground (beside if its a map or just a playground)
Last tip : you can pass the bones of jikinikniki foods

Here is a tip that I have done for completing the playground with other players so have someone stay at the playground where the cutscene takes place and have the others split up to find it then when the mother is near you make her chase you and run back to the part where you’re at she can’t go to the playground part so while you’re distracting her have others find the girl

I’m not gonna lie ch 2 is the easiest chapter in all of mimic I didn’t die once on my first attempt and I didn’t know nothing about the chapter

Its a math japanese equation basiclly find the 2 correct symbols to put the 2 missing equations The number down right of the Japanese letters as u explore is the number. Also some walls u explore u may see japanese letters If u look a bit down on the right of the letters it shows the number example 4. The symbols in short letters is the number meaning also the japanese letters limit for the equation is 1 - 9. Theres no 10 And the middle thing is If u check in the beginning before opening the door and see the Example the middle letter is the Number in the question , You need to solve the 2 letters already in the 1 equation circles and once u got the Missing one Add it up And think of it in total by normal numbers adding like 3 + 2 + 1 and thats 6 but just a example also Its random. then u repeat the other equation , Once u got the missing 2 symbols on equation .1 and 2. Then u did it u got to the cooking part (Zuboshi's feast.) Edit : Don't mind if my grammar is a bit odd 😃😭

Why does Kurayami’s (mother’s) sound sometimes disappear. I died on nightmare because of that a few times. I just hate when that happens
you mean her chase theme? Only activates when she's really near you

just a tip: stay in the locker until she past by, go to the opposite of where she was going
and if you get chased the momment you got out,run back to the locker, but if after a few seconds when you got out, run to the other lockers if you want to progress. That's what I did to pass the stage

That is normal, the first days when chapter 2 came out, the sea serpert wasn’t there but when nightmare realeased, it also released nagisa the sea serpent for both nightmare and normal

This took him only 44 minutes but it took me and A GROUP OF FRIENDS a whole ass hour to beat the normal version
Took me and my friend a whole 2 and a half and nearly 3 hours to nearly beat the chapter and then my friend got disconnected at the final part.

Control 1 : Yall try to investigate searching for ur old friends but u realized that u are in an abandoned school
And trying to survive
Control 2,: u realized that has been the mimic was ur virtual life and it forms again and try to survive
Control 3 : u realized that the strings is pulling behind everything
Control 4 : will u survive or be a mindless puppet forever
Jealousy 1: u are a dective hei’g unable to accept ur brother and its time to take ur matters in to ur own hands
Jealously 2 : after an unfortunate event u discover that sea of Jealously was connected to ur brothers death
Tip : if u play these chapters u may have to train and revise ur stamina and announce a walk through of survival
2nd tip: make sure u use stamina,survival,solving,collector. These are the things u may use as u prefer
