the SELECTAMATIC range was launched 50 years ago. This event
brought together enthusiasts from many different countries to share
the celebrations.

We owned the Red 990, 1967 1200, 1970 1200, 1976 1212, and 1975 1412. They were all the most wonderful and reliable tractors! My favourite one was the David Brown 1412!

Still using on farm an 1965 DB Implematic with 12 speed g/box option and rare optional power steering, supplied by Days machinery in Casino NSW Australia.
Rust free and first time starter after 58 years, our property's modern computer controlled tractors are far less reliable and won't see anywhere near this life although an old 570 Cummins powered Case Industrial loader is doing pretty well!

I have an 880 selectomatic and a 995 - I am looking at buying another possibly a 990 - Oh and my name is David Brown too lol! I belong to a local David Brown club in Ontario, Canada. The one built in the 70s were probably the best quality.
