Amazing Birds @ Mei Po Nature Reserve Hong Kong 米埔自然保護區

Mai Po isrecognised as a Wetland of International Importance under the prestigious Ramsar Convention. It has been a paradise for birds and houses over 55,000 migrating birds which travel between northern China, Mongolia, Siberia, Southeast Asia and Australia.

But, unfortunately, the number of birds in Mai Po is decreasing in past years and the Hong Kong Government is apparently doing nothing to protect the ecological environment of this valuable wetland.
