Hey there everyone!
Another fun video today & it's closely related to a previous one where I showed you $500 worth of homage watches that, if they were their real "luxury brand" counterparts, would cost in excess of $85,000.
One of those watches featured was the Pagani Design PD-1644 which is a homage to the Rolex Daytona. For this video, I picked up both the black & white dial versions so we could "see them in the flesh" together.
In terms of specifications, you are getting a 316L case & bracelet, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel & 100m of water resistance. Inside the watch is a Seiko VK64 Mecha-Quartz Movement which provides quartz accuracy & reliability but with a chronograph movement that operates in a manner not too dissimilar to a mechanical chronograph.
Overall, at $70 approximately, the watch has very few negatives. The only real gripe is going to be that lume...it's just not very good!

Just picked this exact model in black dial on sale for 40$ Australian dollars and I think I won’t have any regrets even if I won’t like it in person these watch and I’ll just gift it to my family member.

Just had the white dial version arrive. Bought during the latest AExpress sale from the same store. Mine has the disco laser holographic etching on the case back and the sub dials. I’m not a fan of that particular “feature”. Having lived in China I can easily understand the penchant for the holographic element. They love that stuff. Oh well! It’s a very nice watch overall .. and it went straight onto a black/ grey nato strap for me. The included steel bracelet is a bit of a shiny scratch monster. If only they added a blue AR coating and added a domed sapphire crystal.. I’d have very been happy to have paid more to have that. I’ll probably gift this one away at some point .. as the black dial V4 PD1701 is getting most of my wrist time lately. Nice concise review.. Cheers!

These are great cheap Pagani watches. Own both white and black dial version and tempted to get the paul newman but still holding back for now as these watches arent getting much wrist time

VK64 does NOT have a second complication in the centre. This is VK63 ... just an oversight

HI friend! Buy the same watch and the larger second hand does not move as do 2 of the smaller indicators (left and right). The hours show normally as do the date and seconds of the smaller dial. Do you know what it could be? thanks

Send it back. Or if you have a watchmaker nearby, ask them to check the hands and stem. There may be a misalignment issue...sorry to hear that mate

Its a slave of the main hour dial. Main hour hand is 12 hours. 24 dial is military time.

Great looking watch, I have the "Newman" version. My only issue is that the hour and minute hands can get lost in the busy dial. But then, that is more my eyesight than the watch's fault.
