  • We start off with a variety of passenger services at Cock Lane including class 47 City of Truro with a light engine move from Peterborough to Leicester LIP. Then moving on to Lincoln Road and Hurn Road where we see a lot of freight and some weekend ECML diverted services via the Joint Line including a pair of West Coast Railway class 47's top 'n' tailing on a Scarborough to Ely private charter.

Great variety captured from a number of vantage points Mick.

Thank you for watching Christopher. Vantage points are running out a bit but it is nice to get some video from the usual places looking through the trees without the leaves on them.

Another great video of what's passed recently. I guess you will be busy this upcoming weekend with the steamers 👍🏻😁

Hopefully, at least this time I won't get caught out being in the wrong place as the overground route at Werrington is still blocked so it has got to be a dive under run.

Another cracking video thank you. Should be a quiet time in December around the junction?

The start of the month should see slightly more trains. The ECML Up Slow has re-opened today after a week of closure and there should be more on the Stamford lines now that the bridge has been repaired at South Luffenham. Shorter daylight hours means less opportunity to get out though. Thank you for watching and commenting Andy.

Nice tight editing. Strange to see such a variety of users on the Up Main and the Spalding dmu in the dive under when it is usually on the ( bi- drectional) Up Slow.. The 91 + rake in Swallow livery never fails to please.

The bi-directional has been closed for the past week due to the trackbed being renewed south of Walton footbridge, so everything due to go via the Joint Line has been using the dive under, plus we had the added diversions from the ECML the previous weekend when the crossover at Werrington Junction was replaced. The first half of the video shows the many different liveries there are of all companies passenger trains. The surprise was a EMR two car class 170 in white coming out of the dive under and a EMR three car class 170 in purple on the Liverpool to Norwich service, both of which I had not seen before.

@@werringtonjunction Thanks. 3 car 170's to Norwich from Nottingham etc were promised and were overdue as the 158 had become tiresomely noisy - by comparison, of course. I am told that the loadings on the Lumo have held up well and further depleted the numbers on the Edinburgh to Heathrow route. Nice to have a few drivers in the 66s recognise and acknowledge you. TC

@@tomcarr1358 Thank you for that information on the 170's Tom.
