What a fun book, and I love the freebie you received also. I saw many fun finishes in the book and am going to see if I can purchase one. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Edited to add that I just ordered my copy. Can't wait to receive it!!!!
Hi Carolyn! So many beautiful designs! I really like the one about the cookies (cookie jar) and the watercolor one. And, of course, the front cover. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the flip through. There are a lot of charts in there that I love. Need to find out how much the book with shipping will be going to Canada. Happy stitching!
I've stitched several charts from the Craftways Christmas books over the last few years. I check them out from my library. This year's looks great! I like a lot of the charts in it. Thanks for the flip thru.
I think this is by far the best book in years. Definitely something for everyone. I really enjoyed the flip-through & the finishing ideas as well. Thank you.
It was fun seeing projects we’ve been introduced to through the years. I remember watching you when you bought your house and I can’t believe that much time has passed. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to do a bat emoji on my phone.
I received my book today too and enjoyed flipping through it along with you. Holiday Skaters is beautiful and reminds me a little of Mini Marvels. I am definitely Team Book Sniffer! 😊
Some fun patterns in this year's book. I also need to go back through some of my older books and see if any of those patterns need to move into my rotation. We have such a wealth of things to stitch, and I can be easily distracted by all of the new releases!
What fabulous charts. So many to choose from and some really original finishes. Btw I have been skiing about 25 years ago and our sons, who were about 11 and 9, reckoned I was the only person going uphill! It wasn’t for me but apres ski is fun. Thank you for the flip through.
I just got mine as well. So many good projects again this year. Currently stitching a project from the 2025 calendar and about to put the finishing touches on a piece from last year's Christmas book. I do really enjoy getting both items every year. I'm a book smeller to!
Thanks for the flip through the cover looks like a winter version of a chart in Cross Stitcher June #409, animals having a picnic, in case anyone looking for a companion piece. Just checked was done by same designer❤
I thought they'd skipped me this year! I just got mine too. Planning to do all the ones in the extra flyer we got! I can't decide which ones to stitch this year - I'm going to have to really spend time with each one to decide. So many I like this year!
I am in big trouble! Huge! There are so many designs in this book. I could probably stitch out of it for five years. And yes, I smell books too. My girls used to laugh at me because I could tell if their school course was going to be easy or hard by the smell of the book, no explanation for that, but I did have 100% accuracy. Nope I am not a skier. I am not the most graceful or coordinated person out there. That little village would look outstanding on the shelving behind you! I think that DoreneJones bookshop is going to be a must for me along with many many others! I cannot wait to get my copy!
LOVE the book but honestly, they are just so hard to get a hold of in Europe! I have been able to purchase the previous ones but no idea how to get this one....
Hi friend! Absolutely adore the cover photo! Very much something I would stitch. Lorrie from Cross Stitch, Cats and Chaos said her book smelled like paprika. The Cookie Café is cute as well. Wow, 3 Kings is stunning. Bough Tie Beauty is sweet. French knots in Kreinik do not sound like fun at all and I would replace them with beads as well. Nice book overall. Dawn
Hi Carolyn. I love both McKinnon pieces, the Congdon tree, pillow with bow, main street buildings... So many great charts in this book! I hope to buy it this year. Thank you for doing the flip through! 😁⚘️
Since I have just rejoined the cross stitching group I have a question. Has anyone ever spent an entire year stitching Christmas? If you have a book like that or years worth of magazines, you could certainly find enough designs to stitch for a year but I wonder if anyone has done it. Carolyn, I am watching and listening to you and thinking, yes, she could find plenty of patterns to stitch all year ….. 😊😅😂
I just finished a Dimensions kit called TimelessTreasures. It took a year working from March 2023 to March 2024, so ,yes, I have stitched Christmas all year!
Just a head's up for your "international" watchers (Canada included) Craftways will not ship to anywhere but the USA. You will have to find this on a secondary site. Sigh
I have to smell every book and magazine!!!
Oh my gosh, that is a fabulous book!
I don't do much seasonal stitching, because I have to put them away. Lolol. But that cover scene just calls to me! Thanks for the survey of the book!
Now I just have to find a copy of JCS 409?

I love this book, so many gorgeous patterns xx
Wow. Great book. Love the little house scenes.
The very first thing I do when I get a new book is smell it!! So satisfying! Maybe it is a teacher thing… thank you for a great flip-through!
Not a teacher here. Love to smell the books. Not all have that smell though 😢
I do the SAME thing! 😂 New books, notebooks, coloring books, u name it...if it's a new book I gotta smell it 😂 Books, and new Crayola crayons 😊
@@StitchinwLooYes!! Me too!! ❤
@@lesliejenkins7968I’m always disappointed when a new book doesn’t have that smell!
Love this book!! Thanks for the flip through. ❤

Thank you for doing this. I loved it.
Love this book, so many projects.
I liked so many designs in it. What a shame it isn't easy to get a copy of that book to Europe.
This is the best book thT has been put out in a while. Love the Nordic and scandanavian designs especially!
It was fun seeing projects we’ve been introduced to through the years. I remember watching you when you bought your house and I can’t believe that much time has passed. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to do a bat emoji on my phone.
Lots of great stuff in that book!
Thank you for sharing this book with us each year! 🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄

Great book, but, I really enjoy your reactions to the charts. Thanks for sharing. 😂

Love the cover pattern. Thanks for sharing
This book is great, really cute charts. What is up with this heat? I'm in Salem, OR, for a month. I hope it cools down soon.

So many lovely charts!!!! So which one are you starting????? hee hee
Wow - I wish it was easier to get these without having to be on their mailing list each year. This is one of the best ones! 🪡👠
❤❤ Hello Everyone ❤❤
Hi Carolyn. I love both McKinnon pieces, the Congdon tree, pillow with bow, main street buildings... So many great charts in this book! I hope to buy it this year. Thank you for doing the flip through! 😁⚘️
I want this, do you know where we can buy this internationally?

FYI...I called the customer service number and could not purchase the book. They are payments customer service.
2024 doesn't yet show up for purchase.
Love this book. Will dedinitely be making a phone call tomorrow.

Thank you for the book flip through. It's always fun to see what's new. But I have to say nothing in that book excites me, so I would not buy it.
