That’s exactly what was making me nervous 😬 also I have been pressing on it with full force, and I am pressing on it with normal rate belts is playing an inch free play. Maybe 🤔 tensioner on serpentine belt is wearing off, it has factory manufactured on it right now
@@karp8231 I did some research and talked with some mechanics and found out that there 2 types of fans, electric driven and viscous coupling fan. Mine is viscous coupling fan, and it has mechanism that stops running the air when engine is cold but mine has that defect which keeps fan running all the time, it’s still ok to drive it in this condition but not recommended during winter freezing cold time. That will be good another diy video 😅
@@karp8231 thank you for bringing this issue, if you did not mention it, I would not think about it since it always been like this since I bought the truck 🤜🤛
Totally agree, I am trying to find better spot for GoPro on my hat and so far latest video worked little bit better, for sure still there are a lot of space for improvement, thank you for your comment 🙌
Been trying to put that one on for 2 days I’m starting to think I got the wrong belt or the new pillow and tensioner aren’t correct they are aftermarket lol

Great job buddy!
Thank you 🙏 thanks to my dad’s push to DIY I have to do it 😆
All I learnt that the coolant reservoir is on the top & nice weather 😅
🤣🤣🤣 I truly need to remake this video!
Can I get the part numer for the 2 belts
So in order to replace the serpentine belt you have to remove the fan belt first??
I got 2018 vnl with d13.
Is fan suppose to spin freely like that? Mine is super tight can't move it at all.

@@beksexp3716 So it should be tight? Maybe it is bad fan clutch?

Do you have the Volvo Belt number for the Alternator ?
Sorry I do not have it, but you can give a call to any Volvo and provide your truck VIN and get the part number you need.
Can’t see a thing that you have done just heard you talking lol
