For those who doesn't know what this verse says. When Arjun says I don't want any wealth after killing my brothers in this war and i would rather choose to lose and live my life in exile. Krishna says these people are already dead (He is talking about Multiverse that it's a circle and it has happened many times before and will happen more in future, the universe starts with the Bramha's morning and it ends or gets distroyed in night and the next morning again the universe starts and everything that has happened, happens again). So you should not quit in this war because Its not that if you won't fight hen they won't die. They will still die. You are fighting for truth and good cause when they are fighting for wrong, ego and injustice. You are a khatriya and your job is to fight not give up. You have right to your job not to its fruit or result (Karma kar, fal Ki Chinta mat kar ) The verse doesn't say go and kill people or relatives. It says Arjun, you just focus on your job and not on the result. You will only bring shame to your family name by not fighting in this war.if you lose then you will die as a warrior and if you win then you will enjoy all wealth but not fighting will only bring shame to your family so you fight without worrying about the results.

What was Mahabharat??? Mahabharat is not just the story of Pandavas vs Kauravas , it is not just about Duryodhan vs Bhima, it is not about who was the greatest archer Karna or Arjuna, it is not just the story of Sakuni’s revenge from Hastinapur, it is not just about the fascination of Dronacharya towards his son Aswathama, it is not just about the Bhisma’s pledge and his sacrifices, it is way more than that. Mahabharat is the story of desire, it is a story of a vengeance, it is story about the importance of a good character over good future. It is story of good vs bad, it is a story about talent of Karna vs the tradition of being a King if your father is king. It is story which tells that no matter how much capable you are how strong you are (like Bhisma) if you cant take decision for what is right and what is wrong then your capability is of no use. It is also the story of Bhisma’s helplessness , it is story which describes the difference between disenchant and love, it is story of Draupadi who was a warrior without a weapon, it is also the story which describes the importance of friendship which Karna and Aswathama showed towards Duryodhan, even though Karna knew that Duryodhan is wrong but just because Duryodhan gave him the respect and honor which Karna always wanted, so Karna dedicated his entire loyalty towards his friend even after knowing that he is Kunti’s son, he didn’t change his decision. Mahabharat also tells us that if you earn a knowledge just to prove yourself the greatest then surely your knowledge will be useless one day, the same what happened with Karna. The lord Parshuram didn’t actually curse Karna, it was the ideology which is a universal truth set by Lord Vishnu himself. Mahabharat is also the story of a Dhritrashtra, who was not just blind because of his eyes but also blind in his love towards his son. His one order and decision for what is right would have saved many lives but he didn’t. Dhritrashtra never accepted his flaws and was so greedy for throne that he never admitted that the throne never belonged to him, so he always wanted his son to be the next King because he knew the importance of throne and power. Mahabharat is also the story of Kunti’s lifelong struggle to get the respect and right which she and her sons should have got. So, Mahabharat is indeed a story of greed, conspiracy, desire, revenge and a very deep and dirty politics. That’s why it is called as the mother of all conspiracies, mother of all battles and mother of all politics. What was the reason of Mahabharat War?? The reason of Mahabharat war is not just one but many. It was not just the endless battle between Bhima and Dhuryodhan, it was not just about Hastinapur next King.The reason was rather more serious, it was Draupadi’s insult which was the seed of this war, it was the ability of three greatest warriors Karna, Bhisma and Guru Drona who could have won any battle on this planet, and Duryodhan having these three on his side and it gave him the confidence that Pandavas can never beat him. This battle was the consequence of the politics and the vengeance planned by Sakuni against Hastinapur when his beloved sister Gandhari who was claimed to be the most beautiful girl on the planet of that time was married to a blind guy rather than Paandu. We can call Mahabharat as the result of Sakuni’s plot to make his nephew as the successor of Hastinapur just because Duryodhan’s dad was the acting King. Mahabharat would have been avoided in many ways but it was indeed the destiny of all the odds that happened with Pandavas and all the consipiracy. Lord Vishnu’s incarnation as Krishna was only meant for Kansh’s killing and his end was fixed through Gandhari’s curse and because of this he entered the Mahabharat story and he would have got Gandhari’s curse only when he plans Kauravas 100 son’s death. He actually had nothing to do with Mahabharat, it was lord Vishnu who planned everything prior and just became a mentor for Pandavas side because Pandavas were on side of righteousness. The war was needed so that people again realize the importance of Dharma, it was needed to make them understand about the value of truth, the value of basic principles of our life, it was needed to let everyone know that no matter how strong side the evil has, truth always wins, dharma always wins over injustice, excellence is always better than greatest. The war was needed to tell us about the importance of Karma (doings, deed), it tells us that nothing is more important than our Karma. Mahabharat tells us that no one can plan his/her future, only our own Karma can. It tells us that no wealth and army is enough to save you when you are against Dharma(righteousness). It tells us that vengeance is never a solution for any thing, it is rather digging your own grave. For those who doesn't know what this verse says.
When Arjun says I don't want any wealth after killing my brothers in this war and i would rather choose to lose and live my life in exile. Krishna says these people are already dead (He is talking about Multiverse that it's a circle and it has happened many times before and will happen more in future, the universe starts with the Bramha's morning and it ends or gets distroyed in night and the next morning again the universe starts and everything that has happened, happens again). So you should not quit in this war because Its not that if you won't fight hen they won't die. They will still die. You are fighting for truth and good cause when they are fighting for wrong, ego and injustice. You are a khatriya and your job is to fight not give up.
You have right to your job not to its fruit or result (Karma kar, fal Ki Chinta mat kar )
The verse doesn't say go and kill people or relatives.
It says Arjun, you just focus on your job and not on the result. You will only bring shame to your family name by not fighting in this war.if you lose then you will die as a warrior and if you win then you will enjoy all wealth but not fighting will only bring shame to your family so you fight without worrying about the results.
It's not "if u win you will enjoy your wealth" it's about " If you win you will establish dharma and continue to be karma yogi"

What was Mahabharat???
Mahabharat is not just the story of Pandavas vs Kauravas , it is not just about Duryodhan vs Bhima, it is not about who was the greatest archer Karna or Arjuna, it is not just the story of Sakuni’s revenge from Hastinapur, it is not just about the fascination of Dronacharya towards his son Aswathama, it is not just about the Bhisma’s pledge and his sacrifices, it is way more than that.
Mahabharat is the story of desire, it is a story of a vengeance, it is story about the importance of a good character over good future.
It is story of good vs bad, it is a story about talent of Karna vs the tradition of being a King if your father is king.
It is story which tells that no matter how much capable you are how strong you are (like Bhisma) if you cant take decision for what is right and what is wrong then your capability is of no use.
It is also the story of Bhisma’s helplessness , it is story which describes the difference between disenchant and love, it is story of Draupadi who was a warrior without a weapon, it is also the story which describes the importance of friendship which Karna and Aswathama showed towards Duryodhan, even though Karna knew that Duryodhan is wrong but just because Duryodhan gave him the respect and honor which Karna always wanted, so Karna dedicated his entire loyalty towards his friend even after knowing that he is Kunti’s son, he didn’t change his decision.
Mahabharat also tells us that if you earn a knowledge just to prove yourself the greatest then surely your knowledge will be useless one day, the same what happened with Karna. The lord Parshuram didn’t actually curse Karna, it was the ideology which is a universal truth set by Lord Vishnu himself.
Mahabharat is also the story of a Dhritrashtra, who was not just blind because of his eyes but also blind in his love towards his son. His one order and decision for what is right would have saved many lives but he didn’t. Dhritrashtra never accepted his flaws and was so greedy for throne that he never admitted that the throne never belonged to him, so he always wanted his son to be the next King because he knew the importance of throne and power.
Mahabharat is also the story of Kunti’s lifelong struggle to get the respect and right which she and her sons should have got.
So, Mahabharat is indeed a story of greed, conspiracy, desire, revenge and a very deep and dirty politics. That’s why it is called as the mother of all conspiracies, mother of all battles and mother of all politics.
What was the reason of Mahabharat War??
The reason of Mahabharat war is not just one but many.
It was not just the endless battle between Bhima and Dhuryodhan, it was not just about Hastinapur next King.The reason was rather more serious, it was Draupadi’s insult which was the seed of this war, it was the ability of three greatest warriors Karna, Bhisma and Guru Drona who could have won any battle on this planet, and Duryodhan having these three on his side and it gave him the confidence that Pandavas can never beat him.
This battle was the consequence of the politics and the vengeance planned by Sakuni against Hastinapur when his beloved sister Gandhari who was claimed to be the most beautiful girl on the planet of that time was married to a blind guy rather than Paandu. We can call Mahabharat as the result of Sakuni’s plot to make his nephew as the successor of Hastinapur just because Duryodhan’s dad was the acting King. Mahabharat would have been avoided in many ways but it was indeed the destiny of all the odds that happened with Pandavas and all the consipiracy.
Lord Vishnu’s incarnation as Krishna was only meant for Kansh’s killing and his end was fixed through Gandhari’s curse and because of this he entered the Mahabharat story and he would have got Gandhari’s curse only when he plans Kauravas 100 son’s death. He actually had nothing to do with Mahabharat, it was lord Vishnu who planned everything prior and just became a mentor for Pandavas side because Pandavas were on side of righteousness.
The war was needed so that people again realize the importance of Dharma, it was needed to make them understand about the value of truth, the value of basic principles of our life, it was needed to let everyone know that no matter how strong side the evil has, truth always wins, dharma always wins over injustice, excellence is always better than greatest.
The war was needed to tell us about the importance of Karma (doings, deed), it tells us that nothing is more important than our Karma.
Mahabharat tells us that no one can plan his/her future, only our own Karma can.
It tells us that no wealth and army is enough to save you when you are against Dharma(righteousness).
It tells us that vengeance is never a solution for any thing, it is rather digging your own grave.
Love, affection, dharma, compassion and respect can make your impression on anyone rather than creating fear in people’s heart.

Continuing from verse 2.31, Shree Krishna is still giving instructions at the level of occupational duties. He explains to Arjun about the two possibilities arising from the performance of his duty. If Arjun becomes victorious, a kingdom on Earth awaits him, and if he is forced to lay down his life in the discharge of his duty, he will go to the celestial abodes.
