BMW M3 Poly Bushing Install + Measuring Driveshaft For LS3 Swap
Вставка
- Опубліковано 6 бер 2018
- I finally bring in the M3 and remove the rear end so that I can install the new powerflex poly bushings that I got from ECStuning. Then I installed the subfame carrier so that I could measure how much the m3 driveshaft has to be shorten so that it fits the LS3 transmission.

The quality and the amount of work that you two put into this shop for it to run right is awesome, I love both of your channels keep up the great work !
team work makes the dream work!
I like this channel alot, this is a billion times better than those like "supercar blondie" i like women with actual skills.
Nice to see the LS swap coming together...
Every day waiting for this update.
not too many women know how to work on cars like you do selena, but i respect them very very much. and you are doing super great job on this build.
Love the M3! Its gonna be a sweet ride when your finished. Awesome channel!
Nice! Coming along well. Thanks for the shout out :)
Nicely done!
Awesome tutorial wow thanks for the E46. I’m new to this bmw world. You guys makes it so easy to own one. After looking you guys I went and purchased a 2003 330i. Hard to find a two door. Thank again
Gonna be a solid build!! Nice!!
Thanks Edwin!
Hey BMW Selena! Heard about this channel from a shout out @tavarish gave on his wrench every day podcast (episode 9 around 16 mins). Very positive and I love finding quality build channels that do something unique! Definitely subscribed.
Thanks for letting me know! Glad you subscribed!
We replaced the whole rear floor pan on my sons M3 that was real fun but now super strong. I highly recommend beefing this up prior to hp increases!
i did this on my GTI, poly bushing.. it transforms the car when shifting gear... also if you do the suspension setup, car will feel real good when pushing it to its limits, more rigid...
The rubber bushes doent do as well as the polly ones, polly ones feel way better...
Nice vid. alot of work to do this kind of change...
Nice project ! Cant wait to see you driving M3 with LS in it (:
Definitely keep an eye on the powerflex bushings - my car is currently up in the air to replace the black series diff bushing backing out
I had yellow powerflex bushings. I like them because they are not as hard as the AKG 95a durometer bushings.
Unfortunately, the yellow powerflex wear out pretty fast. They won't last but a few years and they need to be replaced. I wish they were more durable.
I decided to remove mine which were totally shot and just put OEM bushings back in.
I MESSED UP THE INSTAGRAM SHOUTOUT IT IS @shawnrphotography

I love ur work. When do u think u'll be finished with the MLS or LSM?
Looking great. Some day I have to do my bushings too. I saw strongflex does have them too. I own a stock e36 325 vert. Is the strongflex quality reaching out for my perpose? Thanks , Dutch regards.
welcom back dear
Hey Selena ive been following you guys for a while but havent asked any technical questions until you guys got the F80. I am considering Poly Trans Bushings for my RWD Stage 2+ F30. Would this be an issue on say the ZF8 auto trans?
U had way to much energy at 5 in the morning girl I’m half dead at 5 am 😂😂
Hahaha I do it for y'all :)
if you can post a how to replace rear wheel bearing on BMW E92 M3 Coupe. That would be awesome. :) Keep up the good work.
Early bird gets the worm! Beavis & Butthead would be proud of your removal methods :D
Buen video como todos los k asen buena suerte.
Gracias!
Just did this like a week back, only reason i got poly is i didnt want the headache of the rubber ones haha
Hahaha I know what you mean
What did you do inside the car when you said the brake lines were released? Do you have to disconnect the hydraulic rear brake lines?
Were you messing with the parking brake lines in the center console doing something to them?
welldone
Woooo new video and first comment
BMWSELENA i like to see the video of the driveshaft cut and alined to weld. I must understand a drive can be clock in machine and weld it stay good without balancing.
sadly there will not be a video on that since I got a company to do it. We did not feel comfortable messing with the driveshafts
I mean if you can film the process at the machine.
Why did you choose yellow for the subframe and black for the diff?
This finish your videos Selena?
hi Selena, love your videos, just a little tip though, wear some safety glasses under the car, always dirt and stuff just waiting to fall in your eyes. Cheers from Australia :)
So whats the durabilty of the drive shaft once cut and refabbed
Can you help me by mistake I put my battery cables backwards and now my car won't start what can I do?
