It could just be a theory, but I think the game buttons are referring to Mel’s experience as a celebrity. “Say they’re demonic” I think is referring to Mel’s general aesthetic for her videos. “Give them long hair” is referring to people hating on her pixie cut and wanted her to keep it long. “Make them tall and skinny” refers to people body shaming her when Portals was released. “Chase them for a photo” refers to people taking pictures of her without even asking first. “Call them a B for being human” refers to Mel setting her boundaries and her “fans” call her rude just for having thoughts and feelings of her own. I also loved the representation of how Mel is being controlled by society, just like how a character is in a video game. And I also think the girl at the end is a toxic, obsessive fan, and when the screen said “Game Over” is represents Mel being her own person and making her own choices, and the toxic fan is very upset about it

The song Tunnel Vision (lyrically) is about being seen as an object for s*x, and acknowledging your own self worth. “I’m more than that”
In the music video, it’s clearly a game. The “fan” at the end is controlling her. This is also a reference to her K-12 song Show & Tell which is completely about being a celebrity. The music video is about toxic fans.
“Say they’re demonic,” because of her new PORTALS era, some people have been calling her a demon just because of the aesthetic and look. “Fill their cup, take their cup away,” I think is the toxic fan supporting her such as buying merch and stuff but all of a sudden stopping (perhaps because they hate the new era.) “Make them tall and skinny,” is more clear with beauty standards. Melanie gained a little weight and *a few* fans have been body shaming her. Same thing with “give them long hair” after she got a pixie cut some toxic people told her she should have never cut it.
“Make them smile all the time” refers to toxic fans that want her to not complain and act like everything is fine. The giving and taking of the flowers can be the same with the cup, manipulators that push and pull. “Chase them for a photo,” obvious enough, paparazzi. Melanie argues against it and won’t let them, and they get very upset at her and “call her a b**ch for being a human. People expect celebrities to be perfect.
Her drowning in her own tears is a reference to the first song in her debut album Crybaby, which in the music video she also drowns in her tears. Anyways, sorry if this is too long I just wanted to help clarify some things! ^^

The part where she’s “drowning in her own tears” is actually I think a reference from her first song from the crybaby album, crybaby where it has Melanie’s character crying and filling up the room with her own tears. I’m suprised I’m a little of the group of people who actually saw that
