Like gurl, this is a life saver, I'm in nail tech school, and the only been telling me to take acrylics off the fake hand with the nipper, like I can't. I been doing wraps on my fake hand to get the acrylic off but my drill is coming in the mail soon, so I'm stoked. Thanks for the tutorial.
I've also used cuticle oil on the nail bed before applying acrylic when I use a form and I keep the acrylic thin. I haven't tried it with gel...I've only used a full cover tip (ticky tac to hold tip in place) for gel. And I use a dedicated brush that's just for my practice hand for my applications of acrylic. The cuticle oil helps me lift the acrylic nail off with a nail tool. And since the nail stays intact for me, I can use the created nail for display.
The ticky tac stuff that I use for hanging posters, etc. works well for me. It let's me take the practice nail off quickly and holds the practice nail on for me in place while I work.
Well in this case it's dificult for gel to adhere to the fake hand. So what I did was prepped the hand as if I was applying acrylic. After I prepped I applied a thin layer of acrylic onto the bed of the fake fingernail. Once that was completed I used a nail form to create the extension for the gel nail design. I hope this can help thank you for watching and thank you for your support!

Where did you buy your drill from? Or any advice on buying a good low price strong drill? Or any brands that are good
The only problem with this method is that you don't get to keep any of your designs. I realize that's the only way you can, so in saying that I would never purchase a hand like this again

I would recommend using sticky tac. It will allow you to remove the nail without damaging both the hand and tip you made. Hope this can help you with your question. Thank you for watching.
