Wow! I'm envious 😁 Violet and Ruby are so smart, well-spoken and cultured. My girls think Marvel rules, and I can't get them to look at anything else twice, they even loved this Eternals movie. So I guess I'll have to try and get a copy of that Uno game now ... won't be that easy here in Germany though 😅 Anyway, thank you for the great review! ❤
Bought my brother the 2nd edition of Uno Ultimate for Christmas just because it looked cool and he likes anything Marvel. The instructions are fairly confusing but after a couple you tube videos and reading the instructions and playing I think we got the hang the hang of it. I say think because the rules aren’t that clear and the videos don’t really clarify anything. Ie. In the 2nd edition you get ITEM cards which are like sub powers. Are they your characters powers or anybody who picks them if they get mixed in the DANGER pile? The rules say to mix them but that doesn’t make sense as one of the game characters ability say you can start with 3 item cards which are that characters item cards. How can you ever start with them if you have to wait to draw them? Do you keep the item cards or burn them after using? Some say to burn them but others don’t. We did find the edition 1 version you show here at 5 Below for $5. Yep, we both bought it with a couple extra decks for $5 each. Why? Because it’s a lot better than regular Uno. It’s really not Uno at all. And it’s Marvel super hero’s. LOL. Oh no, now they have it with 4 DC characters. The fun factor of this game is playing with people who like anime and don’t mind fudging a couple unclear rules. Half the fun was figuring out how to play. It’s actually a very simple game, just weird rules. Maybe by design? It’s not always straight forward saving the world.
Still ridiculous that the mainstream game still doesn't have colour-blind friendly marks at all (the marks at the bottom of the enemies particularly are otherwise featureless rectangles)
I think this game is great because a lot pf kids grow up with Uno. They’ll play this and learn more skills and someday move up to other board games. Kids can trade cards at school.
The art is good? It's yet again reused art from the comics, that we've seen before in Love Letter Marvel, Uno Marvel, Marvel Splendor, etc. This is getting beyond lame. It makes a new game feel not new at all. Further because the art comes from different comic books, it makes the art on the cards look inconsistent. e.g.: Captain Marvel's cards in these seconds: 3:09 - 3:15, or Black Panther 3:30 - 3:39. I'll probably buy it, cuz I'm curious and love the idea and theme, but the reused art is just sad and gives the game a cheap look.
I hate that UNO rule too! It is my biggest hate of the game. The other player yelling "uno" first rule that is. If I do play I add the house rule that if they falsely call uno that they must take 4 cards.
I'm having trouble understanding who is this for. People who like more complex games and Marvel are going to buy Champions and/or Legendary. Meanwhile people who play a lot of Uno are going to take one look at those extra cards/rules and but it back in the closet.
Wow... I saw this being unboxed earlier this morning... That was fast. Going to have to see if the speed of this review has something to do with how quickly it was dismissed.
@8:13 WOW Violet. I can't believe she said that and it stayed in the video. Poor Jimmy is going to need more ice cream.
Damn even Tom was shocked by Violet's savagery 8:13
Very appropriate to have Tom Show up with a Sandman-coloured shirt in a Marvel Review ;)
A Dice Tower seal of approval on an Uno game.... let me look out the window and see if pigs are flying.
Your review convinced me to pick up a copy. It's only $15 anyways. Thanks for the review!

Fantastic! Love the honesty of siblings. Fun review!

Tom giving his kids the stare down, like he's trying to make them feel bad for being cultured LOL ;)
OMG! Loved the shade! Is Jimmy her brother?! LOL
Yes, her younger brother.
The Uno All Wild review motivated me to get a copy of the game.
8:14 Violet is a savage 😂
Not gonna lie, watching this review really made me want to get a copy.

sees another uno variant, meh, sees it has a marvel theme, ohh!? (speaking with an upward inflection)
It is a fun one! Siblings will be siblings ! 😄
I think Tom actually like uno secretly..
I'm not sure you understand collector's. I've already bought multiple boxes for the chase cards.
So brutal violet!
Now I kind of want to know what Violet and Ruby think of even more types of Uno. What do they think of Uno Flip?!
Maybe Tom, Violet and Ruby can do a Top 100 Unos? :)
Poor Jimmy got blasted at 8:13. But what if one day ... Jimmy is running Dice Tower? Just saying.

"enemy and events we put together earlier..." You did? Skipped that step, didn't document the setup, tsk, tsk :P
Its kinda like the Marvel Monopoly. Same game different skin.

Please let the kids give their opinions first
I love this game and i hate regular Uno!

Well, the unboxing actually happened two weeks before the review.
What do you mean it was dismissed they all gave it a pretty good score all things considered.
Wow, a version of Uno that isn't completely terrible? What madness is this?!
Star Wars Uno already exists.
I don’t need you to tell me what “burn the cards” means.
