Does it matter which side of the harness you attach the Grillon device for two leg use? Would it result in the device being upside down if it is on the left side? I notice in this video you have it on your right side.
Mostly :D But not exactly. But maybe if you use a vt prusik knot and a pulley it can be the same use. However not everywhere accepted because of the ansi and en number or something like that...
As far as i understand the main differences between the Grillon and Grigri is: gri gri has a spring loaded cam, and gri gri opens when there is no carabiner through its hole. They are not technically interchangeable, as they have specific design aspects for their intended purposes, though they are very similar devices.
