Why do we pay soo much taxes if we are not getting any facilities in our country?? On every scheme govt is imposing taxes. Exemption investment schemes are now taxable. I don't think with few years there will be any benefits or exemption from taxes. Please elaborate

After thorough study of above new EPF pension plan, my opinion is that it will be only benefited to those who have remaining service period just like 5 to 10 years & not at all to those who already retired or going to be retired within 1 to 2 Years. Because we can't predict our life span confirm. In the event of so, the Govt. will making business with our own hardcore earning.

Sir, I am a retired bank employee. I had also opt for higher pension but due to some mistake in declaration form between Employee & Employer Employer Rejected my form.And when I visited to epfo regional office to modify my mistake then they told me if your form got rejected by field office then you can fill new form after 24 hours and the officer rejected my application form. But now it is more than 15 days but still I am not able to fill the form because there is no such option interface is showing "Rejected by field office".
What to do next please help me!

सर मैं ईपीएफ हायर पेंशन फॉर्म फिल अप करने जा रहा हूं जो चार ऑप्शन है यस और नो करना है पहले वाला तो नहीं होगा काहे के हमारा सर्विस जॉइन हुआ है 2007 के बाकी जो पॉइंट है हमको समझ में नहीं आता है कहां यस करो कहां नो करो काहे के हमारा सीलिंग 2014 से पहले मेरे सारे साडे 6500 हजार सीलिंग पार नहीं हुआ है मेरे सीलिंग 15000 पार हुआ है नवंबर 2019 से और चार नंबर पॉइंट में यस /नौ करो हमारा पीएफ में पूरा राशि है हम अभी तक नहीं रुपया तुला है
Epf में पैसा जमा कराने के साथ ही जब से EPFमें पैसे जमा करना है उसी समय से हमारी पेन्शन भी इंटरेस्ट के साथ करकुले कर जो पेन्शन का एरियर होगा ,पेबेवल EPFको माइनस कर के देखना होगा कि इम्पलाइज द्वारा EPFO को देय है या EPFO द्वारा इम्पलाइज को देय है, सायद इम्पलाइज को कुछ भी देय नहीं होगा बल्कि EPFO द्वारा इम्पलाइज क देय राशि होगी।ऐसा मेरा सोचना है,EPFO को बैलेंस राशि निकाल कर ही इम्पलाइज से लेने के बारे में सोचना चाहिए।
As per my understanding , by reading the circular for extra 1.16% is that if the Employer contribution as per the higher pension scheme (8.33% of the Basic +DA + etc) exceeds Rs 15000/- per month ( the wage ceiling from sept 2019 onward) , then 1.16% of the Employer contribution exceeding Rs 15000/- will be taken into calculation of the amount to be returned to EPFO. For Example- If Basic +DA is = Rs 200000/- Employer contribution is 8.33% of Basic + DA =Rs 16660/-. The amount exceeding 15000/- p.m which is Rs 1660/- will be considered for the 1.16% extra , which amounts to Rs 19.3/- p.m. That is the total employer contribution should now be 16660 (8.33%) + 19.3=16679.3/-. Also the Employer contribution can exceed 15000/- p.m only if the Basic exceed s Rs 180100/- p.m. Please let me know if my understanding is correct .

@@EveryPaisaMattersThe excel sheet that the employer has to upload to validate employees claim has a column where arrears "with interest" have to be entered. It is not possible to upload without filling in this column.

The requirement of the members to contribute at the rate of 1.16% of their salary to the extent such salary exceeds Rs 15,000 a month as an additional contribution under the amended scheme was held to be ultra vires by the Supreme Court. However, the SC suspended the operation of this part of its order for six months. This was done to enable the authorities to make adjustments in the scheme so that the additional contribution can be generated from some other legitimate source within the scope of the EPF Act. It could include enhancing the rate of contribution of the employers. The SC did not speculate on what steps the authorities will take as it would be for the legislature or the framers of the scheme to make necessary amendments. For six months or till an amendment is made, the employees' contribution shall act as a stop-gap measure. The said sum shall be adjustable on the basis of alteration to the scheme that may be made. Till date, there is no clarity provided on what this adjustment will be.

Sir, you have wrong information.
Firstly, The Tax on Interest on Employee's Contribution to EPF will be imposed *Only if Employee's Annual Contribution Exceeds Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.* That means Employee's Contribution Below Rs. 2.5 Lakhs is Tax Free.
Secondly, for Higher Pension, the Amount to be paid will be out of Employer's Contribution and will be Transferred from EPF to EPS Fund.
The question of Tax Imposition does not arise here.
Yes, the Pension to be Received on Retirement will be Taxable. 🙏😊
