I have no TV and only got to see this series by chance, as it was available on DVD at my library here in France. I couldn't stop watching it and I didn't want it to end. Good TV does exist, but it's so, so rare.
No matter how many times I pop this show into the D.V.D. player and watch it, I'll never get tired of it. This show was ahead of its time and I loved every second of minute of it. I wish the people at FOX didn't have to go and throw it under the bus just when it was on the verge of having a much bigger audience, as in: More viewers and fans. Disappointing on the part of the people at FOX.
It's from watching Profit that I think Adrian Pasdar would make an excellent Grand Admiral Thrawn character in a Star Wars movie (if they ever choose to make a movie of that part from Star Wars). The ultimate Anti-hero.
I love this show. I was 15 or 16 when this aired but I remember it to this day. Must have been really brilliant. I was just thinking today let's find it and here I am ! And by the way anyone knows why was it cancelled?
@BlakeVII US is region 1 DVDs... If the UK which I think is considered region 2 doesn't have a version there's not much that can be done, except: On Amazon, buy a US DVD player (region 1 DVD). Then get the Profit complete series box set. You're fixed up!

No here's what they need to do is RESURRECT The series of PROFIT, b/c shows just like it are huge hits --- DEXTER for instance... even if PROFIT didn't seem to show him killing people, he apparently was willing to do so... it was on way before it's time, so it needs to be revamped, revisited... resurrect PROFIT!!
looking it up, it looks like it started in 2011 and has a GIRL as the lead? sigghhh please tell me the series is actually GOOD compared to PROFIT, because if NOT it just makes me wanna PUKE... :( such sad face at the taste of execs these days, man. seriously. all I want is entertaining television unbabyfied for ADULTS who don't care to see & hear morbid, crass, sickening & even perverted topics. jease man lol seriously?!
