We have a jackery also thanks for sponsoring Tiny Shiny Home. Kreg where are you when they are going to need you so much for the indoor details, cabinets, pocket holes galore!
It is a good experience for your kids to learn how to be builders, these experiences shows they can be independant in life. Good job parenting you two!
Wow. You have just reduced the long runs of wall bags by a tremendous amount. I think that's a good thing...is it? And I just have to comment on seeing more of Jax recently. He was conspicuously absent for a long time, and I've missed his sense of humor and antics. Nice to see you back, Jax.
Love all the windows! This place is going to be a Maaterpiece. If I was 30 years younger!! Go go go. Y’all are artists. Don’t think it doesn’t show. Love that you have some help!!! Angels watch over y’all!! Such sweet people!❤
As long as you can maintain structural integrity, there is no such thing as too many windows! Houses need light. Where you are, you don't have to worry about curtaining out the neighbors, so....let the sunshine in! The new tools are amazing. The kitties are graceful and amazing. That one litte guy is obviously a favorite. The tortie is a lovely girl...I could watch them all day.
Wow…it’s looking fabulous. I can picture all the streaming sunsets coming through, plus, your bottles. So much thought and beauty has been put into your home. Always enjoy seeing the kids out learning and helping.
I’m glad to see you let the kids be part of the real building of your home. I know I started at 7 yrs old nailing cedar shacks on the roof . And I know your dad had you right beside him too. 👍👍👀
I’m so glad you added windows! I was looking at the long wall so many times thinking that’s going to be very dark. We don’t have enough windows in our house so I agree, you can never have enough windows!
Do you remember how much faster the outer wall went up on the chicken garden because of the large screen windows? I do! Guys! This house build is gonna FLY now thanks to all those windows!! 🙌🏻❤️✨😂 Love you all and it’s looking amazing!!!!
It's awesome that your children are learning to use the power tools. I started at 12 using power tools while building houses with my Grandfather, and he taught me everything I know. Your home is beautiful and as a family you work well together!
Love your channel-also your banter back and forth, but I do agree with Jonathon on the two windows-mud room and kids bathroom would look nice and symmetrical if they were both bottle windows with an operable window on top!!! HOUSE is looking AWESOME!!! You guys have come sooooooo far!♥️
I love the design with so many windows , this brought this circular home into a Light embracing Art. I can see bottles bringing in Color. I myself have East facing prisms suspend in a mobile catching the morning light with colors that spin. My west facing window allows the sunset colors. So design can bring peace and harmony.
I joined you just after you had built your first building. I have watched the children grow up and just generally adopted you as part of my extended family. I look forward to each video.😊❤
I love the fact that you’re doing the feng shui. I am a feng shui consultant out of Chicago and I would love to give you any peace.❤❤❤ but actually you’re doing it right
The explanation of the interior and the bottles put it in perspective and I think it is going to be beautiful, going to be on the cover of many magazines!!!😮😮🎉
I love that the young people are learning the power tools! Learning how to read a tape measure is a good learning tool also, you can even teach fractions with a tape measure. I had my own second power drill when I was only 12 years old. and I got a jigsaw for Christmas when I was 14.
That Jackery is absolutely amazing! We recently bought a smaller, 2000 Jackery, and love how much we can do with it and the 1000 w we already have. We use it for camping mostly, but it's awesome how they are responding to the needs of off-grid people. It's super to watch you and all the family working to build your dreams!
8:14 see it as part of the teaching process. It's great that you measured correctly but even better that the people working with you can see what they are aiming for, so that any mistakes they make are quickly noticed and corrected! 😆
You should build your electrical room like a faraday cage! EMP is a reality, would be a shame to have the heart of the system you made unusable! Great job and awesome projects! Y'all one of my favorite channels and your family is the best! God Blessed y'all!
That's a good idea, letting them, get a hand on approach, rather than just watching. Because a lot of people actually retain that skill information and have a better recall of the how to process. Lots of windows, and now there's a lot of short runs. Making progress, have a great week and God bless. 👋😇👍👌✌️👋🙏
20 windows are the right amount for your house! You've made great progress this past year on your homestead. Keep going! Your children are learning so much about construction and homestead management. Your house has really taking shape in the past month. Looking forward to your review of progress in 2024.
You can feel the stress mounting as you guys get into more of the specific parts of the build. Looks like a conversation about what it will be in the end may be beneficial. You guys are working super hard and I am sure it is not always fun or easy. Keep keeping on!
Amazing edit. I like how you lower the sound of the saw. And the music is amazing as usual. I remember you say ing a long way back that your husband used some of his own music creAtions. And I hear what sounds like mom's voice. Is she in there at all? And the windows got a bit of Stonehenge look to it. You may be able to have some interesting home school lessons on time of year calculations. The two most important they say are spring and fall equinox. Blessings in your journey. From another off gridder/ homeschooler/ builder/ love living in dirt daughter of the most high.
May I just say what a beautiful family you have! Your now young adults are growing up fast, and man they’re all getting tall and look like models. It’s so cool that they help with building, filming, chores……all the things. Truly, they are learning “real life” lessons and that will take them far! 👏🏻👏🏻😉😊
My morning ritual is to watch y'all work on your dream home. I just really really truly loved watching. I must get a plan for my homestead almost 6 and 1/2 acres in the mountain in Oklahoma
I love how the cats are so involved with everything you all do!❤❤❤ The window forms are awesome🙌 Wow, I can now really see what the end prodict is going to look like🌈🌈🌈 Go Tiny Shiny Home team👏👏👏👏
Ashley - 1st of all I can relate to the pants issue. Mine are about 20 years old and I would say only the last seven years are they comfortably wearable and now they’re wearing out. Dang! Yes, let the kids use the power tools. Otherwise they’re bored… you know how much you like using them! Sometimes their using the tools takes more time but it’s a learning experience for them. I do like all the windows, from what I can see you won’t regret it. You’re really moving along now!
More windows, the better. In fact, you should put in a big picture window. Though I don't know if that is possible with earth bag homes. Sending your family blessings over the holidays!
Wow love the aerial at the end - so dynamic to see the window forms and the building taking shape as it rises up! You folks are Rockin it! Much love many hugs
It's hard to add windows later, you can always fill them in. It's nice you are teaching your kids the carpentry skills. It will last a lifetime. Merry Christmas!
We had 23 windows in our last house. But when you look at the aerial shots from above it looks like there are a hundred windows in yours. You’re making good progress. Alan
I have 24 windows in my house, so you don’t have too many! All those window forms create a cool Stonehenge vibe! Although the house probably won’t appear the same when completed, I think the windows will still look cool!
You went from door henge to window henge! There's going to be so much light in your house. I hope the walls hold their strength with all those windows. Looking really good, coming along great now.
I've been watching for a while now.love what you guys do and how you all work as a family to get things done. Ashley, you mentioned your pants and being used to wearing paper thin pants. Have you ever thought of wearing scrubs? ( like what nurses wear). I think you might like them. They can be found almost anywhere, including bigbox stores. If you go into town or online.
It is so exciting to see your progress & truthfully we can all feel your joy & enthusiasum as your continual hardwork is reflected in each new improvement comes to fruition. Remarkably the children continue to be supportive team players in all phases of improvement . What a fantastic way to build character. So love to watch all of your videos & anxiously wait with "baited breath" for each new video. May the Lord continue to cover your family with His bounty.
Enjoy watching your family and all your videos and I can't say how much I have been waiting for the kids to get more involved in tools saws welding awesome they're ready Good luck all Merry Christmas and happy holidays
So awesome ! Kudos to Steampunk Steve. Chargin' !!! The windows are fantastic. They'll let in light as the sun and moon are in motion, as a wonderful dance of light....... So exciting as the beauty and vision continue taking shape, yeeeeowza !
Amazing video. All of the hard work is definitely paying off. I love seeing the kids and everything they are doing. They are all absolutely gorgeous and handsome by the way. Good job.
Wow! It is so impressive. You guys rock. I have watched you since you started the solar shed. I always look for you guys first. You all are living it real. Lots of love to you all. Never stop creating.
I love how the Cats are checking every thing out.... Yah this spot will be great to sit in for sunshine.... The driveway drive by view will be amazing....
Hey Jon, remember the language of SWMBO! She is always right, right, ya got that. LOL:) if she says “we’ll see” it means you just wait cause if I’m right you’re in for it. Or Sybil fawlty’s “Yes Dear” which means shut up I’m right you’re not. I do enjoy you guys working as the family team. Your kids are brilliant, go guys and get it done.
Looks like Jax has lost quite a bit of weight he’s looking great 😊 awesome job with the window frames the round house is looking amazing and progressing fast. WTG family. I wish you all a very merry Christmas

Yay, Jackery! Thanks for inspiring more Tiny Shiny Home episodes.
We have a jackery also thanks for sponsoring Tiny Shiny Home. Kreg where are you when they are going to need you so much for the indoor details, cabinets, pocket holes galore!
❤
It will be so good when lithium ion isn't needed. It's not eco friendly!
A house can never have too many windows. The design of your home is beautiful. Capturing the landscape is a fantastic idea.
Thanks for the shout out. I knew you'd like the Ripcut. Adding all those forms is going to cut down the time laying bags on that long wall
That thing is amazing!
@TinyShinyHome you should stop by and see some of the other wonderful tools I have 😁
:)
I want one! Soooooo many things I want to create!
I'm gonna cry when they complete this house. I love this family so much!! You guys are a HUGE inspiration!
Don’t worry. We have so many builds planned;)
Big shout out to your kids who are learning amazing skills and aren't afraid of hard work!!
It is a good experience for your kids to learn how to be builders, these experiences shows they can be independant in life. Good job parenting you two!
Ashley & Jonathan I think your inclusion of the kids is awesome. That’s the best way to teach and the knowledge they’re gaining is invaluable.
I love the banter between Ashley and Jonathan.😊😊😊 You go girl!
thanks for recognizing the banter. we're just joking around with each other. people take this stuff too seriously :) we're just having fun :)
Wow. You have just reduced the long runs of wall bags by a tremendous amount. I think that's a good thing...is it? And I just have to comment on seeing more of Jax recently. He was conspicuously absent for a long time, and I've missed his sense of humor and antics. Nice to see you back, Jax.
I love the kitty and Cloud shots, too! ❤
I think Jax prefers to not be on camera so it’s good to get these glimpses of him 😊
I think Jax does a lot of the filming. That’s why we don’t see him in front of the camera. I enjoy his sense of humour too. 💕
I think so to and he does an amazing job also fantastic music @@pamjamas
I agree. I have missed his sense of humor.
Love that your teaching the kids how to use and be safe with tools. This is exciting your starting the window frames. Beautiful day!!

Great that children are becoming as tool savvy as Mom and Dad.
Your round house is going to be awesome.
You know the beauty of your landscape would look nice from your new home no matter where you are inside.
The kittens have all grown up! I loved the way the cat was looking up at Jax with such adoration. Y'all are making such great progress.

What about the heat and cold? what about the cost of (double pane) windows?
They'll be shaded in the summer, and yes we're going to invest in quality windows with UV treating and insulation. Also, they're not all windows :)
Wow…it’s looking fabulous. I can picture all the streaming sunsets coming through, plus, your bottles. So much thought and beauty has been put into your home. Always enjoy seeing the kids out learning and helping.
I really like when the cats help! Its fun to see them all over usunf their supervisor badges!😂
Maybe looks like lot of windows because window forms are what stand out just now and will look perfect as walls are added. Beautiful.
I’m glad to see you let the kids be part of the real building of your home. I know I started at 7 yrs old nailing cedar shacks on the roof . And I know your dad had you right beside him too. 👍👍👀

Such thought and consideration.
You need all the windows because it's so pretty outside, but really hot in the summer.
Wood Form Henge Rises!
Progress!
Thank You Jackery for Sponsoring the Video!
The addition of those forms is really going to change bag laying! Here's to ALLLLLLL the LIGHT!!!
