I really like Oliver. When I first started watching this it was mid morning and I thought to myself why isn't Oliver in school. I think that's because I'm a mom. Then I remembered he's an Alter. I really like that he plays the SIMS so do I even though I'm old. It really helps keep your imagination alive. I suffer from short term memory lost. So I loose time also. So I kind of can relate. I'm just a casual onlooker, no disorders or mental health issues (besides some mild depression and anxiety). This video made me so happy! It's interesting to have a view into a DID person's life! Yes! How he deal with the romantic attraction or what if he wants to kiss Jess and is Ollie present as an alter. Maybe it is too personal, but I feel it most be very difficult you know? To control yourself to touch someone when you love it and those kind of stuff
What's the transition between personalities like? Say for example Ollie transitions to Jess. Does Jess then ask "WHat happened" or does she smoothly continue on as if she has known whats been doing on the whole time? Does Ollie question why he has to sleep in bed with another man?
She doesn't, the note was left by Jamie for when Ollie next would come forth. The thing Ollie said about the owl, yo. The others are pretty much grown and most likely don't need a list of chores to do, most adults don't, unless they write the notes for themselves to just remember them.
Do Ollie and Jess communicate with each other? I notice that Jess isn't part of his family. If they do communicate, what does Ollie consider Jess to be to him?

I can't stop watching this video, not only is Ollie a sweetheart and funny but it's also really nice to see Gaz's relationship with each of the boys. When Gaz showed the catstranaout bedding he got for Ollie (and probably him too cause they're awesome) it was just one of the many love moments I see in your relationship. It's little things like that that make Ollie feel very happy and loved. I love and adore every part of you, thank you for educating me so much on DID and for opening my mind further to truly understanding what it's like instead of what hollywood depicts it as.

It's not likely his voice will get much lower as the host body being female doesn't allow for a deeper voice as it was born female, similar to other male VS female characteristics, such as Testosterone VS Estrogen

I knew there was a reason I kinda “shipped” Jaime and Ed when they did the alters introduction video. They have this dynamic of a couple because they’re both fathers to Ollie.
I cant tell you how happy I am to be watching videos from you. ALL of you have helped us so much after being told we have DID. There's a total of 7 of us, all girls though. They are Melinda (the host 37) Miranda (24) Lyndee (16) Penelope (15) Kassidy (7) Sophie (5) Baby Lyndee (3) and Sophie is Two. We always knew something was wrong but we were too scared to seek help until several months ago and after talking and switching in front of our psychologist. After we were scared because we didn't fully understand what DID was and worried we'd end up locked up because of it. Well we came across your videos and used so many of your tips to talk with each other, like leaving notes and using a notebook. I helped Mel, as we call her accept us. I know I don't know you and the boys but I honestly love each and every one of you for being brave enough to make these videos to show others that we are just like everyone else.. just with more in one body. Now Does Ollie also play the sims 3? I do and I've made all of us in one house like Ollie did. I've actually got some of the others playing it now too. Though we have some fun and mess with the others saved games from time to time, have a baby or change jobs, move houses just small funny things that wont really mess up our games. I'm also happy that you have a loving and supportive husband. I do too and it's great that he's accepted all of us like your husband has all of you. Okay we're not really married yet but soon. We've been together almost 2 years so close enough and he lives with me and takes care of the little ones and even us older ones when needed. Thank you for making videos again. I've only watched the "meet the alters" video before this one, and as I was watching it, my shipping senses were tingling with Jaimie and Ed and I was like "no, I can't do that; they're alters which means they're real people" (I have a policy on real people and shipping: don't do it, there is only pain there). And then I started watching this and I was like "I KNEW IT I WASN'T WRONG!". Anyway, this was really enlightening to watch. I love how these videos have a very light feel to them, because I've watched a lot of videos on mental disorder/mental health topics and they have a very down and dark tone to them, always. Not that one shouldn't be serious when talking about mental health, but it's not like "this is a depressing topic that everyone, myself included, doesn't want to talk about". It's like, no! Let's talk about it! It's not all sunshine and daisies but that doesn't mean it has to have such a downtrodden tone! Anyway, thanks for all of your guy's work on these videos.

Why would you be sad? They found a tremendous and joyful way to cope with a trauma... Mine was (is) chronic migraines, which have just ruined my life, love-life, professional-life, social-life... basically everything. Obviously you’d wish people would never experience trauma. But if they do... well I wish I had coped this way.
Watching Ollie talk about their house made me smile and I laughed out loud and smiled the whole time Gaz and Ollie were talking to each other. You all have a charming family.
As someone who recently foynd out they're part of a system, I was terrified that love wasn't an option that no one woukd want to date us, but I've been blessed with a very loving gf and seeing Gaz interact with the boys in Jess's system makes me feel so much more secure about things. -Emma of House Eptesicus.
Not sure if you want to talk about this, but this video made me curious about Jenny. Would you ever be open to talking about her? (What she is like, why she is no longer an alter, etc.) I don't want to upset you or make you uncomfortable, though, so of course don't feel obligated.
reminded This is generally called "integration," where one alter was created to help protect or shield the host (in this case Jess, the core personality who resides in the body) due to trauma, but now they are no longer necessary for the core personality to function and they usually "fade away," and they surface less frequently until they just never come back. When someone is in therapy when they do not wish to have these alters, this is seen as a good thing, as progress. That the core personality is coping with the results of the trauma better and does not need to rely on these aspects as much. In this case, since Jess seems to have such a good relationship with her alters, I have no idea how she feels about this, if it's like losing a friend. But in a lot of cases, first the alter will stop taking control of the physical body but still reside in the headspace. Sometimes they will fade after that and others times that's just where they prefer to be. So it's possible that Jenny is in the headspace and is stable, but just not physically accessible, if that makes sense. I'm new to this channel so I'm not sure about the specifics about this system and how their inner world or headspace is structured, but those are just some general points for anyone who's curious. It is so wonderful to see a group of personalities that interact so positively with each other. From what I've seen, a lot of the time there is at least one personality that causes drama and kind of leave messes the other aspects then have to deal with, a lot of aftermath. Perpetrator and avenger alters are examples of that, either modeled after the person who hurt them (the former) or a personality that really tends to hold all the negative emotions of the trauma that happened. They remember and they are angry about it and tend to act out toward the perpetrator or just in life, being sort of aggressive wild-child types. The protector personalities end up watching these very carefully and try to mitigate the influence of these aspects. Even with those types active, anyone with DID is far far more likely to be the victim of crime than to do anything to physically hurt anyone else, despite the Hollywood stereotype. But it does cause drama, so I'm really so thrilled to have come across Jess and her alters. Ollie specially is just so sweet, and adapting very fluidly. Your question was a great one, just one of many that come up in regards to this disorder. It seems there are as many answers to it as there are people who have experienced an alter fading, so only Jess knows her situation, but I thought I'd list a few things generally accepted in psychology (Which still needs to do a lot of work for it to fully understand this phenomenon and help do justice by those who have it).

I'm in an odd situation where I'm in my teen years and just this year realised I have DID, and I'm slowly figuring out about my alters that I've unknowingly lived with for years. We would like to say that Gaz is not admirable because of how he "deals with your disorder", but because you can see the true love in his eyes when he talks about you guys. Likewise, we can see love for him in your eyes, and believe fully that you all do just as much to enrich his life and support him through his tough times. Thank you for the beautiful videos.
This is probably too personal but I'm really curious so I thought I'd tentatively ask: do all the alters have the same level of attraction towards Gaz as you (Jess) do? Can Gaz easily tell which alter is in control in the morning when you wake up?
They've all got different voices, if you've watched other videos with the alters. Jake is solidly American, Ed is very London, Ollie has the vocal patterns of a thirteen-year-old, Jamie's tone is a lot lower than Jess'. Since he's met all the alters and knows them all quite well, I'm pretty sure Gaz can tell who's who from body language alone rather quickly (and if he can't, just asking would probably suffice).
Katie Marie Gaz said in a TV interview he knows who's going to be in the body upon waking because all of them sleep differently! They've been together so long, he knows the difference between them all. And someone else already commented about all the alters' relationships with Gaz. Of course Ollie isn't romantic with him lol, they actually refer to each other as their godfather/godson!

Out of my own experience, the first month can sometimes be kind of wired. It's like, my GF goes to sleep beside me and when she wakes up, she's a 5 year old girl, that want me to play with her and her Barbie. After a while, it gets pretty normal. after more than 6 month, I still wake up and have to ask "Who am I talking to right now?", just because as longer they where out, as more they speak like my gf. Only two of them keep trying to talk in there own voice (The 5 year old girl and a 15 year old boy). That's only because of they have to talk like my gf, because not everybody should know about it. Long story short, it gets very fast normal. Hope you can read my weak English. And I hope it answers your question :)

Few Questions: 1. When an alter is not coconscious, and is not driving, what happens? I know you have that "inner world," but does an alter ALWAYS exist there when not conscious? Or do they also have a sort of "sleep mode?" 2. You said that alters eat and go to the restroom, and perform other functions when they're not conscious. If that's the case, could an alter die? Like, if they never ate in the inner world. 3. In one's mind/imagination, anything's possible. Anything you can dream is a reality. However, Ollie said he "wanted an aquarium." So is that not the case for the inner world? Can you not just "imagine" anything there? If that's the case, how does anything show up there? Like food and such.
Obviusly not the same person but I also have an "inner world", I know they vary quite A Lot (mine's a wrecked and old school and my friend's a maze sottar thing) but I guess it doesn't hurt to tell how it works on mine. 1. When one is on control, the still reside in the "inner world" and act just like they always do, but now they can see two world's at the same time! 2. They cannot die by means such as starvantion or illnesses, it can hurt like hell, but doesn't kill us. 3. That's hard to answer, here things just spawn at random, and it's just random stuff like paper and wood, not even our original has the power to control what appears and what doesn't, guess that's just the subconcious' work.
I have OSDD1b, so I may not have the same sort of system but 1. Its not like they stop existing when they aren't active, they go "dormant." This word could mean a lot to different people. Dormancy can last from a few days to even years. For me, since my alters are very active with my girlfriend (she's much like an aunt to the littles and very good friends with the older ones), they are usually dormant for weeks instead of a long time, because they have a reason to come back (besides their alter functions) 2. Alter, despite what some people may tell you, cannot die. This idea, from my experiences, is used by abusers trying to manipulate your alters (my friend who was faking a system said her alters died and so my alters got scared). Some alters do identify as dead, but they aren't quite literally dead. The closest thing I could think of to being "dead" is intergration, which is when the alter becomes a part of the whole, with every alter inheriting their roles and traits. 3. Headspaces/Inner worlds work differently for different people. Jess, Ollie, Jamie, Jake, Ed, and the two fragments have a very developed inner world that seems to follow the laws of the real world, meaning that they do have a concept of purchasing items (Jake even says he goes on dates in innerworld if I'm correct). My inner world is different. Most of it is just empty, since I kind of project them to be around me (like for example, I may feel Liam sitting next to me watching a movie with me), but a section of my alters have a developed house like Jess' system (Jayson, Khrist and Juliet). I hope this helps somewhat! Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong (I encourage it really).
Assailant I know alters can die because one of our treatments and I'm saying ours because I'm a psychologist if there are dangerous alters like gum personality that has a strong desire to harm others or something like that because there have been we then go through a process of sort of sedating the patient's body and calling that alter out and then going through a process of putting them under hypnosis and guiding them through a process of death and it is both painful for me as I colleges and it is painful for all the other alters inside the body of the patient and the patient because it is a death but it all depends on the patient if wants it and it's really for the safety of the patient and those around them because it can be a harmful alter it it has a desire to harm others so yes they can die.

you guys (hhaha cause honestly it was a team effort between all of you alters) have really really changed my perspective on DID. I always thought it was something quite scary and mentally challenging :/ . What's the transition between personalities like? Say for example Ollie transitions to Jess. Does Jess then ask "WHat happened" or does she smoothly continue on as if she has known whats been doing on the whole time? Does Ollie question why he has to sleep in bed with another man?

She doesn't, the note was left by Jamie for when Ollie next would come forth. The thing Ollie said about the owl, yo. The others are pretty much grown and most likely don't need a list of chores to do, most adults don't, unless they write the notes for themselves to just remember them.

I can't stop watching this video, not only is Ollie a sweetheart and funny but it's also really nice to see Gaz's relationship with each of the boys. When Gaz showed the catstranaout bedding he got for Ollie (and probably him too cause they're awesome) it was just one of the many love moments I see in your relationship. It's little things like that that make Ollie feel very happy and loved. I love and adore every part of you, thank you for educating me so much on DID and for opening my mind further to truly understanding what it's like instead of what hollywood depicts it as.

As Ollie is an alter that ages up, will he go through "puberty" and have his voice go lower in the future? Do some alters go through that?
I mean Ed Jake and Jamie are in their 20s and they all have similar depths to their voices, just different tones and accents.

It's not likely his voice will get much lower as the host body being female doesn't allow for a deeper voice as it was born female, similar to other male VS female characteristics, such as Testosterone VS Estrogen

I knew there was a reason I kinda “shipped” Jaime and Ed when they did the alters introduction video. They have this dynamic of a couple because they’re both fathers to Ollie.
I cant tell you how happy I am to be watching videos from you. ALL of you have helped us so much after being told we have DID. There's a total of 7 of us, all girls though. They are Melinda (the host 37) Miranda (24) Lyndee (16) Penelope (15) Kassidy (7) Sophie (5) Baby Lyndee (3) and Sophie is Two. We always knew something was wrong but we were too scared to seek help until several months ago and after talking and switching in front of our psychologist. After we were scared because we didn't fully understand what DID was and worried we'd end up locked up because of it. Well we came across your videos and used so many of your tips to talk with each other, like leaving notes and using a notebook. I helped Mel, as we call her accept us. I know I don't know you and the boys but I honestly love each and every one of you for being brave enough to make these videos to show others that we are just like everyone else.. just with more in one body.
Now Does Ollie also play the sims 3? I do and I've made all of us in one house like Ollie did. I've actually got some of the others playing it now too. Though we have some fun and mess with the others saved games from time to time, have a baby or change jobs, move houses just small funny things that wont really mess up our games. I'm also happy that you have a loving and supportive husband. I do too and it's great that he's accepted all of us like your husband has all of you. Okay we're not really married yet but soon. We've been together almost 2 years so close enough and he lives with me and takes care of the little ones and even us older ones when needed. Thank you for making videos again. I've only watched the "meet the alters" video before this one, and as I was watching it, my shipping senses were tingling with Jaimie and Ed and I was like "no, I can't do that; they're alters which means they're real people" (I have a policy on real people and shipping: don't do it, there is only pain there). And then I started watching this and I was like "I KNEW IT I WASN'T WRONG!".
Anyway, this was really enlightening to watch. I love how these videos have a very light feel to them, because I've watched a lot of videos on mental disorder/mental health topics and they have a very down and dark tone to them, always. Not that one shouldn't be serious when talking about mental health, but it's not like "this is a depressing topic that everyone, myself included, doesn't want to talk about". It's like, no! Let's talk about it! It's not all sunshine and daisies but that doesn't mean it has to have such a downtrodden tone!
Anyway, thanks for all of your guy's work on these videos.

Why would you be sad? They found a tremendous and joyful way to cope with a trauma... Mine was (is) chronic migraines, which have just ruined my life, love-life, professional-life, social-life... basically everything. Obviously you’d wish people would never experience trauma. But if they do... well I wish I had coped this way.

As someone who recently foynd out they're part of a system, I was terrified that love wasn't an option that no one woukd want to date us, but I've been blessed with a very loving gf and seeing Gaz interact with the boys in Jess's system makes me feel so much more secure about things.

Not sure if you want to talk about this, but this video made me curious about Jenny. Would you ever be open to talking about her? (What she is like, why she is no longer an alter, etc.) I don't want to upset you or make you uncomfortable, though, so of course don't feel obligated.
reminded This is generally called "integration," where one alter was created to help protect or shield the host (in this case Jess, the core personality who resides in the body) due to trauma, but now they are no longer necessary for the core personality to function and they usually "fade away," and they surface less frequently until they just never come back. When someone is in therapy when they do not wish to have these alters, this is seen as a good thing, as progress. That the core personality is coping with the results of the trauma better and does not need to rely on these aspects as much. In this case, since Jess seems to have such a good relationship with her alters, I have no idea how she feels about this, if it's like losing a friend. But in a lot of cases, first the alter will stop taking control of the physical body but still reside in the headspace. Sometimes they will fade after that and others times that's just where they prefer to be. So it's possible that Jenny is in the headspace and is stable, but just not physically accessible, if that makes sense. I'm new to this channel so I'm not sure about the specifics about this system and how their inner world or headspace is structured, but those are just some general points for anyone who's curious. It is so wonderful to see a group of personalities that interact so positively with each other. From what I've seen, a lot of the time there is at least one personality that causes drama and kind of leave messes the other aspects then have to deal with, a lot of aftermath. Perpetrator and avenger alters are examples of that, either modeled after the person who hurt them (the former) or a personality that really tends to hold all the negative emotions of the trauma that happened. They remember and they are angry about it and tend to act out toward the perpetrator or just in life, being sort of aggressive wild-child types. The protector personalities end up watching these very carefully and try to mitigate the influence of these aspects. Even with those types active, anyone with DID is far far more likely to be the victim of crime than to do anything to physically hurt anyone else, despite the Hollywood stereotype. But it does cause drama, so I'm really so thrilled to have come across Jess and her alters. Ollie specially is just so sweet, and adapting very fluidly. Your question was a great one, just one of many that come up in regards to this disorder. It seems there are as many answers to it as there are people who have experienced an alter fading, so only Jess knows her situation, but I thought I'd list a few things generally accepted in psychology (Which still needs to do a lot of work for it to fully understand this phenomenon and help do justice by those who have it).

I'm in an odd situation where I'm in my teen years and just this year realised I have DID, and I'm slowly figuring out about my alters that I've unknowingly lived with for years. This is probably too personal but I'm really curious so I thought I'd tentatively ask: do all the alters have the same level of attraction towards Gaz as you (Jess) do? Can Gaz easily tell which alter is in control in the morning when you wake up?

They've all got different voices, if you've watched other videos with the alters. Jake is solidly American, Ed is very London, Ollie has the vocal patterns of a thirteen-year-old, Jamie's tone is a lot lower than Jess'. Since he's met all the alters and knows them all quite well, I'm pretty sure Gaz can tell who's who from body language alone rather quickly (and if he can't, just asking would probably suffice).

Katie Marie Gaz said in a TV interview he knows who's going to be in the body upon waking because all of them sleep differently! They've been together so long, he knows the difference between them all. And someone else already commented about all the alters' relationships with Gaz. Of course Ollie isn't romantic with him lol, they actually refer to each other as their godfather/godson!

Out of my own experience, the first month can sometimes be kind of wired. It's like, my GF goes to sleep beside me and when she wakes up, she's a 5 year old girl, that want me to play with her and her Barbie. After a while, it gets pretty normal. after more than 6 month, I still wake up and have to ask "Who am I talking to right now?", just because as longer they where out, as more they speak like my gf. Only two of them keep trying to talk in there own voice (The 5 year old girl and a 15 year old boy). That's only because of they have to talk like my gf, because not everybody should know about it. Long story short, it gets very fast normal. Hope you can read my weak English. And I hope it answers your question :)

Few Questions:
1. When an alter is not coconscious, and is not driving, what happens? I know you have that "inner world," but does an alter ALWAYS exist there when not conscious? Or do they also have a sort of "sleep mode?"
2. You said that alters eat and go to the restroom, and perform other functions when they're not conscious. If that's the case, could an alter die? Like, if they never ate in the inner world.
3. In one's mind/imagination, anything's possible. Anything you can dream is a reality. However, Ollie said he "wanted an aquarium." So is that not the case for the inner world? Can you not just "imagine" anything there? If that's the case, how does anything show up there? Like food and such.
Obviusly not the same person but I also have an "inner world", I know they vary quite A Lot (mine's a wrecked and old school and my friend's a maze sottar thing) but I guess it doesn't hurt to tell how it works on mine.
1. When one is on control, the still reside in the "inner world" and act just like they always do, but now they can see two world's at the same time!
2. They cannot die by means such as starvantion or illnesses, it can hurt like hell, but doesn't kill us.
3. That's hard to answer, here things just spawn at random, and it's just random stuff like paper and wood, not even our original has the power to control what appears and what doesn't, guess that's just the subconcious' work.
I have OSDD1b, so I may not have the same sort of system but
1. Its not like they stop existing when they aren't active, they go "dormant." This word could mean a lot to different people. Dormancy can last from a few days to even years. For me, since my alters are very active with my girlfriend (she's much like an aunt to the littles and very good friends with the older ones), they are usually dormant for weeks instead of a long time, because they have a reason to come back (besides their alter functions)
2. Alter, despite what some people may tell you, cannot die. This idea, from my experiences, is used by abusers trying to manipulate your alters (my friend who was faking a system said her alters died and so my alters got scared). Some alters do identify as dead, but they aren't quite literally dead. The closest thing I could think of to being "dead" is intergration, which is when the alter becomes a part of the whole, with every alter inheriting their roles and traits.
3. Headspaces/Inner worlds work differently for different people. Jess, Ollie, Jamie, Jake, Ed, and the two fragments have a very developed inner world that seems to follow the laws of the real world, meaning that they do have a concept of purchasing items (Jake even says he goes on dates in innerworld if I'm correct). My inner world is different. Most of it is just empty, since I kind of project them to be around me (like for example, I may feel Liam sitting next to me watching a movie with me), but a section of my alters have a developed house like Jess' system (Jayson, Khrist and Juliet).
I hope this helps somewhat! Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong (I encourage it really).
Assailant I know alters can die because one of our treatments and I'm saying ours because I'm a psychologist if there are dangerous alters like gum personality that has a strong desire to harm others or something like that because there have been we then go through a process of sort of sedating the patient's body and calling that alter out and then going through a process of putting them under hypnosis and guiding them through a process of death and it is both painful for me as I colleges and it is painful for all the other alters inside the body of the patient and the patient because it is a death but it all depends on the patient if wants it and it's really for the safety of the patient and those around them because it can be a harmful alter it it has a desire to harm others so yes they can die.
