I'm a 50 year Vikings fan. I've seen failure of epic proportions from this franchise. All this talk about getting the number one seed is irrelevant. It would actually be better if the Vikings have their clinker game now and get it out of the way BEFORE the playoffs. You know that game is coming. You know... the one where they just don't show up ready to play? I'd much rather lose now, and start the playoffs on the road instead of getting a first round bye and breaking out the clinker for a one and done finish.

You may get worse at qb but you can improve in other areas like the OL and the DL and the team can still win 13 games next year and have a shot at the SB for about 3-5 years
