This is a rough one to watch. My dad was killed last year tomorrow a quarter mile down this hill (@ 6:59) while riding his bike. Not conclusive to indicate hit and run but the injuries he sustained were massive, more than just falling off a bike. Judging from how fast those SOBs were driving down Hillsdale, not a far stretch to think someone may have been driving too fast and hit him. He loved riding through El Cajon back hills. It was his passion.
That's a shame. Sorry to hear. I grew up in and around El cajon and would not ride a bike in El cajon. Used to be safe. Too many speeding drivers and cops not enforcing the laws or holding them accountable. Not the same El cajon it once was. My condolences to your family.
My favorite city in the world San Diego I wish I could live there, stayed in San Diego when my husband was stationed Miramar in 1967 for six months my husband was in the Navy❤️❤️❤️❤️
yeahhhh technically El Cajon but not in practice. when i saw this i was expecting you to take the left and actually go into el cajon rather than the right to go to dehesa and rancho san diego. @@4KTravelChannel
@@PACbelltech1 I would say that house is worth about 800 grand to 1 million. I built that house for a contractor I was working for, I went on to get my contractor license in 1989, I built my house in 2012, it's worth about the same. Gotta love sunny California.
Are you familiar with El Cajon? This is not the neighborhoods of El Cajon. These are only the outskirts. I appreciate you making it look more remote and rural than it is but it doesn't give a realistic expectation.
@@4KTravelChannel Do you know how to use a map? As other have noted, this video is 95% not El Cajon--just Granite Hills, the suburban hills outside of it, which are completely unremarkable and uninteresting, looking exactly like just about every other similar throughout Southern California. Completely boring and pointless record. What a useless video.

San Diego is beautiful. I visited it this past summer, beautiful city.
That's awesome!
Exploring El Cajon City was a delightful adventure filled with vibrant culture and warm hospitality - a must-visit destination!

I’m so sorry to hear that….😥
People drive to fast. It shouldn't be aloud. There is no need for a car to drive faster than the limit.

This is outside the City of El Cajon. In San Diego County. Still has El Cajon addresses. With a tiny part of the city. All affluent neighborhoods.
Google maps said it was El Cajon

These aren't the Neighborhoods I think of when I think of El Cajon...
Google Maps said it was El Cajon but I can agree with you
I think it's more like granted hills and horborson canyon ?
In case anyone wants to know, at 4:13, I built that house on the left in about 1982.
That's so cool 👍
You do realize how much that home is worth today I'm guessing. Lol. Was it your home and do you still own it??

This is a part of El Cajon according to Google Maps
Best place to live in, I miss it
I agree 👍
This is barely El Cajon!! Go through Main street, Downtown, Lexington Madison, Jamacha, or any major street
That's for the next time, thanks 👍
Want to get a feel for El Cajon....Drive down Lexington
That's a good idea! Thanks
1401 Lexington Ave. 1957 El Cajon auction yard. My home for a few years until we moved to Paulson Ave.
This is Rancho San Diego and granite hills....not the incorporated inner city of El cajon.
That was El Cajon according to Google Maps, or a part of it

What they don't want to show you is Broadway
I agree with you )
More like THE OUTSKIRTS of El Cajon…. You barely got into the city the last 30 seconds?
Great idea, thanks
I was going to say this is the more rural areas, I live here and the actual city is okay not so bad.
The outskirts look more pleasing
@@diegorodriguez-ge7ef i agree with you
@@diegorodriguez-ge7ef cool!
Looks like New Frontier LOL for Soros dude!
👍
Stay out of the city!
Why is that?
