Wonderful work, Oren. May Moschiach come, and may our Temple be restored. May the Land of Israel be the way that G-d commanded in its majesty and glory...
Love seeing the five western walls, Oren . My favourite is the small one, too, for the shade and the quiet. I also heard about Meir Panim a while back and donate monthly. Btw, I am an elderly non-Jewish New Zealander, who will never have the means to visit Jerusalem, so I totally appreciate your tours, toda raba!
Thank you Oren I am sharing with my family in Israel so they can see as I do your other sightseeing advice You bring a smile to my face with your intelligence and knowledge along with your love of Israel My son and daughter live in Tel Aviv as do other family. My son is a combat reservist serving now in the south Thank you again ❤💙🤍🇮🇱🇺🇸
Thank you Oren, not only is this very interesting but also an inoffensive way of educating people who aren't aware of the lengthy Jewish history of Israel
I was 10 years old when I visited Jerusalem and the wailing wall. I am an Atheist and I am looking forwrd to the 4K release of the Kingdom of Heaven movie in 2025 . Visit Israel it is one of the most interesting countries you can visit in the world.
If you visited Jerusalem you must know what BS that movie was. They showed Jerusalem as being on a flat desert, which is the opposite of where Jerusalem really is (hilly and fertile). That city wouldn't become what it did if it was in the middle of some desert.
The correct term is Western Wall. "Wailing Wall" is a condescending, insulting term invented by people who pitied (at best) or demeaned (at worst) the Jews who stood or sat at the wall mourning the loss of Jewish sovereignty. Jews always have called the place Western Wall, and so should everyone else.
@@skwarubwa7083 It s like westbank, but forgive us europeans, who are not deep in the subject. We are not disrespectful, it s just our medie that call s it so. And yeah, everybody has his own wake up call, that they (the medie, the politicians...) lie.
Oren, todah RABBAH!! A thought occurred to me that even tho' you are not debunking or doing advocacy directly, in giving these exclusive & wonderful tours/courses you are accomplishing even more - people will fall in love with The Land and see that it is unarguably THE Jewish homeland and deeded by the GREAT LANDLORD!! Ya'ala Bye!! ❤ 💙🇮🇱💙❤️
That last point is very interesting. A few years ago I was meditating on the phrase, "Love your neighbor as yourself." I stopped and asked myself if I really believed that or if it was just something religious people say. I had to do some deep soul searching and I concluded that I was not loving my neighbors as myself and started trying to find ways to do so. It has changed my life for the better in so many ways and has opened opportunities for me to bless other people and become a happier and more fulfilled person in every area of my life. HAPPY HANUKKAH TO ALL MY JEWISH BROTHERS AND SISTERS!
Oren, I wish I could thumbsup this video fifty million times. Thank you for this video, thank you so much for pointing out that we are all together responsible for the kind of world we are living in and that it is our moral duty to participate in the common effort to make the world a better place. Personally I have been contemplating about this many times. I had no idea there was a Jewish tradition around this idea. What a wonderful tradition. Please forgive me for not donating to your cause, since February 2022 everything I can donate goes to support the Ukrainian army, the heroes defending our culture and our way of life. Even though my material support is fully devoted to Ukrainian defenders, I always take the opportunity to give moral support to Israel too. I will always argue with the Hamas supporters, I will always point out their hypocrisy and duplicity, I will always tell Jewish people, "yes, you have the right to defend yourself and I am always going to support you". Not because they wouldn't know they have that right, of course they know, I just want them to know that not everyone in Europe is a raging anti-semite, and that maybe this antisemitism is going to go away. Enjoy the Hanukah, I will enjoy Christmas and by that time I will come up with something to do to make the world a better place. P.S.: I didn't quite catch the name of this Jewish tradition in your video, would you be so kind and let me know what it's called, so that I can learn more about it. Once again, thank you.
Hello, the concept is called "Tikkun Olam" (Hebrew תיקון עולם) which literally means "fixing/correcting the world." The words themselves come from the Talmud, mostly mentioned in the laws concerning divorce, explaining how Rabbis of the time (2nd-3rd century CE) enacted certain laws to prevent abuse of the Torah law for selfish purposes. Later the kabbalists (15-16 century) expanded on the concept by explaining that after the original sin, the ideal world was "shattered," and one can improve the world by simply gluing together two of the millions of "shards." Allegorically, this meant doing and encouraging small acts of kindness would eventually fix/rebuild the shattered world and create the ideal society which God wants.
@victoriaspharmacy491 The thing about it is, that I have always felt the moral obligation to contribute to improving the world. Notionally I have always been adherent to this, but my participation has been rather ad-hoc, whenever I saw an opportunity to do something, I did it, but that was the end of it. I was really pleasantly surprised that the Jewish community practices this in a somewhat formalized level. It's absolutely great. I have read a little bit about Tikkun Olam, I will read some more and then I think I will just start my formal practice. Thank you for this.
Thank you so much for this video. I visited the exact locations you covered in this video, but our guide did not provide any detail. I am so happy you made it. I can now appreciate Jerusalem (and you) even more.
Note to first time visitors: If you take a packaged tour, it is unlikely that you will see most of what is shown here. Get a private tour from a guide such as Oren. It will cost a bit more, so go with family and/or friends to share the cost. I was in Israel back in March for a wedding. I didn't get to the Old City at all. You see, I had a guide the week before who took me to Akko and gave me a cold, which turned out to be the flu. Jerusalem is not any fun when you have the flu. But I am going back for Pasach. I have to make up for last time.
Oren, I love your new tradition! But you know, every time we make a bracha we are expressing gratitude to Hashem. My favorite is the one we make several times a day after using the toilet. We express gratitude that our body is functioning in so many little, but vital ways!
Oren, I love your new tradition idea! I can’t wait to return to Israel to see the Small Western Wall ! I had no idea it existed! Having 2 daughters I always wanted a picture of us together at the Wall and now hopefully I can make that happen.
Thank you for this video,Oren!♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for sharing & thank you for reminding us of what is important and what God wants us to do.♥️♥️♥️ We so easily forget it!

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I will watch it often and show it around. The icing was the showing of Chareidi in a positive light. I donated to Meir Panim in your honor.
Beautiful beautiful video, very informative. Thing that I love most is the fact that women just can walk around, wear what they want and look how they like, even on the most holy place for the Jews. The one true God must really love all his people and love to see them prosper. All of them. You will not see this in the hate of the fallen angel (islam. and it is not a religion, it is hate in it's purest form, unlimited hate). לבנות את בית המקדש השלישי. Build the third Temple....
Never used to pay but then the last time i was in Jerusalem was in 1983, before that i was on Kibbutz Gat in 1981 for 2 months and in November 1980 had a one week holiday with my Dad, we had a very busy week and a great time. He was the best person to go on holiday with. Pity we didnt spend longer.
A totally different perspective that makes for more informative way of understanding the city There seems to be evidence of the Romans destroying the ancient city and the second temple.
I like the idea of leaving notes which have some Thank You's in the western wall. It also happens that I'm happy to see comments on Meir Panim. I've seen a few of their videos here on YT, and wondered how much good they do. And I realize that people can make whatever claims they want to make when promoting themselves, and I also know there are charitable organizations where much of the money donated goes to the top management of the charity. It's helpful to hear from someone who's there in Israel, and can speak to the real-world benefit of Meir Panim.
I visited Holy Land November to December 2022 before Israel and Hamas war. Yes I was in the Western, Wailing Wall praying and inserting my letter prayers and supplications in the rock

The rectangular complex known as the "Temple Mount" does not have a spring as described in the Bible (for ritual use in the Temple). Instead, there are cisterns and water reservoirs. 6. In the southern and ancient part of Jerusalem there is a spring, the Gihon. 7. The Romans finally defeated the Jews and built the Aelia Capitolina on the ruins of Jerusalem. It is also described that the temple was destroyed to the ground. If so, why is the Antonia Fortress "not found"? And why are there supposedly remains of the Jewish temple complex to this day?
