  • This video shows the entire process of installing the new front lip on my 370. It is an Aero Jacket, or SL style front lip sourced from Ebay for a portion of what the real one costs. I also have the Aero Jacket style side skirts and rear, but those will be separate videos in the future. This lip is great for hiding scratches on your bumper, you can see in the video how badly scratched my bumper is from the previous owner.
So come along for the install and see how it is done, what I did differently than most, and how it all turns out in the end! Hopefully, this will help some of you in deciding whether or not to attempt this yourself (it was super easy), and maybe you can pick up some helpful tips along the way.

Awesome install video! How is your ride height? Are you lowered? I am trying to get one of these cool lips and just trying to see how badly it scrapes. I have H and R springs so I'm about 1.3 in lowered currently so not sure if I could put a lip on.

no, ride hight is the same cause the lip lines up with the bumper at the lowest point. you might still scrape because t lip makes the car front longer wivh means you have to go around pot holes wider

Thanks, really appreciate that. I am lowered on BC Racing coilovers, not sure the ride height, but it's definitely lower than stock. I do have to leave my driveway at an angle, or go very slowly...it does scrape sometimes, but not too bad. Overall, this lip is approximately 1.5 - 2 in. below the bottom of the bumper in the center. The kit includes S brackets to help stabilize the bumper since it has space between the bumper and lip. The nice thing is that it is made of a very durable polyurethane, so it can take the abuse. I hit a dip too fast a few weeks back and ripped the tab on the bumper where it connects to the fender by the wheel, but the lip just had a little road rash on the bottom, took it like a champ.
