Darjeeling tea is a world -renowned tea grown in the Hilly town of Darjeeling and its surrounding valleys. It is also called as the ‘Champagne of Tea’, which is best enjoyed without adding sugar and milk.
Darjeeling teas are available in different types, namely black, white, green and oolong. These refer to the extent of processing, ranging from the minimally processed green to the heavily processed black. Also, depending on the harvest period, each season alters the flavor and color profile of the tea.
Knowing the different Darjeeling Flushes in the black tea version is important because the flavor varies greatly from one season to another. The common flushes available are First flush, second flush and Autumn flush.
Darjeeling tea can be associated with several health like; it lowers Cholesterol, is high in antioxidants, flushes out toxins from body, supports dental health, reduces stress, supports digestion and helps in weight loss.
