Every shot of Mike McDaniel's face in the 2nd half of last night's game... it looked like the face of a man who knew that his team's season was over in week 2.
My local radio station does a “pick ‘em” for some weekly prizes and what not, and Perna actually talked me into switching my pick to the Bills, boy did that work out, thanks guys!
Massive Bills fan, but when my wife and I were watching the game we both let out an audioble "NOOOOOOoooooooo!!!!!!!' As somebody who suffered multiple concussions through high school and college sports, my empathy is high and prayers up for Tau!!!!

I know you can't pick on a guy who is hurt. But man, three picks, and two of them flat out awful, I was so ready to be lighting up Miami fans on X. Oh, well.
Bills/Dolphins rivalry has been around for a long time. Brian Cox said if he was traded to Buffalo that he'd retire. I hope Tua does what is best for his life.
I'm not sure the problem is that Tua has had multiple concussions since there are definitely people with more who are still playing. I think it's the severity and how rapid they’ve been that are what's causing the worry for people
Why would Vikings fans even TRY asking for a shoutout here? I'm a 49er fan and I know that if I asked Tom to go "Bang bang Niner Gang" he would find a clip that was devastating, I'm not paying for that! Thoughts & prayers for Tua BTW, hope he comes back and has 3500-4000 yards anyway.
I don’t trust QB’s who played for Alabama. I do feel bad for Tua. Not a bad Qb. Just can’t stop getting concussed . How has the dolphins not gotten a backup quarterback who is of starter caliber. There is actual serious conversation being had that diving is the safer play over sliding. Lamar Jackson implemented it bc your not in an awkward helpless position open to be demolished like you are when you slide. Definitely look into the alternate route of reasons why diving may be safer... Interesting convo imo
Sliding feet first is easily the safer option. Leading with your head is dangerous doing anything. Whether it be baseball, football, shoot even slides at the playground. I’m not sure who invented that opinion but they should check themselves for CTE
Just heard talk that they actually are starting to believe it's safer for QBs to dive instead of sliding since your not helpless in an awkward position. Lamar Jackson has been implementing the dive instead of slide methodology thus the attention & spotlight on it. So you may be wrong tbh. Understand bc I thought same way until I heard the reasoning behind it all, its an interesting conversation that should be had imo
Stan Humphries had 12 (documented) concussions. Not a benchmark, but more of an irregardlessness for their own safety. Tua can seriously hurt himself with continuing to play.
I like the Bill O Reilly reference. My gf and I almost called the cops from her Apple Watch while I was “restraining and punishing her.” Gotta be careful fellas. Could’ve accidentally called her mom. Or brother or dad! 🤦♂️
The sad truth is, Tua won't be an NFL QB long if he's getting concussed on such minimal contact. That defender was mostly stationary, standing vertically and Tua's helmet hit his bicep, flesh and bone. You can't be an NFL player if you're getting knocked out from that.
Seems like the only ones surprised by Tua's outcome last night is Grier and McDaniel. Tua has a history of injury, is too small and is unreliable, should draft someone else. Nah, Tua's our guy. Tua has a history of injury, has not proven himself in big games and really struggles to keep the pace - Nah, let's give him a big paycheck, not have a decent backup and pin the entire team's future on the guy. Holy crap, the Miami Dolphins are incompetent.
IMO Tua won't be an NFL QB much longer if he's getting concussed on such minimal contact. His head hit a stationary defenders bicep, not a helmet or shoulder pad but flesh.
Have we all forgotten the term "trap game" ? Bengals clearly were looking past the Pats to week 2 white whale chiefs. Bengals always play the game of their life against the chiefs so expect them to look like the best team in football tomorrow.
You two guys are assuming that the whole concussion problem was part of one hit . There was an instant earlier in the game where his head whipped sideways when he hit the ground in a play when he was tackled and pretty much just about or dead hit his head but that whip could have been part of the whole setup please watch the whole game again and watch his head when he gets tackled. Regarding the bills too much Josh Allen not enough full team play. You're going to see a repeat of last year Joshua missed a few games and then put it all in his back again. This is not quality football this is basically one man football. You guys should be old enough to realize that that never works
"Hawk" Tua played like poo before the injury. Hope he is ok but it's time for McDaniels to try something new. He is 1-11 against teams with a winning record.

I wonder if seeing how the NFL is concerned with player safety (hahahah)....okay, restart. Seeing the NFL is concerned with CTE lawsuits and bad press and so on. X-amount of concussions in a span and that's it, we're not going to let you turn into a mentally damaged husk of yourself in a few years? For those saying "so, what, he can't earn a living?" Tua has millions in guaranteed money, if you can't live a nice life with that, the problem is on you.
