This is some crazy good content, I can tell that 10 watches from now I'll still be learning something new. What amazes me the most is how much time must've gone into developing these theories. I have a background in computer science as well but I'm sure I wouldn't be obsessive enough to figure out half of these concepts. Hats off to the blood sweat and tears you poured into this

Michael is like my second father haha. He is the "rich dad" in Rich dad Poor dad from Robert Kiyosaki's book. The right mindset and knows what he's doing. Teaching the most powerful skill one could ever have. While my "poor dad" who is my real dad, wants me to become a doctor lol. I love my real dad, but I know who I want to take advices from... If you've read the book you'll understand what I'm talking about :)
lol...you can be a doctor and still do great, in fact i would say to some extent if you become a doctor you will excel in whatever you choose to do, I'm a doctor myself and to some extent i think medical school prepared me enough for anything in life trading inclusive..anyway, its always your call to make.. bless up!
@@yenubenantmoiko9656 I agree with you generally, all though if you just spent the time it takes to become a doctor on learning from Michael, I think your time is spent better because why go through all the hoops of becoming a doctor if your never gonna use it. If you decide to be a doctor for a while that's ok but imo (at least in my country) your kinda fricked if you get a well paid job because you essentially pay taxes for like 3 people. With trading and having your own company you could save a lot of cash to not pay tons of taxes.

I have been studying your lectures since December and have found a model based on daily order blocks and fair value gaps, and for the first time since I started trading (1 year) I have become a break even trader which is like super exciting for me because it means I’m gaining understanding and am close to profitability. Hi Michael, thank you for posting the mentorship. I have followed quite a few different approaches and watched 100's if not 1000's of hours of youtube videos. Yours is the first series I have watched through and then I have gone back to the beginning and watching again, taking loads of notes, doing the homework and putting in the time. Totally get the importance of taking your time with this as the second time through I am picking up so much more than the first time. This was a tough lesson to go through, im not gonna lie. Would be cool to see more examples of this structure to be able to grasp it better :) Amazing teaching as always!
I'm in the same boat. I feel like I need a better explanation of WHY these Long Term Highs and Lows are what they are to prevent incorrectly marking structure points. Cause 90% of the FVGs that I've backtested do not fill the entire gap. So its not exactly cookie cutter perfect like in the example he used here. This is something that I feel should be explained on a full top down example.
I know you said you don't like being idolized but I won't be able to feel comfortable without telling you how much I appreciate the content. I've been studying on the charts with live data and backtesting since January 28 every single day and the information has truly been eye opening. Thanks ICT for answering my question about which swing low-high to use! Now I see why you were not answering it in 1 simple statement: it is a lot more advanced. At the same time, I am sure that many people will ignore this lesson, do part of the work and then say "ICT stuff doesn't work". Please do not feel discouraged. How do you determine if BSL/SSL has been exhausted? Or if a FVG has been filled? Simple. Validate using market structure :). Observe how ICT marked up the swing highs and swing lows, especially the swing highs (they were never violated) and you would find the answer. Understand that these swings are a 3 candle pattern :). Note: if price is bullish, swing highs must not be violated and vice versa.
After months of rewatching this video almost 10 times I now understand it perfectly well. It's why I am commenting now. This is gold. I infected my mind with flawed smart money teaching on UA-cam that made it really difficult to understand what you are talking about. I ve had to gradually remove those flawed logic from my brain which isn't easy I must say. Your intepretation of market structure becomes easy to spot when you understand it. The key take away is to note that an ITH AND ITL has 2 classifications....Damn!! in all sincerity your teachings are hard to grasp but if we your students put in the work, the sky will be the starting point. We are so grateful for all of the hard work ICT puts into making this information available FOR FREE. I would like to better understand the distinction between Intermediate and Short-Term Highs/Lows. It was clear from the episode that the Intermediate-Term closes imbalances AND is typically flanked by a Short-Term H/L on each side; however, I noticed that in the price action examined today, two of the Short-Terms (14602.1 and 14565.8) also traded into areas of imbalance. It would be greatly appreciated if what makes them different can be further clarified. Thank you in advance.

Been practicing on demo for almost two years, whilst learning SMT from various sources. Since watching this series (I became aware of ICT over a year ago), I have had my first consistent month, which has finished above BE. I'll keep working at this to achieve my objectives. Put in the effort and time and I know I'll get there.
I literally have the same journey as you. Mine is just nearing 2 years this month. I haven't jumped into the live market with these techniques yet (still testing them on the demo). Though I have no regrets as I'm definitely taking to heart what was said at the end of episode 10 which was to have fun learning and not to stress on missing out by not going into the markets RIGHT NOW or getting it right, RIGHT NOW. These are concepts that will take time to master, and will repeat again and again. Plus ICT(Micheal), hasn't even completed the full series yet with there being more topics to cover and market intricacies to know and learn. So there is no need to rush. Just remember to enjoy the process so that learning becomes more fun and engaging. But that's just my mindset right now.

Even after studying price action for the last year and a half with no indicators or any other bs. (learning from you and others you've taught) This finally feels like one of the final puzzle pieces that really goes in depth and explains why each part of the pa happens. I can't imagine this makes a ton of sense if you're new to trading but if you have a good grasp on how the market moves already, this is pure gold right here.
Well that's because as he's stated, we will not find these types of concepts or teachings anywhere else. So we're basically learning the simpler concepts that have been watered down/interpreted differently from other people. Now that we are learning from the source, it feels like finding the missing pieces to a puzzle. But like you have said, this is probably just as confusing as anything else for complete beginners to pure price action analysis.

I just want to thank you for all your efforts because not everyone will take out their time to do this, i am new to trading and i paid for a course learnt a few things but i was still not able to trade effectively because i didn’t know how to make the right entries came across your UA-cam video link on someone’s page on Twitter at a time i was feeling so down because of a losing streak, i have watched all twelve videos and i will be completely honest this what have been looking for, simple price action reading, i will watch all videos again because i still haven’t wrapped my head around everything but i know that with time i will be able to read price effectively, all i need to do is put in the work like you said and i am determined to do so. This is some crazy good content, I can tell that 10 watches from now I'll still be learning something new. What amazes me the most is how much time must've gone into developing these theories. I have a background in computer science as well but I'm sure I wouldn't be obsessive enough to figure out half of these concepts. Hats off to the blood sweat and tears you poured into this

Michael is like my second father haha. He is the "rich dad" in Rich dad Poor dad from Robert Kiyosaki's book. The right mindset and knows what he's doing. Teaching the most powerful skill one could ever have. While my "poor dad" who is my real dad, wants me to become a doctor lol. I love my real dad, but I know who I want to take advices from... If you've read the book you'll understand what I'm talking about :)

lol...you can be a doctor and still do great, in fact i would say to some extent if you become a doctor you will excel in whatever you choose to do, I'm a doctor myself and to some extent i think medical school prepared me enough for anything in life trading inclusive..anyway, its always your call to make.. bless up!
@@yenubenantmoiko9656 I agree with you generally, all though if you just spent the time it takes to become a doctor on learning from Michael, I think your time is spent better because why go through all the hoops of becoming a doctor if your never gonna use it. If you decide to be a doctor for a while that's ok but imo (at least in my country) your kinda fricked if you get a well paid job because you essentially pay taxes for like 3 people. With trading and having your own company you could save a lot of cash to not pay tons of taxes.

I have been studying your lectures since December and have found a model based on daily order blocks and fair value gaps, and for the first time since I started trading (1 year) I have become a break even trader which is like super exciting for me because it means I’m gaining understanding and am close to profitability. Hi Michael, thank you for posting the mentorship. I have followed quite a few different approaches and watched 100's if not 1000's of hours of youtube videos. Yours is the first series I have watched through and then I have gone back to the beginning and watching again, taking loads of notes, doing the homework and putting in the time. Totally get the importance of taking your time with this as the second time through I am picking up so much more than the first time. Will most likely go back and do it a third time in the coming weeks. My guess is that if you want to see more of this go back through past charts and find them. That way you know that you know them.
I'm in the same boat. I feel like I need a better explanation of WHY these Long Term Highs and Lows are what they are to prevent incorrectly marking structure points. Cause 90% of the FVGs that I've backtested do not fill the entire gap. So its not exactly cookie cutter perfect like in the example he used here. This is something that I feel should be explained on a full top down example.

How do you determine if BSL/SSL has been exhausted? Or if a FVG has been filled? Simple. Validate using market structure :). Observe how ICT marked up the swing highs and swing lows, especially the swing highs (they were never violated) and you would find the answer. Understand that these swings are a 3 candle pattern :).
Note: if price is bullish, swing highs must not be violated and vice versa.
After months of rewatching this video almost 10 times I now understand it perfectly well. It's why I am commenting now. This is gold. I infected my mind with flawed smart money teaching on UA-cam that made it really difficult to understand what you are talking about. I ve had to gradually remove those flawed logic from my brain which isn't easy I must say. Your intepretation of market structure becomes easy to spot when you understand it. The key take away is to note that an ITH AND ITL has 2 classifications....Damn!! in all sincerity your teachings are hard to grasp but if we your students put in the work, the sky will be the starting point. Another AMAZING episode! We are learning so much more than we could have ever anticipated about how price action really works. We are so grateful for all of the hard work ICT puts into making this information available FOR FREE. I would like to better understand the distinction between Intermediate and Short-Term Highs/Lows. It was clear from the episode that the Intermediate-Term closes imbalances AND is typically flanked by a Short-Term H/L on each side; however, I noticed that in the price action examined today, two of the Short-Terms (14602.1 and 14565.8) also traded into areas of imbalance. It would be greatly appreciated if what makes them different can be further clarified. Thank you in advance.

Been practicing on demo for almost two years, whilst learning SMT from various sources. Since watching this series (I became aware of ICT over a year ago), I have had my first consistent month, which has finished above BE. I'll keep working at this to achieve my objectives. Put in the effort and time and I know I'll get there.

I literally have the same journey as you. Mine is just nearing 2 years this month. I haven't jumped into the live market with these techniques yet (still testing them on the demo). Though I have no regrets as I'm definitely taking to heart what was said at the end of episode 10 which was to have fun learning and not to stress on missing out by not going into the markets RIGHT NOW or getting it right, RIGHT NOW.
These are concepts that will take time to master, and will repeat again and again. Plus ICT(Micheal), hasn't even completed the full series yet with there being more topics to cover and market intricacies to know and learn. So there is no need to rush. Just remember to enjoy the process so that learning becomes more fun and engaging. But that's just my mindset right now.

Even after studying price action for the last year and a half with no indicators or any other bs. (learning from you and others you've taught) This finally feels like one of the final puzzle pieces that really goes in depth and explains why each part of the pa happens. I can't imagine this makes a ton of sense if you're new to trading but if you have a good grasp on how the market moves already, this is pure gold right here.
Well that's because as he's stated, we will not find these types of concepts or teachings anywhere else. So we're basically learning the simpler concepts that have been watered down/interpreted differently from other people.
Now that we are learning from the source, it feels like finding the missing pieces to a puzzle. But like you have said, this is probably just as confusing as anything else for complete beginners to pure price action analysis.
