In this episode of Tekniq, we shall explore the versatility of rail tracks in different parts of the world for innovative methods of commute besides traditional trains.
Ada ada saja saya pun pernah tertipu sampe macet beberapa kebelakang mobil di belakang saya nungu kereta lewat sudah nungu lama ternyata yang lewat kereta orang pulang ankut tebu hanya sebesar mobil dan pas lewat kereta terbuka seperti itu tapi lucu juga sih
I wish we could enjoy the Old Tails in this manner. When I was about 13 years old I and another kid built a Motorized Rail Vehicle and we had plans to travel the Northern Missouri Rails they had abandoned. But that was a short lived dream. The Cities covered the Crossings with Asphalt and the Rail Road would remove sections of Rail so they would never be used again. We did get to travel from St. Joseph. Missouri to Troy Kansas and cross the Old Turn Bridge before they even stopped that. We traveled the Old Chicano Great Western Tracks from St. Joseph, Mo. to Savannah , Mo, 15 miles several times and that even was stopped by Gunhoe Cops who loved harassing kids. People in America has no true idea what a real adventure is anymore. We took an Old Heavy home made wooden fishing boat and launched it in the Missouri River and three of we boys all younger than fifteen years old floated down the Missouri River from The Water Works in St. Joseph , Mo . all the way down to just North of Atchison , Kansas and was forced out o the River by a Sheriff Patrol Boat. It was so funny, We all loved it, But the Cops and some nosey Adults raised all kinds of crap with us and they took the boat and we never seen it again.

Justru mereka bisa diikutsertakan menjaga dan memelihara keberadaan rel kereta yg jarang dipakai karena mereka merasa memanfaatkan keberadaannya. Bahkan kalau di Indonesia rel kereta yg terbengkalai (tidak dilalui kereta lagi) bisa hilang dijarah, dijual dan dipakai pagar besinya.

Sayang sekali krn layak untuk adventur seperti ini / The old railway line between Banjar and Cijulang would be perfect for this kind of transport except that the rails have been "appropriated" . The railway bridges and tunnels on this relatively short branch line are spectacular!

Bem, tudo indica, esses meios de transporte precários que parecem estranhos, creio, são buscas de solução das pessoas mais simples e humildes que não dispõem de renda para viver, e precisam trabalhar. E, nesse sentido, de alguma forma precisam também se locomoverem com mais rapidez para alcançarem os pontos comerciais mais avançados que dão sustentação aos seus negócios, por exemplo, na reposição de mercadoria que vendem em pequenos pontos de venda de alimentos, material de higiene, etc. Aí essas pessoas empreendedoras olham para os trilhos que ligam sua localidade aos grandes centros comerciais, e usam a inteligência para bolar o meio de transporte que os leve e os traga da maneira mais econômica possível...
