Trapper J is back! You're video couldn't come at a better time brother! Woke up this morning and my busted up knee was hurting me something fierce! Hobbled to the coffe pot and went straight to the couch, turned on UA-cam and seen a notification from Trapper J and everything felt better! haha still wish I could be out there doing it myself this year but we've been having shit weather here. Anyway! It should be well below 0 f here but we got rain! The ground is frozen still so all the rain is just pooling on top and freezing everybody's traps in...that's part of trapping though! If everything went according to plan wed never be surprised haha Luv that wolf fang stake puller you got! Looks beast! Great to see ya stacking them dogs! I couldn't imagine my dogs getting torn up by yotes :O they got the right man for the job though! Put a hurtin on em for me and tell your friend that I'm sorry for his loss! I like dogs better than most people lol so I feel it when someone loses their dogs like that!

The cable restraint catches were always my favorite. Nice work! That first coyote looked like the best one to me.
Much respect for the 1.5 coil spring trap. I use both Duke and Victor traps. I have caught and held fox, coon, bobcat, coyote beaver and otter in 1.5 cs traps.

Hey T.J. Thanks for responding to last post. Congrats on big day. Have two requests today. 1 can u do a vid. “Grading the fur pelts of All the species u trap. And 2. Can u do a vid of selling the furs, do u haggle/negotiate, does the “market” fluctuate season to season/month to month. In other words show the transaction to the NEXT step of what happens to the raw pelts... please. Lastly I wrote in asking do u ever harvest the meat for your pets or others’ pets? Sell to your local zoo or???
Awesome trapping there J.. I love them Dukes.. the 1 1/12 is what I started with and they still work great to this day.. Had more catches in them than my Duke square jaws.. I love them blind set to, I just started to use them a lot this season and it's been working out great. Keep up the awesome videos bro.. I look forward to watching them....

Man, their getting as populated as deer around these parts as well, North Central NC, just below Martinsville, Va.(if ya keep up with Nascar) and LOTSA people think it's dog's. I've had to take a yote by and show it to even old-timers who thought I was crazy ! I killed 2 with muzzle loader before I saw the first damn deer! A Lady came in Tractor supply with her 70lbs. Lab. it was chewed up BAD in the neck,butt, hind legs, over 200 stitches&staples ! Her neighbor saved it when he heard it screaming mid. day, woke him up out of third shift sleep... 3 yotes had hold the poor dog, he shot killed 2 of them and said he wounded the other one,. Thank God, an the quick an steady shot neighbor ! Didnt want so long a reply, but it is bad when they coming up broad day light and attacking Pep's animal's !
I agree with you about the duke traps I made a set with a duke #2 and got a skunk somehow and I hope the meat from the skunk meat will work for traps because I don’t have any sent or lure and I have just been using whatever I can find

Nice work J. Heck yeah you should be stoked awesome job !! I I felt the same way with a 3 red fox catch today. You sure put together some awesome videos. Also great way of advertisement for the Duke trap, with that coyote hind leg catch. That's two outstanding catches with the 1 1/2 Duke trap with a monster beaver and now a coyote 👍

I’ve caught several coyotes in duke 1.5’s here in Alabama. I don’t target them with the 1.5’s but I’ve never had a problem holding em with em with minimal damage to the traps. Good strong traps that don’t break the bank. Love my dukes
Oh and you’re definitely correct it sucks to have to let a deer out of a trap.
I've always luved night checks and this is exactly why, good work !

Great video as always!! I made a stake puller. I used 1.5 square tubing. Made it 5ft long works great. Like to see a video on building the drowning rods. Like the snaring!!

My elderly mother have a coyote problem and her knowledge of me watching your videos and me telling her about them she has asked me to take care of the problem I've tried calling them and few up all nights and now her great Pyrenees is gone from trying to protect her property any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for your time
