- The month of May marks 2 years since we moved our family off-grid to build our home from the ground up. With neither of us having any prior building experience, we took the risk and made the leap to figure it out as we went along and to pay for the build with cash from our savings and Josh's full time job to ensure we remained debt free throughout the build. Today's video includes a short recap of our first year and then focuses on the progress we have made during our second year of home building. We have come so far in the last two years but we still have a long ways to go. All our progress from this point is still being documented on our channel. I am Brazilian, and I have been following you since I met the strength of the will of the couple. As it is good to see success stories like yours, the video editions give us an idea, but nowhere near what was the exhausting and unstoppable work to make your home really, congratulations, and thanks for sharing this sensational experience , you deserve the best in life.

When I discovered the site about you, I thought it would be just another site about building a house.
But the truth is that this film is not about a house, but about the strength of love, companionship, friendship, understanding, affection in the eyes, exchanging words of encouragement and everything a relationship needs. lol...They're not even 1/2 way done. The second half starts pretty soon with the whole bedroom addition at the back. 4 bedrooms and bathrooms...another 2 year build

There's other off grid builder channels out there but WWOG is my favorite. Informative, entertaining, and at times hilarious.. Josh and Erin have been blessed with talent and a drive to see things through. You guys truly are the defination of what a family should be. I have watched your channel for over a year and feel so privileged to be able to peek in on the unfolding of your myth. Your successes will be the things of legend shared for generations in your family. Your great, great, great grandchildren will speak one day in awe of the legend that the two of you will become.

@@charlesmasclef1309 It really is! I found the triangular shape genius and the big windows inspiring. To think it blends so well with the nature around just show how great of a construction it is. Oh and the solar panels, loved that they get their own energy from the sun.
