The Jake Origin Story: I grew up with glasses, 5.00 diopter high myopia, and yet today have 20/20 natural eyesight. No surgery, no glasses, I figured out how myopia actually works and how to reverse it (and no, not eye exercises!) The mainstream tells you it's impossible - but the whole concept that myopia is an illness, is complete unscientific nonsense (a 100 billion dollar a year profitable nonsense, though).

Thank you!
Thanks Jake! Thanks Alex! I'm enjoying all these podcasts - relevant questions, excellent tips and real encouragement to persevere. Also enjoying the variety of interviewees, ordinary people from all walks of life. Have noticed a line used by just about everyone re discovering the endmyopia method - "it made sense"!
Jake, your videos may not be polished but there is no doubting you are genuine which counts for a lot!
Thanks Jake ❤️ I hope you tell us more about those little tweaks and adjustments of the last diopter when improvement gets stuck.
Simply amazing... and I have to thank Alex so much because I discovered Endmyopia watching one of his video in September 2019!
That's awesome! So glad to hear my video helped someone find endmyopia!!
Thanks for the mention, Alex! Great job on improving your vision. It's interesting to hear when people have a moment that they just know they can fix their eyesight. Keep going and we'll look forward to hearing when you're consistently 20/20
Thanks! You too! Hoping to be 20/20 this year!!!
@@alexwharton7407 from your video here, sounds like you'll do it!
@@alexwharton7407 did you do it?
@@someone-jl4sj no, still not 20/20. It gets a little harder to improve when you get to low myopia and it was hard for me to keep pushing after reaching 20/40. I'll get there! I just need to buckle down, spend more time outside and wear plus lenses while I'm working.
@@alexwharton7407 Thanks for your reply.
Jake, you are the man! YOU should get millions of views! You have a fine looking face! and if even you didn't (which you do) , it wouldn't matter because the content is important!!!
These are very helpful
Really enjoyed watching this. Very motivating and encouraging!
Did you link to Alex's videos or channel anywhere? I can't spot it.
Added to description. 😋
Jake, are you sure that your vision becomes less clear in the evening because of the eye strain just like you described in your daily e-mails? I'm pretty sure it's because of the sun, in the morning it's the brightest and lights up the room extremely well, it's way better than using any artificial light you may have.
Jake Please show how to buy your Active focus classes ....and provide one demo of your paid videos.. PLEASE JAKE

I agree Jake, plus is important while being less than 20/50 -1 diopter, otherwise it doesn t make sense..Last year I wore - 2 left and -right 1,75. Now I am negative -075 and plus for near work helps a lot. It accelerates the process and protects while doing lot of close up nowadays..
How much did you use plus lenses? I have around - 1,25 dpt and I'm struggling
only for close up: book or iphone...it creates outdoor environment while doing close work..
@@mikke6903 Sure, I wouldn't go outside with plus lenses.
So every time doing close up.
Which diopters do you have for the plus lenses?
+2 dioters at home and +1 at work..But I use them at work not more than 40 % of the time while doing close up..
@@mikke6903 okay, thanks for replying!
+2 at home and +1 at work because of books and phone that require a lower distance or to focus completely on work rather doing active focus at work?
Interesting to see how much Mr. Wharton's eyes move about.
I remember (sort of) having 20/30 vision when I was 13 and I was upset at the time but in hindsight it was really good vision. I wasn’t guessing the 20/30 line and didn’t have any ghosting or double vision or anything though. If I could get back to that I don’t know if I would even care about pushing beyond to true 20/20 especially when you consider presbyopia. I’m in my mid 40’s now so it’s not an abstract what if that might happen 20 years from now 😂. Although if you do a lot of night driving then maybe getting that 20/20 would be nice.
Im standing kn my left leg, drinking my coffe , while looking at my two a clock and asking my swlf: whats on jake steiner mind
That’s always my fear not passing the DMV test. My left is -2.50 and left is -4.50
I am not able to join jake 's facebook group help me
.. yep being a ‘youtuber’ is very much presentation, marketing in various ways, and frequency. Not necessarily the content.
Do you suggest wearing close up contacts for close up the same way with glasses. I'm considering getting contacts lens that are 1 diopter weaker than my regular contacts for up close. I mean I do it with glasses don't see why contacts would be different. I would just have to remember not to drive in them lol.
Glasses and contacts have different prescriptions because of the distance from your eye. Do your research from others experience first.
How do you buy glasses online ?
I'm a new guy in this channel and i wear - 1.5 glasses.
from where should i start??
If i was that low a prescription, my glasses would be going straight in the bin. But if you're not ready for that, i'd start reading at endmyopia and binge watching this channel.
Dont wear ur glasses for close up and wear -1 glasses for far
Try using 1.25. If I was low as you I wouldn't even wear glasses for up close. If your having problems reading up close without glasses I suggest trying- .25 or -.50.
thanks beasts
Did you improve your vision using active focus
Hello. I have -2.5 on my right eye and -2.75 on my left eye. I have found this chanel today and i read some commets of people about their improvement. This is really good. In these years doctors forces us to wear glasses, or to make laser operation. I am afraid of this operation. And of course i want to improve my eyesight too. Please someone help me. Where should i begin? What should i do?
Note: my english is not very well ,that is way i couldn't understand videos clearly. And that is way i couldn't get " from where should i begin."
You begin with computer glasses or what Jake calls differentials. Usually about 1.25 diopters lower. But to understand all of this better, it’s best to sign up for the 7day email, watch the videos again and again and join a chat group to learn from others. Many, many people in these groups are not first language English so that isn’t a problem
@@JK-ox2kp how can i join 7day mail ?
Start on the website endmyopia.org use the search button, look up 7day email. Also, watch Jake’s videos and join the Facebook group to see what others are doing
@@RE-lp7ji how is your eyes now?
I had -4 in both of my eyes.what should i do to get rid of glass .please help me
Did u try active focus? Did it help
Angie Hepp is the business.
No doubt! 👍🏻
Yes! Very thankful for her videos!!
@@alexwharton7407 Indeed. She's the best recruiter for the Jake Steiner way Jake Steiner's got.
I have a question that wearing lower prescription will increase diopters..?
lol, learn what a diopter is first.
Wearing lower prescription does not progress myopia. In endmyopia, you wear a lower prescription because it allows you to active focus throughout the day. So for example, normally you could wear glasses that are a bit weaker say your 20/20 prescription is -5 but you wear -4 throughout the day. then for close up, you would have another weaker pair of glasses like -2.5 or something like rhat
@@mastertrey4683 thank you sir
I blink my eyes then my vision is little clear but I can't hold my eyes to blink and when i blink again the vision is again blurry what can i do to active focus
That’s active focus. Well done. It gets easier and you can hold it for longer over time. Sign up for the 7day email, watch the videos and join gone of the groups -Facebook will be a good start
Did active focus help u to reduce Dioptres?
For Angie's video I think the reason why it has a lot of views is probably because UA-cam has mostly a younger audience. In the comments you'll notice a lot of young people. People like it where they can to relate to especially if it's a problem they're facing (eg myopia). Also her being an enthusiastic young woman also probably helps lol.
IM RELATABLE. YOUNG PEOPLE LOVE ME. GET OFF MY LAWN!!! 😂😬😋

After living for years like a mole in a blurred dark world I finally decided that eyesight can't be improved and was about to buy glasses and wanted to have some final check up on UA-cam and there I found Engie. I thought she looks attractive and so I will watch the video 😂 here I am now still a mole but in glasses and with a hope
i got a minus 0.5 description should i wear glases?
When you're doing close up stuff like reading, smartphone, games take them off, when you drive or use them to see things far away put them on.
You dont need glasses at all bruh. If you have a -0.5 prescription then it’s probably just the result of a ciliary spasm. Don’t use glasses you can really frick up your eyes. Living with .5 uncorrected diopters is perfectly fine. Thats enough for driving, reading distant text, basically everything. If you wear glasses and that -0.5 becomes a -1 then a -2 then a -3 you will not be happy. Be happy with your current vision it is completely average and wonderfully adequate.
@@mastertrey4683 yea i kinda figured that out when the occultist told me with my prescription id be run over by cars on the road cause i cant see 😂😂😂 just some cheap tricks to fool people to buy glasses
thanks man
My younger brother is minus 0.75 in both eyes and never wears glasses unless he's driving at night.
