I was privileged to perform this song at girls' camp for our young women. It was my first girls' camp (as a leader or a girl...since I am a convert.) It gave me hope to see all these wonderful young ladies who are truly a light for the world. I pray that our church will continue to shine as a beacon for the nations.
This song has made me stronger. I never knew I could use my light to get to others. THANK YOU!!! And yes I am mormon and I am proud to be! NO ONE can EVER make me sad to be a mormon.

We sang this song for camp. The 5th and 6th years sang the beginning and we went around and lit the other girl's candles, then everyone sang at the end... it was amazing!!

This song made me cry! I love Jenny Phillips. She has created the perfect way to get younger youths involved without using the ways of the world! I will always use Jenny Phillips as an example for sharing her talents for the church.

I love this song. It helps me rise above all the chaos of the world. I showed this to a friend and told her about the church and now she is reading the Book of Mormon ad wanting to come to church with me. I am so thankful for Jenny Phillips. Every time I hear this I start to cry with happiness. I first heard this when my Mom and her twin were singing this when I was only 9.

At Girls Camp we sang it on Testimony and spirit walk night. It was dark.
It started with verse sang by a YCL, when she started singing she turned her flashlight and pointed it up at the ceiling of the pavilion, then 6 YCLs start singing and turn on their flashlights upward. All the YCL's join in next . Then the 3rd and 4th years join in (including me!). Then the 2nd years join in. And the last verse the 1st years joined it. In the end the spirit was strong and the pavilion was bright and happy.

I know it was 2014, but it was like the same spirit of 2005 to 2008 wayyy early years of UA-cam. When folks were supposed to be 13 as minimum age and yet millions of views were by intelligent houdini's who wrangled their family laptops and stuff. When parents and older children, college students go online and were like "OH NO🥶I was logged in and only left for an hour".
Before all this UA-cam Kids stuff had wierd videos and made a whole slew of older lighthearted but not terribly immature videos non-playlist-able 'cause the current algorithm is retarded enough to say Kids Only and then proceeds to directly go from serve alcohol ads on the Same UA-cam Kids videos. Like ???
Just the other week there was an account targeting youth and children which was promoting self-harm to children. I found it after detecting an affiliated bot/cell farm account with 7 figures of fake views boosting over a thousand videos. Maybe a month before there were definitely I think it was Rum and tequila ads with some random OG UA-cam re-post/rebranded UA-cam Kids Video which could not be saved to personal playlist. Then yo ulook at the playlists and there are holes from videos getting deleted, yet Bot boosted videos stay.
Nowadays Gen3 is in a few ways re-sparking Gen1 and pre-Gen1 good old days, but it takes time and a lot of education for younger generations to be taught that AI faked profiles and camera filters collecting personal data are actually not good, that being with people outside and interacting in real life is better than online, but that online has a time and place and that supporting music artists and record labels both hard copy and streaming matters.
Lots of people have expressed frustration for machine learning/algorithm optimized (SEO/SEM) fraud or not, bot-boosted fatigue... clickbait frustration and stolen comments, generic comments by scripted accounts... and so forth
Older videos with semi-hibernated comment strings (pre-2011.5 music) can be solid, sometimes exactly what one needs during the day to boost them. Not to forget EFY/etc music like this.
