Thanks for this. Our family is moving back to the Finger Lakes after I've been in Colorado for 35 years. This sweetened the deal for the grandkids! So excited to come back home. Great video. Thanks for taking the time!
your little tadpoles fearless in the water. i love it. i'm going to treman park in august, just for that swimming hole. i saw it a couple years ago on a nnys site & have planning to go there since. i want to check out these other two too. i'm retired & finally in a place where i can enjoy my life fully. i can't wait!!
Thanks Mahjid appreciate the comment and glad you could see the beauty around Ithica! Next time take a jump off the diving board at Robert Treman too! Such a cool place!
@@Famvestor omg! Just left taughannock! Chilled out at Ithaca falls earlier! Both absolutely spectacular! A nice couple at taughennock was just raving about the diving board at treeman. Staying an extra night to check it. Lol! Thanks for the suggestion! Bless u & urs!!! 🙏🏾
FamVestor Blessings! Glad u asked. I had to go back to Taughannock to get some extra pix/vids. Met a wonderful couple on their way to get married at the falls. But we were leaving to goto treeman, so we missed the wedding at Taughannock falls. SMH!!! I will post pix/vids and it will include the couple. We made it to Lucifer falls and that was breathtaking! Once I edit the pix/vids, I will be sure to post the link for u. Thanks for asking! 🙏🏾💯✨
Hi! Thanks for the video!! Where was the little slide that you slid down and your son did as well? Was it close to the main swimming pool of the Robert freeman swim area?
I went to Treman park quite a bit 50 years ago. Everything looks the same except the falls. I wish I had pictures from back then to see if my memory is wrong or if the falls changed a bit.
Great video. Thank you. You mentioned something about parks being free if you camp. Can you elaborate? Does this mean that if you camp at one park, then day use at other parks is free? Is this for all parks in the Finger Lakes region or only certain ones?
Hmm good question. I believe the day pass they give you is good for any NY state park but am not 100% sure, but I know it was definitely good for all 3 of the state parks we visited.
There can be a charge to enter a state park, like Green Lakes State park to enter and swim for the day it’s $10. If you’re already camping there then access to the park is included (I believe that’s what they mean)
Nice are all sites open now i wanna go there for 4 days .. Any recommendations for the camp sites i wanna camp 2 nights in buttermilk and the rest on other sites thankyoy
IMPORTANT- please do NOT swim at the ITHACA FALLS-- people have died there due to the undertow! I had to let you know, because the end of the vid it sounded like someone said you can go there. It's not a matter of allowed to or not, it's a serious matter of possible DEATH. Just wanted to let you know and avoid tragedy with the kids and adults (Also sign about lead in the rocks) but still beautiful :) just don't swim. Treman is awesome and other places. This was for specifically the falls called 'Ithaca Falls' not all the falls in Ithaca. Have a good one :)

i'm camping up there in august, the rest of the park is free seniors are free weekdays in all state parks, yippie!
great share
Curious how was it with an infant? Our 2nd will be roughly 6 months?
Idk it was fine but we have 4 kids now and take our kids camping all the time. I’d say go for it!
Fantastic. Used to swim in all these holes 30 years ago. Great memories
Yea one of my favorite places. Planning to take the family camping there again in 2024.

Hmm we didnt camp at buttermilk so not sure. emjoy!
It is great trip Bro...is there any fees for swimming in Robert treeman fall ?
Johnny JOE $7 per car parking fee. But free if you camp there.
Awesome video! We also visited Buttermilk Falls few months ago. There is a video on our channel in case you are interested.
Sounds great!
Hi i enjoyed your video. Is the hike to all falls you went easy and manageable?
I would say so... our 3 year old walked the whole thing.
FamVestor Thanks 😊
@@Famvestor hello, was the campsites far from the waterfalls?
@@sashabaez742 Its not far, but with covid they made the loop one way, so you have to hike a mile or so before the first waterfall.
