At time marker 2:58 is where I learned to swim 55 yrs ago at age 5! I have so many wonderful childhood memories from camping there with my family. We also had many of our family reunions there. My family is from this area, though we're all spread out across the country now and several family members have passed on. This is such a beautiful place...makes me nostalgic just watching your video.

I love that place. We went there one day to find a wedding happening right there on the upper overlook area. They used a boom box to play some country song. Can't remember the song, wish I did. It was a very small wedding. Great choice!

Happy Birthday Kayla! I have never seen Enfield Falls (lower falls) flow that heat before. About midway through that i actually said out loud that i need to get back down there. That gorge trail is stunning. Great video!

@GailMK - In case you haven't gone yet, you can see the best of the upper gorge with relatively minimal elevation changes (perhaps less than 100 stairs-steps compared to over 400 if you make their full loop) by walking from 4:00 to a spot that overlooks down the gorge at about 6:00 at a sharp left turn in the trail, then turn around to walk back up to the 4:00 spot. Still a lovely walk with plenty of stone walls to sit on for rest breaks and to just take in the surroundings. By the way, there is an historic old gristmill with interpretive signage that is open during the summer months next to the creek behind her at 3:45.
