I was born in Bihar but brought up in Kolkata. I did my schooling in Kolkata. Since my childhood days to as of now, I have noticed that many food joints/food carts have mushroomed over streets of kolkata. Dalhousie square areas including railways offices areas which are popularly known as office para are flooded with delicious and tasty food joints. The food joints spread across these areas surve delicious,tasty and pocket friendly food items.

Kolkata is a people's place , not a show off monger like Delhi . Food and the delicacies are a biiiiiig variety . The misnomer that Bengalees eat only 'Maach Bhaat ' is rubbish . The cuisine has no end, you name it and you get it dear .
