I'm a Chelsea fan. I've never liked Carragher. I feel sorry for him. He's human at the end of the day, and I don't think he spat with the intention of it hitting this guy's daughter. The driver of the car seemed like he won the lottery "Jamie Carragher spat at my daughter... nice :)". Maybe get off your phone and focus on the road and get your daughter safely home like a decent dad. This whole thing is a storm in a tea cup and Jamie doesn't deserve to lose his job over it.
Agreed. He made no attempt to give excuses or justify his actions, it was a very genuine apology. Perhaps he should be suspended temporarily as punishment because his actions can’t go unpunished. But after a suspension he should be allowed back
Wow. He obviously misbehaved, but this interrogation including them watching the video together and she putting him down like she were his mother.... This must be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen on Tv 😶 Not to forget the two quotes, this is insane 😅
Barry Stanton Looks like the daughter is filming in the passenger seat as far as I can tell. Edit: Never mind the presenter, confirmed that the driver was on his phone. Although it does look like the perspective from the passenger seat
At 8:08 Jamie is asked a question which shouldn't of been said by Sarah Hewson and obviously Jamie's actions were disgraceful but we can see how apologetic and sorry he is and at this stage,so he nearly cries aswell which shows how much pressure the interviewer is putting him under.
I feel this is Sky's way of keeping him. The fact that they have publicly laid into him on their channel show's the public that they are dealing with this head on. I may be wrong. As for the incident yes it's terrible but what of all the footballers who have spat at opponents during their careers? They weren't sacked were they? 6 match ban etc. He didn't say it but the man is passionate about his team and was upset. Give the man credit for facing up to it and for sitting through that interview. She almost made me cry!
Steven Gerrard can physically assault another person in public and go on to become a presenter with BT Sport, Zinedine Zidane can headbutt another player in the world cup final and become the manager at Real Madrid, Wayne Rooney pleaded guilty to drink driving but 6 months ago. Everyone forgets and moves on, how dare anyone criticise this guy. The list goes on....hypocrisy.... hypocrisy everywhere!
Presenter comes across as punishing, sanctimonious and vindictive, putting the guy to the sword repeatedly for public entertainment. Awful interview. He did the wrong thing, and clearly acknowledges that and takes full responsibility for his mistake, but the interviewer ignores that and just keeps ramping up the public punishment and humiliation.
Stephen Yates the lady's supposed to make it worse for him. he done a disgusting unacceptable thing and shamed sky news/sports too so the viewers want to see this guy get punished!, not be sympathized by the interviewer!
It’s a kind of road rage. For some inexplicable reason people behave differently behind the wheel of a motor car. If he had been walking down the street,I believe he would have just ignored these people and walked away.

Madcap Dan nicely said!
Madcap Dan agreed
Madcap Dan
Well said
Agreed. He made no attempt to give excuses or justify his actions, it was a very genuine apology. Perhaps he should be suspended temporarily as punishment because his actions can’t go unpunished. But after a suspension he should be allowed back
👍
he said sorry and even the family and sky forgive him but she is the only one who just won't let go. She is horrible to him
I still wonder how he kept a straight face watching that. I would have cried in laughter
Especially when they ran it back in slo mo
Wow. He obviously misbehaved, but this interrogation including them watching the video together and she putting him down like she were his mother....
This must be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen on Tv 😶
Not to forget the two quotes, this is insane 😅
Completely agree!
Why is no one questioning how the driver got away with using his phone at the wheel?
Barry Stanton Looks like the daughter is filming in the passenger seat as far as I can tell.
Edit: Never mind the presenter, confirmed that the driver was on his phone. Although it does look like the perspective from the passenger seat
Barry Stanton i
Barry Stanton owwwww sorry
There was a slight jam as they were getting out of the institution so it was no biggie afterall no car was even at 3km/h...
At 8:08 Jamie is asked a question which shouldn't of been said by Sarah Hewson and obviously Jamie's actions were disgraceful but we can see how apologetic and sorry he is and at this stage,so he nearly cries aswell which shows how much pressure the interviewer is putting him under.
yea poor jamie,,, lets just spit at ppl and later say we are sorry
@@Hashirazdhj 😂😂
😂
Please fire that interviewer, honestly the worst set of questions ever and was clearly just trying to humiliate him
I feel this is Sky's way of keeping him.
How jamie handled this has made me gain respect for him
Vinnie Jones and Joey Barton giving there opinions and quite right, Both are upstanding gentleman who have always lived like saints 🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Adventador 1 too right ! Haha!
Adventador 1 Vinnie Jones professional hardman down the east end.
Adventador 1
They attack and fight men not spit at girls
cheeckybutnice lol Barton got sent home from pre season training for assulting a 15year old fan
Vinnie Jones did his stuff on the pitch
This feels like a secondary school teacher questioning a pupil for a fight or something
He really wanted to say: Oh STFU!!
Karen's pumpkin spice latte didn't have extra skimmed milk that morning
🤣🤣
Underrated comment! 🤣
Brilliant 🤣😂😂😂😂
Hahahahaha ffs
Steven Gerrard can physically assault another person in public and go on to become a presenter with BT Sport, Zinedine Zidane can headbutt another player in the world cup final and become the manager at Real Madrid, Wayne Rooney pleaded guilty to drink driving but 6 months ago. Everyone forgets and moves on, how dare anyone criticise this guy. The list goes on....hypocrisy....
hypocrisy everywhere!
Momo Thiago Silva he spat on a girl coz he said 2-1 shut ur mouth
The Eclipser so a 14 year old girl said 2-1 even tho it’s a mans voice🤔
Still got his job at Sky
@@charlieoneill9466 lol
@@charlieoneill9466 man said 2-1 then Jamie spit on his daughter
Jamie Carragher spitting on someone is the most SCOUSE thing I’ve ever heard! LOL
Disgusting
She's such a Karen

He doesn’t give a toss really, this apology was about keeping his job. Make no mistake about that!
that woman doing the interveiw is terrible
Probably a man united fan
Stephen Yates the lady's supposed to make it worse for him. he done a disgusting unacceptable thing and shamed sky news/sports too so the viewers want to see this guy get punished!, not be sympathized by the interviewer!
She's an anchor, it's her job to get the greatest response. Idiot.
Left wing feminist.
Mr Musi what about Kirsty Gallagher who was convicted of drink driving??? Doesn't suite your agenda I guess . Clown
Very unprofessional from the reporter. a reporter in an interview should always be unbiased no matter the situation.
Not always
@@5uper5kill3rz always.
It’s a way to forgive him .
@@rohilthomson What about reporting on a terrorist attack. How can a reporter be bias
@@killagamez4619 they shouldn't be. A reporter should only be about facts.
It’s a kind of road rage.
For some inexplicable reason people behave differently behind the wheel of a motor car.
If he had been walking down the street,I believe he would have just ignored these people and walked away.
Fully agree with that andy !
I'm a blue mancunian but i genuinely feel sorry for him , witchhunt underway .
It's a joke Carragher got to keep his job after doing this and Matt Le Tissier get sacked for writing a post on Twitter! 🤬🤬
Matt Le Tissier time was done
We all know why
How is this news. Nobhead drives on his phone. Man spits at him. How is that news? Is the world going mad?
HAHAHLOL123 yes world is mad! Actually some big news stories but no the boneheaded drongo being a boneheaded drongo is somehow news, remarkable!
This bird interviewing him is a right cow 😂
MadHaz she just trying get herself some attention. 😂
Lol mate listening to this interview almost made me piss my pants, fair play to Jamie, def deserves to keep his job after this
He deserves everything he gets. He sums up the modern day footballer.
So happy they decided to keep Carra on. He and Gary are the best thing to happen to British sports shows
I am thinking "How did he come up with such an enormous powerful spit that landed perfectly well on that Vehicle"! Just imagine, the driving speed, the rain, the wind, the angles! The man deserves to compete for Guinness Record! 🤩
