The mid-air slow down when your screen goes red means you got hit with a joint attack starter, and they're waiting for their teammate to follow up on it or not.
Also, a lot of characters have armor sukuna has it on some of his attacks, yuji has it on his kick, Panda has it on just about every attack todo has some, and gojo can stack up multiple hits worth of armor using his passive.

@@Reekeyy the game doesn't have a lot of characters, but in exchange you get huge characters variety with each character feeling completely different to play from one another

Best characters I’ve seen so far are Sukuna, Geto, Mahito, and Yuta. Gojo’s hella strong but his specials are too slow and have no armor it seems. I’ve seen crazy duos with Jogo and Megumi though. It’s cool how everyone’s got different styles
The game is addicting me and my friends be having to change tactics mid match because we be getting washed by sakuna.. so we start jumping 😂😂😂😂

Bro, I fucking love this game. I'm interested to know what, besides graphics, people have taken issue to. I'll try to understand their PoV, but for what it is, I think the game's systems work well within the context of the game.

It's not that bad, it just needs an update...
There are some things that need to be added, not to much cause it's already a good game due to its co-op that is where the wall combos, otg chain, follow throughs and cursed technique (which is super unique for individual characters)..
The thing that needs an update is the way you can't hit enemies when they reach a certain limit of attack (let's say 5 hits)...cause i myself lab sukuna and he have some combo possibilities that I hindered by this thing, I know scaling is needed but 5 hits is pretty short even for a co-op arena fighter...
And you can't also jump cancel or anything that can make you cancel stuff isn't present in the games mechanic, I lab every character and everybody seems to have nothing (any gimmick) that can cause theme to break the game and make them cancel things.
That's opinion but all in all I love this game, the only ones who will not love this beauty are the casuals who don't seem to have ever touched a fighting game in their fricking lives.
I played storm, my hero,and demon slayer so I'm not bias the point here is that people are just stubborn enough to expect a game that will give them chance to mash out of a match and call it a day, they don't like to put in an effort to learn the mechanics of the games to get better just like here in cursed clash that's why it's hated because there's no universal auto combo.
