It’s FEB 2022 and I’m still using my iPhone 7 Plus with confidence. Had the battery changed last year during promotional period and it’s getting me a solid day’s worth of use. Apps such as FB, Instagram, UA-cam run smoothly without hiccups. It’s a really solid phone and the best part, it’s not an OLED display. Yes, the colors and contrast are not as vibrant but I don’t have to deal with the horrible white spots/burn in/image retentions.

Some of the Android phones are really nice with a lot of bells and whistles but for me personally, Apple products just work better and are more durable over time!!!

My battery life on my s6 sucks while my brother has this same phone and he always raves to me about the battery life. The features are also a big reason why I'm switching. Camera quality is great on my s6, but I do appreciate the messaging app on Apple products. I have owned an iPod 4th generation and I currently own an iPad Air(which I use Facetime and iMessage occasionally), I love those features. Two, in my professional life, a phone with a great battery life is a necessity. You never know when you may get an important call or actually need your phone for something else for professional purposes. With all this being said, sayonara Samsung.

I really wish that Samsung's batteries hadn't been so unreliable and dangerous. I was torn between iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Note 7 having had a Galaxy S3 back in a few years ago I loved Samsung's interface. The iOS runs nice and smooth and integration with a Macbook has been great with my iPhone 5S. My biggest impressions from the 7 Plus are great battery life, durability, and the performance of iOS 10. Apple has done a great job again and will continue to create enjoyable phones.
I'm now on my 3rd iphone 7 Plus. First one the speakers went out. And the first and second had issues with the ear phone jack with the sound turning off with calls and playing music. I also had issues with the volume switch. When the volume was turned off my Pandora would come on full blast at work. I was with a friend the other night who had a Samsung and her pictures were beautiful. Last night I went on a hike and I had to edit all my pictures. I've always been told I take beautiful pictures in the past. My Dad owned a camera shop. Also my phone turned off last night while I was sleeping and my alarm didn't go off this morning. I've used my phone for an alarm for years. I noticed my new phone will not allow me again to turn off the volume on music again. Are any other people having issues with their speaker and volume buttons??

Sound is always analog otherwise you won't hear it ;-) and other manufacturers make better waterproof devices with 3.5jack. And no iTS not a lack of space problem there is a dummy speaker in the place of the 3.5mm jack so what reasons are left I ask myself?? Well the 3.5mm port is a well known standard that's bin used by many manufacturers for other uses than sound for example temperature reading scanners and so on all without paying Apple any $$ so that's over now.
