The UK had a very heavy Triad presence in the 90s to 2000s, some well documented gangs and dangerous mainlanders, hope you can get plugged in over here too, your channel is very interesting.
I'm past my young adult years now, but growing up there were those around me who were enticed into joining local gangs on the west coast like Wah Ching and Big Circle. Was even asked once if I'd like to join, but I realized I was more content staying home to play video games and watching some HK Triad movies. Later studied engineering and am working as a software engineer now, but part of me always felt the gang life had this mysterious, dangerous, masculine aura about it. I essentially think a lot of social interactions come down to power and status, regardless of what the context is. Any argument that goes really wrong can only be resolved by either running away or a fight. The gang life is a very raw, unfiltered version of that, and that's why its so fascinating, much more so than how someone succeeded in academics or shit like that, because sheltered guys like myself wouldn't last a minute on the streets with just book smarts (if any). Which is why this is the content I like most now, maybe its what a younger version of me wants to see and be able to "live vicariously". To put it bluntly, part of me wishes I was closer to the action when I was younger, but I was too pussy, and now can only watch this kind of content from the comfort of my sheltered life. And I suppose I made the right choices. I think I found out about Mac through some content related to MC Jin, I grew up speaking Cantonese at home, and moved to NYC not too long ago, so all of this is great content. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Thumbs up! So his father was the big boss, not Onionhead. What a way to end the video! We're staying tuned for part 2 whenever that arrives.
Crazy right? Mac would say his dad was the second in rank/ right hand man or somthing.
Onionhead is machine gun Johnny I guarantee his dad is still alive in china
@@manchuk1d Yeah he thought his dad was 2nd in command cause his pops told on Onion Head (Usually the 2nd tells on the boss not the other way round)
@@AlienOmertaTV kinda reminds me of the whole John Gotti and sammy the bull situation back then.
@@AlienOmertaTV his pops and onion head were splitting huge shipments. They were the main distributors. Not sure there was really a hierarchy between them at the time.
Absolutely amazing video once again!!
Mikey Moy was always a gentleman with me. Nice guy. Chill. Laid back.
I subscribed after this interview
This shit is a movie
Thanks. Be sure to check out other videos on this channel, each character on this channel has a very unique story and background.
We need a follow up on this.. ended too fast..
this is really cool- i hope this channel flourishes- honestly i think it can get better - talk more ask more tell more and then edit
Dope to hear these stories, knew a lot of these dudes from Chinatown Fair.
Mac would wear an onion head shirt. This was a solid interview. Rewatching some of these interviews and seeing Mac dissecting his life. Wild!
This was a great interview
Wow - incredibly powerful. Great interview.
You can see that China Mac really respects the OG!
This was really insightful, good interview
Awesome video I'm not Asian but I know what it's like to be considered an other in the 90s. Keep putting out the great vids
It's was was hard to be Asian back then even today. Not just the whites being racist to Asians but also other minoritiess racist to them too....which is never made sense to me. I thought all minorities should of stuck together.
@@teovu5557 absolutely I had to watch my back from wh1tes and bl@cks. Now we are older and it's time for us to speak our truth about the American experience
This Channel is def gonna grow. It’s different! No other channel like it. Why? Because it’s on Chinese Gangs❗️ only thing is that the interviewer needs to step it up just a bit and be more on point with the questions and interview in general. But shoutout CHINA MAC❗️
Boston Massachusetts is rocking with you and your channel! 💪🏼 keep it going
Thank you! We love Boston!
VERY COOL ENDING!
Absolutely fantastic video thank you.
This was very Good..Salute
Idk how i missed this interview with Mac, if you notice his body language he was kinda taken back after he was told who it was! Much respect for both.
The UK had a very heavy Triad presence in the 90s to 2000s, some well documented gangs and dangerous mainlanders, hope you can get plugged in over here too, your channel is very interesting.
Thanks for your support.
Where’s the full interview ????? Can’t end it on a cliff hanger like that lol
Can't wait for more stories. Love the channel!! Thank you.
Subscribed. Much respect
Great interviews as always 👌
Thx Winston! Always glad to see you around!
@@chinatowngangstories always a pleasure supporting this channel 🙌
Asian with attitude remember that bro
Pussycat live longer bro... at least u know yourself from a young age

What gang was mike moy in? I can’t seem to find the part where he specifically says which gang he was in?
Epic they made movies about these gangs
