In my book, SINGLED OUT by Grace Nelly, I explain that my mistake of staying single can be used as a way to bless others who may be about to make the same mistake as me. God never gave up on me. Even our regrets and heartbreaks can be used to honor and serve Him.
Yes I believe that statement - but I am not convinced that people who hear that statement will realise that it doesn't erase our opportunity to use our FREEDOM (note that I said use our FREEDOM - whenever we sin due to weakness we aren't free) to turn from God (while pretending that we are not in making those free choices saying no to relationship to him). See Rom 11:22, 2 Pet 2:20, Heb 10:29 and Heb 6:4-6 - which make it clear that people have the FREEDOM to live out a pattern of acts - which while God's nature will never change - can cause people to reach a point where God's nature is unable to redeem them. (Any person who is concerned that they may have reached this point has - definitionally - not reached it).
Sometimes I believe it and sometimes I believe He has left me! However, lately I believe He hasn't given up on me!
God never stops working❤🎉
