They never said the entire game was from the ground up. They mentioned a few specific aspects and people went and ran with it. I'm not excusing the company, and there are myriad and one reasons to be dissatisfied with the game, but lying about "from the ground up" isn't one of them.
Can't blame the developers for bad drivers. The game is great when racing is clean. All I see in this video is bad driving nothing wrong with the game.
Quick tip (in case someone didn't know like on 17:05 ) : always check behind before cornering/turn, if you see your opponent keep fast on turning line try ghosting (which rarely people can see it, use your guts if you can't see it happen) (note: im sorry if my english sound/looked bad)
I'm a huge Prostreet fan, and when you see other players with visual tuning from this game, and add soundtracks to it, I just get a kick out of it. I don't play Forza motorsports, but in Forza Horizon 5 I tuned all the cars from Prostreet. Thank you for the video. With love from Russia.

I don't understand the appeal of ramming in a game like this. I know it's not a full sim, but it's supposed to be more serious than something like, say, Horizon. Even if I won every single race, I wouldn't be satisfied with my performance if I did it by pushing people off course.
Also 11:07 I thought you were gonna complain about how blinding the countdown/go ui is cause I race from the steering wheel view and you have no idea how many times I've loaded in the middle of a corner and went straight tf off track
My tyres were fresh from a pitstop while the guy in front was with worn tyres so isntead of battling for position he just let me pass on the straight -> respect
