These trucks look easy to slide, but that's on the driver for making it look easy 👌🏻 What needs to be done to the diff to make it lock up? Weld it like a cheapskate? Swap in a Corvette rear end?

Did u tune ur Ecu? were u able to drive it before the tune?
Cody mueller you can drive it but it will stall at stops

Did you try it with the stock converter or already had it ? I'm wonder how it will do with stock stall.
Does fine with stock stall. Pushes through brakes a little at stop lights but it’s not bad.

Did you have any vacuum problems with the breaks on this cam. me and my buddy have ran this cam and both had vacuum problems after the cam install and tune

What's the idle set at and also what size stall u running did upgrade valve springs also or leave stock ones my truck sounds nothing like that same cam I have with long tubes and flowmasters..

did you have any issues with low vacuum? I am running the same cam on my 5.3 and at idle my vacuum is way to low? I am trying to pin point if it is the cam or a tuning issue.

Wayne Walker I didn’t even change my springs. That’s why it’s called nsr cam “no springs required”

Sorry to ask I’m new to the gm work what are stalls and what are 3.42 gears and how the hell do I upgrade to 4.10 gears I got a 05 GMC Sierra 5spd it’s the 4.8 tho 😅😅 trying to get some cams but I’m not sure what These other terms mean

LSX WYATT yeah man those gears will wake it up i went from 3.42 to 4.10 and put a 4k fti stall in mine and it rolls about as fast as yours now. Those gears make a big difference i can smoke guys that i couldnt beat before. Stock cam 5.3

Garrett Coone I like the nsr cam so far. I could definitely feel power gain. I chose this cam based on this being a daily driver as of now and it has great street manners. The nsr cam has the same duration as the btr stage 4 cam but just not as much lift.

It supposedly was tuned but he did seem like he was in a hurry to just get me outta there . Even charged me less then the price advertised. Gonna take it to someone else see if I have any better luck

Will this work in my 4.8 ls
The 5.3 and 4.8 are basically the same motor. Only differences being the 4.8 has a different crank and flat top pistons. Just as long as you ensure you have the correct pushrod length and spring rate it will work
@@beardedforlife3740 4.8 has same crank as 5.3 The only difference is the 5.3 has a longer stroke than 4.8 I have this cam in my 03 check the video
@@dilloncox5082 they do not have the same crank. They have different specs and casting numbers. The crankshaft in the 5.3 is similar to the one used in the 5.7 and 6.0

Jesse Kulbe didn’t really notice to much in fuel changing to be honest. And it’s just been street tuned. No dyno numbers yet
