Old Gal is so sweet that she moved me to tears. What an expressive face--I've never seen an old goose before. I wish I could take her under *my* wing and give her a good life free of that boorish Al.
It's all about respect. Sometimes the further away you are the more respected (not assaulted) you are. I had a budgie who hated everyone! I got the bird from my sister who couldn't care for her anymore. I lived quite a distance from my sister. One visit I had to bring budgie with me. Everyone was convinced I killed the original bird and got a new one because she had become so sweet. She just needed a lot more attention and I had the extra time. I think Old Gal should be in the painting. She's the most interesting in looks and personality.
My gander does that noise that Al did too. I call it his purr. He only does it with me and maybe one of my kids. It’s an affectionate noise, as he also does it when he’s snuggling with his girls. I use it to calm him down when he gets feisty too.
I was going to ask if you were an artist, then I saw your link to the story about the cross walk/ zebra crossing. That takes a lot of guts to stand up for what you believe in! The optical illusion was great! Where I live in Australia, the council's put speed bumps, bollards and concrete to make the roads narrow in places to discourage speeding. I was thinking that the geese could use the speed bumps on the streets where they often cross. I hope when you finish your goose painting, you will show it on your channel.
Thank you, they did eventually end up putting bump outs and speed bumps once I went and talked to city council.. have a video of it somewhere. I will be sure to post some progress video on the goose painting once I have some :)
I have ... a background colour painted :p I have a couple other projects I am trying to finish before I tackle a new one, but It may move up on the list with all the new attention to the channel.
@@SullivansGoose if you have any of your other work posted online and want to share, let me know! And yes, whenever the painting is done, if you'd like, it would be fun to see the painting on the channel :)
Nothing, certainly not fresh corn they eat right out of my hand. That would be against a local ordinance that shouldn't apply to the geese because they are domesticated and do not migrate.
I expected an old goose but I didn’t expect to her to look like an actual grandma haha! Adorable ^^
Old Gal definitely has a story or two to tell… they’re so peaceful
"Her face certainly has the most character to it. She has droopy eyes... and a flabby thing under her neck there."
Old Gal: "Excuse me? Well I never!"
Grannies everywhere felt a random twinge of anger when he described the flabby thing.
I have never seen an old beauty like her, what a rare sight! Great video
Thanks so much :)
Gal seems truly interested in your painting; all the others have walked on thinking ‘boring’… I love you videos!
Thank you so much :)

Cute grandma goose she's so trusting of you
the pigeon walking with them makes this somehow more beautiful
They all know nobody messes with geese, it's a safe space for them.. except for the geese.
I love these videos, some of them are so relaxing to watch, and some are quite funny and loud😂. Thank you so much for posting these

I need more calm, mellow videos like this in my life
I find this one especially calming : ua-cam.com/video/FP7QFhL_oi4/v-deo.html lots more in my channel, more in the spring :)

@@SullivansGoose Sometimes it takes someone to speak up to get the desired result. I'm sure your effort was appreciated.
Honk if you're a goose and vice versa
She looks like an old granny. Very wise haha
I can already hear her Received Pronunciation.
1:20 Grandfather 😌♥️
Have you worked on your painting? As a beginner painter, I would love to see it!

@@SullivansGoose thank for replying, good on you for showing care for them
hjonk!

You have not posted for while :(
The geese should be back from winter housing in a week!
@@SullivansGoose aahh great stuff!
Did I see a goose poo?
Seems like one of them always is. Sam probably would have jumped into my lap for scratches were it not a roll of the dice.
needs more honking
haha, maybe she's intelligent enough to understand you.
sucks these birds are mean
Only the overwhelming majority of them. :) ua-cam.com/video/FP7QFhL_oi4/v-deo.html
