Combine it with Exuberant Fuseling and/or Evolving Adaptive to create strong cheap creatures. Norn's Wellspring is also a strong card in combination with Forge.
Its a solid piece in the right engine. No engine piece is awesome alone. Your take is no take at all really.

This card is really good. Basically landed me into mythic. It's a relevant threat that only costs 3 mana to get started. It's insane against most decks on its own. It's an auto win when combined with burn.
Does it really increase the winrate of burn rather than drag it down?
I seem to struggle against 2 types of creatures. Both obliterator and vindicator. Which is why I threw in white for direct removal such as the white sun board wipe and 2 mana destroy creature or planeswalker. It stabilized the deck a bit in those matches and ironically helps I other matchups. I use a straight 4 of each brothers and burn downs as my wipes. Otherwise. I run 2 red invoke as well as 4 dragon egg and 2 mana hellkite and 2 mondrak. I run 3 mirrex Lands to make creatures which can be relevant for the last couple points of damage after a wipe. They combo with 3 mana enchantment that increases artifacts and reds damage by 1. I run 3 wandering emperor as well for removal and lategame after a wipe I can play a guy. Pump up a token created by forge so if I'm facing against first strike I can still get through. Which Thalia is very good against this deck which u need to run 4 of lightning strike and 4 of the 2 damage 1 mana one. I also run 4 draw spells. The red one that draws 2 creates a treasure. And 4 oil lands

@@MichaelTheGathering Forge is my least favorite card in standard arena rn, I think it boosts win rate by a good amount
You either throw oil counters on it with other cards, or you keep letting it die to fuel the Radkos sacrifice deck. It's pretty ridiculous. I can put 6 +1/+1 counters on my creatures in 1 turn.
It's turned out to be alright as an engine piece, but it's still so slow by itself
@@MichaelTheGathering I agree for the engine part, as It's also good as a target away from my cute, innocent, exuberant fuseling once it get's big enough. Every time one of the token's die my fuseling gets bigger and bigger, and then there's Free From Flesh. 1 red mana, +4/+4 No one ever expects a 1/1 to turn into a 6/3 with trample in a turn.
This thing won my draft playing just one other artifact that puta oil counter on it

I’m here for that. I still reckon you’d get better results with a faster deck that cuts both this and Lagomos but I’m happy it’s found a home
If it's your only source of sacrefice then yeah, the deck does nothing without it.
