LOOOL i just watched your 2013 cover of this literally a minute ago, good to see revamp of the cover + your timing really improved a lot as compared to the 2013 cover
I think also that the hardest part is to stay on beat, since it is literally fucking impossible to both sing and play the song at the same time. I don't understand how Alex does it
@@jager9022 who t hell said Crying Lightning wasn't easy, i mean don't get me wrong the solo was kinda difficult at first because of the quick bends and slides cause you gotta make it sound like it and i think that's the most difficult and important thing in all of their songs, and that's my point in Knee Sock, yeah sure it's not as complex as sum other songs but to get that tone and not to miss those slides as well as singing at the same time, it's kinda tricky. With Brianstorm, the song is sooooo easy, going from 1|||||2-1|||||2 anybody could do that, but to get it at 165 bpm steady without missing a note and shit like that, sure it is difficult.
This is great, I’m actually learning r u mine and playing it on guitar for my gcse and have been learning it off your tutorial, so if I pass then it’s you to thank:)
Love this! Also idk if you take/want recommendations but if you do I’d absolutely loveee to see you cover little monster by Royal Blood!! It has a cool vibrato sound that I think you’d make sound so amazing
Damn, you even used the same exact guitars as they did during the AM era. (Alex still uses the Gretsch to play this tune nowadays, but you know what I mean) Great cover as always!
I must of re-watched the bit where he goes mad at the tremelo like 5 times, great work harry. Fantastic news that you're re-doing all of AM. You should do balaclava from fwn by am
I’m not sure whether to use a 12 string or just replicate a 12 string with an octave pedal, considering hardly anyone has a 12 string I think it’d make more sense to replicate with a pedal, what do you think?
HarryAndAGuitar I think if you could find someone who could lend you a 12 string you would be the only person on youtube to do this i wanna know with a 12 string i think that would be just huge! But if you can't, a pedal would be nice too
ArnaudG1 yeah, I could just buy a 12 string, but I really think people would be more interested in how to replicate it with an octave pedal, as hardly anyone had a 12 string... hmmmm
HarryAndAGuitar If you think the boss octave pedal or the POG 2 gets close enough, I’d say do the pedal since a majority of people have those over an actual 12 string like you pointed out!
great cover, harry. interestingly enough, just a couple days ago i've decided to learn this tune and I used your first version of it to get it. I'm pretty surprised that you just uploaded a new one. I guess I just broke the matrix then?
Splendid quality as always. I'm sure you would have a lot of fun playing Radioheads "There There" on your guitar, it's quite special. Another mostly unknown musician is Whitey, I think he is brilliant, feel free to check him out, especially his guitar style is very unique. Whitey - Sweet Words For The Sour is a great example of that.

so spot on bro!! awesome cover
So good! You can tell so much effort went into this
I’ve tried to play this song and the worst part is definitely to keep the 97 bpm speed
Yeah 😔 specially in the part from 2:18 to 2:46
definitely
I think also that the hardest part is to stay on beat, since it is literally fucking impossible to both sing and play the song at the same time. I don't understand how Alex does it
@@nocapmajor Yeah aswell as Knee Socks and Brianstorm are impossible asf

Sebastian Medina that’s what I’m thinking.... the pog would do it better, as it has the detune control too...
Awesome!
Esse homem toca muito "0 o 0"
You just showed me I was learning this song completely wrong, lol no wonder I was struggling
