A tremendous amount of respect goes to Gisèle Pelicot for her courage, bravery, and strength. She is truly an icon in the fight for change, bringing this issue out of the shadows and into the light, where it deserves much-needed attention and discourse.
Stop covering these men’s faces and identity
As a male I feel sickened about my species. I can't even imagine how & why so many men would do this. The problem for me is getting my head around the fact that it appears to be normalised. Websites like Coco now closed down, were set up to make rape anonymous.
Women have a long way to go & a lot more is needed to educate men that this is not normal behaviour. The first big lesson that needs to be taught to these men is Respect.
I can’t believe that out of all them men not one said no and then told the police
Did the husband have a vetting hearing or something before he offered her to them
Why would that be surprising? These men came for rape. What other kinds of men would have shown up? It was a message to perverts, and they responded.
What an incredible woman. Her resilience is so inspiring. I can’t believe this happened to her. He even did this to his step daughter and his own daughter taking photos of them. That man and his accomplices are the definition of pure. Raw. Evil.
When will we see everybody’s face? Do they still get anonymity?
Thanks for posting
It’s wild to me that the suspects are just allowed to freely come and go and arrive on their own free will everyday.
Why are there no pictures of all the men???
Is that all?
She is a woman of so much courage. I'm in constant awe! Thank you G, for paving the way. I cannot imagine how hard this must have been, but you are teaching victims that they are not the ones to hold shame, and their voice matters.
They should all show us their faces, they don’t deserve anonymity… shame on them all.
Annie Lennox, always a leader, my idol.
What about other men who participated?
Merci Gisèle ♀️
I live in Washington, DC. Please don’t assume all of us wanted this man as president. He should be disqualified and let’s remember many people were taken off of the voting rolls by the 100s of thousands. I live in Washington, DC. I’ve lived through both Obama and Trump’s first presidency. We do not have voting members in congress because we don’t have statehood. We overwhelmingly voted for Kamala. Please make sure you always recognize there are many people who didn’t have a fair chance to even vote. Elon Musk was also buying votes. Please stop saying the American people voted for Donald Trump.
A "word salad" for President with extremely low qualifications for that position.... Please, give me a break!
@phenomteacher
No, just the majority, what's your problem?
Thank you to the international press for the extensive coverage, something our local press did not have the courage to do. We must not forget this case.
Local press didn't report this ? Why are you lying ? There are hundreds of articles or videos from every single media outlet
i wish you didn't have to blur their faces
The support of other women is so beautifully touching.
20 years does not seem to be enough punishment. How extraordinarily brave she is...
Only 20 years? Is that it?
I hope he doesn't make 90
Twenty years plus being allowed to leave the courtroom? Another atrocity done to this strong woman.😢
20 years for what this man did to his wife and daughter?!?! 20 years is NOTHING for the amount of trauma this man, men, cause to this woman!!!!
I still don't get it!
The mind boggles at what is happening in today’s world just when you think you’ve heard it all along comes this horror. Wish Gisèle and her family long life peace and happiness now some form of Justice served…
WHY IS HIS FACE NOT SHOWN AND FILMED????
Why are there faces blurred 😡 This world
20 years...3 to 15 yrs discusting france zhould be ashamed
Absolutely
20 years is nothing after what he did
That public support is AMAZING. ❤️ 👍
It shows that even your husband cannot be trusted anymore.
What a courageous woman! May she have justice and healing.
It is really disappointing to hear these women speak about all men as if they are rapists and place these actions at the feet of all men, rather than blame the actual perpetrators.
There is a whole ring behind this, enabling all kinds of sexuall criminal acts of course including child abuse! They picked and charged one person instead of sheding light on the whole network!
She deserves An Award for her bravery. Forget Hollywood and the Oscars this is true bravery. Thank you on behalf of all women and from Ireland 🇮🇪
Notice she didn't mention Bill Clinton and his sa of Juanita Broderick.
Her animus shows.
Why are grown-a55 men able to have their identities hidden as if they are children?
Those whom value The Orange Guy's values obviously hold those same values, so we know what kind of people they are.
20 years is too small a sentence.
St. Gisèle
Oh comon. Did she feed the poor ? No something unfortunate happened to her
