The autobiographical documentary Val released a few years ago is so good. Highly recommend. It’s narrated in the first person by Val’s son who sounds very much like him.
What makes it even more epic is the fact it heavily utilizes "home footage" Val recorded, throughout his life. The man has a VAULT of recordings which lend perspective to the whole story. I always liked Val Kilmer, even in the '95 batman flick, but I gained SO much respect for him after watching the documentary.
With all the great serious roles he's known for like Tombstone, The Doors, and Top Gun, it's easy to forget he started with one of my favorite comedies of the 80s, Top Secret!

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched that movie but the last time was 3 weeks ago & every time feels like the first time when he says that line… 3:43
I Love that he said 'I'm going to start to cry' instead of 'I'm getting emotional' - There are MANY emotions, sadness doesn't own the monopoly on feelings.
As a person who works in healthcare, I wish I could go back in time and tell Val that he is about to get throat cancer. Same with Shannon Doherty with her cancer. Sadly though, there are a lot of good people who are not celebrities like the doctors I work with that are heroes who names will never be mentioned or cared about like these people. Truly sad the priorities of people.
I didn't know Val Kilmer had a Mark Twain show. I read that when actor Jerry Hardin, who played Mark Twain on Star Trek: The Next Generation, was pitched the idea of performing his own show as Mark Twain, he joked that Hal Holbrook might put out a contract on him.
Hey there’s a problem with Conan O’Brien Must Go. I purchased it, but “Argentina” is uploaded twice, once with the wrong title, “Thailand”, and Thailand was never uploaded. Can anyone else confirm?

@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory I find accents fascinating. I used to think that every state had their own accent(s) but that's not true. Accents are regional and can encompass more than one state. I think American movies have caused lots of confusion in this area. They use a generic southern accent when in fact, there are many types of southern accents. Cancer can linger and build slowly and not be noticed, it was found and they started working on it after this.
