I'm a 40-year-old Millennial but to a large degree Millennials did destroy the current NBA. It was Steph Curry who is a Millennial that ushered in this horrible 3-point shooting era. Gen Z has now adapted this style of play and taken it to another level. The current NBA's style of play has the Millennials fingerprints all over it.
Are you representative of the ENTIRE country? No, you're not. Then Charles isn't talking to you, so stfu. Why is everyone so self-absorbed that they think people on TV are talking about them? If it doesn't apply to you then they aren't talking about you, how hard is that to understand.

Bob Costas was more than patient with Gayle! She loves to interrupt, she knows nothing of the history of the NBA, she's there it seems to throw a different opinion into the fire for reaction. Hatorade??? No, Sir Charles & Bob Costas lived it. The league has gone 360° south in last decade. Gone are the mid-range artists. Defense at the 2024 All-Star Game was non-existent. And the abundance of recent 60 point scorers is not normal. Does that make them greater than the players from decades past? Those players revolutionized the game: Russell, Chamberlain, Oscar Robertson, Magic, Bird, Michael, Jabbar, Olajuwon. Sure every generation has its superstars, the last one with Steph, Durant & Lebron...But they're playing in a diluted league with 3-pointers by the dozens, no defense & no rivalries. There are way too many 3-pointers taken (and missed) and it has made the game completely repetitive and boring. Plus, there is hardly any defense being played. This is why the scoring is astronomical now! The game has been completely watered down and as a result, the TV ratings have plummeted...
The issue with Taylor Swift for so many football fans is that she is left wing politically. If she were a MAGA type or completely a-political, no issues.
I really like Bob Costas
So true. How do I know, I am one of them. Worst generation that ever existed. Why? It negatively influenced Gen Z, even though Gen Z doesn’t want to end up “like us.”
Too much scoring to the point where it’s expected for a superstar to score 100 points. There’s no excitement because defense is no longer the foundation. Athletes are getting more talented now and that’s okay. NBA just needs to be creative in finding ways to make the game exciting and competitive again. It’s not by scoring 100 points because it’s saturated now. Probably make the court bigger and create a four point shot.
Charles Barkley was the best player on the 1992 Olympic "Dream Time". Also, he is 6'7", not 6'4" like a lot of people think. There's proof. Google his mug shot and you can clearly see is is exactly 6'7".
In shoes* during the Olympic measurements, Barkley came in at 6' 4 1/4". Notice how Charles did not correct Costas when he said 6' 5" maybe 6' 4" ?
@@williestyle35 so the mugshot is wrong? Also, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson are 6’4”. Charles is easily 3” taller than them.
@@lemongavine the mug shot is not perfect, and it was taken with Charles wearing shoes, the "official" Olympic measurements are taken in bare feet.
@@williestyle35so I guess Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson are 6'1" then and Charles was wearing high heels in his mugshot photo. I would bet anything Charlies is closer to 6'7" than 6'4" (barefoot)
Charles should know when to shut up and let their guest do the talking. That's the reason their show started in the first place.
IT WUZ FUNNY HOW FOX 🦊 FAKE NEWS PICKED THE OTHER TEAM TO WIN & AS ALWAYZ THEY LOST "BIGLY" AGAIN😂😅😂
I heard Mr. Mar a lago is upset at 🦊. One day a friend next day an enemy 🐝
@@albertogomez78787 YUP YUP & THEY'RE FOOLS FOR GOING THRU THE SAME CRAP AGAIN THAT COST THEM $787 MILLION THE LAST TIME TOO 😂
Millennials are in our late 20s to early 40s and a lot of us have kids off our own and we tired.
Stop blaming us for your systematic failure!
Late 20's? So you should be booted off your parents insurance any day now then.
This show would be perfect if it was Charles and Ernie
Let Bob talk, quit taking all the time & allow the guests to speak & tell stories
This lady is pretty bad at interviewing people. She never lets people finish their points.
CNN should sack this woman for negligent incompetence
The players are more talented but damn there is no concept of defense in the NBA and the players also don’t bother to play it
The games are also damn near exhibition games like the All Star Game.
They need to get the refs be less lenient on the foul calling and allow some toughness back into the game
12:23, I respect Charles Barkley, but that is a BS take. These Millennials include LeBron James, the GREATSET of all time, and Steph Curry, also Top 4 ALL TIME. LeBron and Steph are on the Mount Rushmore of basketball🏀greats💯Now the load management with others is a problem for the game though.
"LeBron James, the GREATSET of all time, and Steph Curry, also Top 4 ALL TIME..."
Lol. Thanks for that. I needed a laugh.
It's true. Who is better than LeBron? Don't say Michael Jordan. He can't with without Scottie and Phil. And Steph Curry is the GREATEST shooter of the basketball in history. My take is SOLID!💯
"I think once you become a millionaire you become handsome." - Charles Barkley
We need to see the Chuck Tyson clip.
The NBA is unwatchable. Especially the playoffs. After this play-in stuff, 1st round should be best of 3, 2nd round best of 5, then your best of 7. There's no urgency.
Ironically (Taylor Swift) is a "MILLENNIAL" as well because her birth year is 1989?!...
I was 27th ave and camelback '93 love Sir Charles. Booker is right there to
Chuck's gotta ease up on the whole "MIllennial" thing. I was born in 1981, I'm about to be 43 in 3 days and according to the dumbass internet, I'm considered a millennial. I'm a married man with 3 kids. Calm down Charles (who is one of my favorite players btw #DreamTeam4Life)
I'm a 40-year-old Millennial but to a large degree Millennials did destroy the current NBA.
Gail is so unnecessary SMFH
Gayle doesn't know what she is talking about, contributes nothing to the conversation and keeps interrupting. She's a nice lady but just let Charles take over or get someone else in there it's getting ridiculous.
The game is boring!!!
9:25 😳 wtf is she talking about 🤣
Great job Gail!!
