    I have a friend who said he was an atheist until on one beautiful day he simply said aloud, "Thank you." Then is struck him...Who was he thanking? He realized that on a deeper level, the knowledge of the existence of God was inside himself.

    I have one doubt, in the eternal life before of the second combing of Jesus we will have minds? Or we will be inconscient? The brain makes the mind, and the mind points to God

      the mind is consiousness, reasoning, thought, perception, feeling, desire etc. These things exist irrespective of what worldview.

      Before birth you have no knowledge of the physical world then when you're born you become more and more aware of the world around you. Sometimes more at once than others. Sometimes less . You're always learning til you die. The more you know the more it molds and reflects who you are. We are all born an susceptible to sin. It's almost impossible to encounter another person that never sinned. That's why god sent jeus to die for our sins to fight against the FORCES of evil sometimes we have poor judgement and sin anyways. As long as it's not DELIBERATELY on purpose it's not your fault you can get right with god and accept jesus as your savior.

    Because of an erconcept of christian peace and loyalty, Some are willing to say that that the age of the earth is unimportant whether it's old very Young. Christians by definition search for truth both in theology and science. It is not at all helpful to allow a person while still respecting their right to choose their perspective. To believe in something that is obviously or scientifically based. Or someone to make sweeping definitions about the nature of the trinity, Or the definition of life, What's start problems on a level our civilization has never known. Or were someone to say that the prophets of old We're actually born in the twentieth century, People would also rightly have issue with this viewpoint. When I first learned of geological deep time, it put my life in perspective and help me realize. Most importantly, that my problems are nothing compared to an ancient god and an ancient creation, Who is patiently waiting to fix things in our world , BECAUSE IT MATTERS WHATS REAL!

  • @KevinGeneFeldman

    When you talk about your brain, you're doing so as if the brain is a possession, because inherently it is and you that's the only way you can speak about it. Think about it, why aren't you the conscious observer experiencing self in the body of ANYONE else on earth past, present or in the future? Why aren't you them? When they were born, the light that came on for you in your body, why wasn't it those bodies? Why not more than once? Why now and not in the past or in the future? The body you are is totally arbitrary. Its impossible for you to be your mind, that means you aren't really anything but an illusion, so who is being fooled by this illusion? See? Someone has to observe the illusion of consciousness to be fooled into consciousness meaning you have to have genuine consciousness of the soul to truly observe anything. Otherwise you are not yourself, youre a computer. A computer acts, it completes processes, it thinks by crunching numbers towards a task, thats exactly what every single one of us would be without a soul. Nobody would be here, nobody would observe, matter would exist and it wouldn't be known because it could only be known to a mind, genuine consciousness.

  • @oldscorp
    @oldscorp 4 роки тому +7

    I find this a weak argument. You have to prove why the mind differs from the brain and why its a separate machine. Also you can say that its possible to measure the mind...an IQ test, measures your cognitive capacity. Why is the information i know and the speed of decision making and accesing or processing information, not a part of the brain ? I know objective morality points to the existence of God, but how do we know where the brain ends and the soul begins ?

      My husband was an atheist all his life but became a christian after trying to prove the bible wrong.... Anyway, Chris had never had any supernatural things happen to him until I did something very stupid one Christmas late afternoon.
      We lived in Largo Florida and we decided to walk off Christmas meal so we went to the beach. I was wearing a Christmas silly necklace. I walked to the edge of the water and held the necklace over the water and told the beast of Revelation to come forth. I laughed and he said 'not cool' I was just messing with him.. After the walk we sat down on a bench so we could watch the sun set.... I'm looking down at the sand making shapes in the sand with my feet and Chris says to me.~ Look!
      I looked up and saw a man all in black standing on the water about 40 feet out. and I said '''''''hey ! how is that guy standing on the water... and that's when it hit me that it wasn't human. Chris had already realized this. Chris told me to gt up and head for the van... so I started walking fast as I could and I turned back to look and Chris was still standing just staring at this thing and then Chris turned and said 'GO GO. We got in the van and his face was in shock and he was freaked and he didn't want to talk much about it until years later. My argument for a God is seeing a demon.

      It's actually a strong argument.
      He explain very well why brain is different from mind in here. And on test, they don't meassure the thoughs, they see your capacity to resolve de problem and how you work and react to things, through test and then, see if that its close of what its healthy and other things.

      If there is an identity relationship between the mind and brain you should be able to look at someone's brain and derive the exact subjective experience and thoughts they ars having without them telling you. But you can't. Because they aren't identical. They are completely different categories entirely. There is no reason why a brain or any other physical entity should have a subjective experience whatsoever.

    There is no “Argument” required as “Consciousness” Is God; being that Consciousness Is The ONLY REALITY for all living things, especially humans having the abilities to be Sentient, “Self-Conscious” (or Conscious Of Their Own Human Nature aka The “Self”), & “Meta-Cognizant” (Conscious Of Their Own Conscious Thoughts), for which no other creature on this planet can do.
    Thus, the “Power” which we call “God” is Purely & Exclusively “Mind” (aka Consciousness), as the term “God” wasn’t formed and utilized until around the 6th century, from its Proto-Germanic origin. So, there is no “God” in the form of some “anthropomorphic outside deity”, which humans have created and formed religions around (from their very own Consciousness/Mind) for the sake of having something in the form of a “material figure” that they can “connect to” & “reference” (which is for the satisfaction of the mental sentient nature of being-to make themselves feel more “at peace within” about there being a “figure” of some sort to “believe in”; instead of gaining Enlightenment to Believe In their very own Consciousness/Mind as being “God”). #MindIsLife 💡
