For those not sure, this is about Cronus of Greek mythology.
He had foreseen he would be overthrown and killed by one of his own children.
So he devoured all but one. (Zeus, who we see in the end of the video slaying him and setting his siblings free.)
Burnishable Cronus was a fucked up being. If you look through the lore, and mythology, he is depicted as not giving a fuck. He killed his own father, and ate his children, etc. This video depicts him as being almost hesitant at first. It seems as though he doesn't want to eat his children, but he's so power hungry that he doesn't want to risk being overthrown.
Burnishable This song made me cry. Reminds me of my dad. He also didn't care about anyone.

I've heard this song five years ago but I still remember that it had marked me a lot. I have a very strange feeling when I hear this song,how to describe it... ? maybe a kind of fascination with a sense of dread ? It's splendid, thank you for did it.
I adore this song because it really gets what Cronos did to his children into a whole new light. We hear how this monster devoured his own children without a second thought all because they were a threat to his power, but it's always in a third person perspective. Now, we're seeing it in the view of one of the children, who is innocent and onblivious to his father's horrible plans. Then we are really thrown into knowing the fact that all of the children are still alive in their father's stomach, confused, not knowing why their father would do this.

The scariest part is that someone has probably already written a vore fanfiction involving Cronus eating his kids...

I know that this song already has a meaning to it but I think of it as a child sitting next to their dying mother listening to the beeps on the heart monitor before falling asleep and being thrown into this nightmare-like world in their dream. And they just keep on apologizing that it’s their fault that their mother is dying(represented by the lyrics I’m sorry I was born) and how they don’t want to be alone. They’re being eaten away from the pain and guilt(represented when they’re eaten). Then when they finally wake up the heart monitor stops with the mothers last breath and the child bringing the scythe down on her then the child just breaks down. That’s my own representation of it

Okay- I have a little nitpick of the PV. In the mythology’s canon, Chronos did not chew up his kids like in the visuals. He swallowed them whole. That’s how he had mistaken a rock for Zeus. Because he didn’t chew it and realise it was a fake

Babuchan, I don’t know if you read comments on your videos, but your works are spectacular. There are so many layers to your music and the way you use different sounds and instruments is unique, and I seem to hear new details each time I listen to them. I’m always left thinking after I listen to your music.
I really like the video for this song. It adds a sense of tragedy and regret to the story that isn’t really present in the original myth of Cronus. And the storybook look is even reflected in the sounds of turning pages in the song itself.
And the way part of this song plays quietly at the start of 不幸があの子な is brilliant. It’s like the last child heard the “happy” child’s song and responds with their own. (For those who like this song I suggest you check out that one, too. It’s also on UA-cam.)

The story behind this is from Greek mythology from the titan for cronus and he was a god who had kids and he one day saw his children would overthrow him one day so to not let them do that he ate them and p.s cronus is the leader and lightning god Zeus dad and at the end of the song Zeus cuts his father and pushes him in the pit of Tartarus

TLDR, it's the story of Greek Myth.
Cronos devoured his children, but Zeus was hidden away, and eventually he gets strong enough to kill Cronos and free his siblings.
Except, in the PV, it shows Zeus killing Cronos straight-up with a scythe, when in actuality, he drugged Cronos with an emetic [makes ya vomit], and he vomited out all the young gods, and Cronos had to surrender, because he knew he couldn't fight all the gods.
So, that's how the pantheon of Olympus was made.
Kinda fucked up.
