I truly love " kenny", as I am a loyal Kenworth fan...however, I really love sn old Marmon, which my Dad had, as well as an old GMC Astro with a 318 Detroit, and those air powered windshield wipers...who can forget those??..lol..regardless, follow your heart on these rebuilds, as you will be the one spending the money and having to look at it.. Also, it's nice to see a salesman who actually knows trucks, as there are so many who don't know their a** from a hole in the ground. Good job!
I like the paint job on 115 in the Blue Scheme that would really look good on that Truck also 104 in the Blue Scheme looks good also. Anything in a Blue paint job will look really good.

Look back to the 70's for the coolest paint schemes! Kenworth had the best and Peterbilt used them too since they were both Paccar products. The BJ and the Bear one you refer to is the Salem paint scheme and is my favorite (as well as the Lexington one). Either would look good on your K100, (even in blue which you don't like) to match your interior. Pete's best 70's paint scheme was the Winslow stripes which would look awesome on your 362. Just my opinion but you should check them out, they blow away any 80's or later paint jobs. Look forward to seeing how they end up!
Porter greetings! 🇺🇸 Love the color charts! Hey, can you set me straight??🧐 I’ve been around a lot of old trucks, especially cabovers. Well, both cabovers and conventionals. I’ve seen several trucks that had the original factory paint job, supposedly. Really, some of the “originals” didn’t have the wrap around paint schemes, but some of them did. Do your books show these “originals” show the walk around view? Did the original schemes come with a wrap around paint job? Some of the guys would actually take the truck to a shop and have them complete the paint scheme on the back or even the tops. Or did it just vary by the different manufacturers? That’s one thing that I remember and it made me not to like the original paint schemes because they just didn’t seem complete. How’s about #214 theme on the cabover, it would work fine on it. It can be easily modified to fit onto the cabover. I did that scheme on a 1/16 scale W900 Aerodyne model and loved it! I painted the truck black and used blue pin striping. That was one sweet looking model! 🥰🧐 This truck will help you do many things! Keep On Truckin! ✌️

You should do a legendary navy blue and sliver on low and slow with the 101 design or the same colors of that freightliner cabover you where going to buy

Low and slow , ... stick with 315/70/22.5 ,you really don't want to lower the gearing radically , as you will end up all revs/drinking diesel and no action ! just a suggestion 1 single straight pipe and 1 air intake stack on the back ,keep it uncluttered . As for 'Kenny' don't be to peeved when you get the side cam roller plates off , the cam is damaged ,gentle removal of any burrs/sharp edges to the cam face will get you by , look to replacing all the cam roller's/bearings/pins , poss a complete side plate assembly as you already know you are missing a roller ,but do not know how or why that roller went south ! might be worth replacing the lifters as well , look forward to seeing how these 2 turn out .

I never liked the factory designs I ordered my 1978 solid color and had my own stripes put on.my dads friend had a Astro truck and trailer it was the same yellow my 2001 Corvette is he had the neatest exhaust duel chrome rectangle pipes this was in he 70s
don't pimp LOW AND SLOW no drop visor and straight pipes and what does OG stand for "oh geez"? old school didn't have drop visor or straight pipes old school plain clean lines no cheesy chrome crap
